Book 2 in this the Tickled Pink series was just as delightful as book 1.
I love the concept of this family being forced by their awful grandmother Gigi, to atone for their sins and lifestyle after almost dying. They're all forced to life in and renovate the old high school.
The 3 siblings, Phoebe, Tavi (Octavia) and Carter along with Gigi, her butler/boyfriend Niles, and the parents.
If you've read book one you know that dear old mom leaves Tickled Pink at the end of that book.
Tavi is a fake, she had been living a fake life for the cameras and her 'job' as an influencer, but the real her is so much more.
I have to say that she's my absolute favorite character so far in this series. I felt for her and the childhood she was robbed of, I mean they all were robbed but especially Tavi.
I loved her secret life and her generous heart and I was rooting hard for her all through this book.
There's so much to unpack with this story, and how truly strong Tavi actually is.
I loved that Dylan, the Plumber, saw through her fake personality to the real one. I can say I swooned HARD, I mean, really hard. Who doesn't want a real life Dylan of their own??
This ending was pure perfection snd greatly satisfying that Tavi got her HEA on her own terms!
What an amazingly, wonderful, complex tale of second chances and new beginnings. Great characters who you want to cheer for and a plot that kept me reading.
A lovely revisit to the town of Tickled Pink and its residents, as the Lightly family continue to inflict itself on the residents. Tavi embarks on a voyage of discovery and with the help of her friends, the town and Dylan she finally stands up to her grandmother, and realises her ambition of saving the chocolate bean farm.
Tavi Lightly is not what she seems. Sure, on the surface she appears to be a glamorous, health-obsessed, purse-dog-carrying, jet-setting, spoiled rich social media influencer, but it turns out there is more to Tavi than the smoke and mirrors online.
And when her grandmother, Gigi, decides that she will save the souls of her family by forcing them to move to Tickled Pink, Wisconsin, and do her bidding—long story, but make sure to check out The One Who Loves You for more details on that—it turns out that Tavi may be the one family member whose soul was not in peril.
When Gigi assigns Tavi the project of creating social media buzz for the town by making locals TikTok stars, Dylan Wright—hot, small town plumber, former bad boy, and man pining after his married best friend—is her first pick, and as a bonus, Tavi figures that she will help him get back into dating by driving up interest in him while being seen around town as “just friends”.
But as they get to know each other, it turns out that Dylan can see the real Tavi. And Tavi? She sees and accepts the real Dylan.
I LOVED this one—the small town characters and their foibles, Tavi’s depth and passion for others, the emotional growth of some of the Lightly family members, Gigi’s ridiculousness, Dylan’s goodness. There were moments that made me laugh-out-loud and ones that had me grinning. And the way Dylan loves Tavi—swoon. And the way her love transforms how he sees himself—aaah! True love for the win!
Plus there are mouthwatering descriptions of chocolate truffles, comedy of errors plumbing house calls, secret bunker poker games, and plenty of Pippa Grant steam.
I highly recommend this romcom to make you laugh and warm your heart.
I received an advance copy from Montlake and NetGalley. All review opinions are my own.
Pippa has done it again!!
Honestly, I was a little scared to start this because I don't really like the 'in love with someone else' trope but Pippa has written this book in a way which makes us understand the characters and the plot. Sometimes, or rather most of time, the plot is secondary. The romance and characters come first and Pippa has done exactly that. I'm not gonna talk a lot about the storyline because you have to experience it. But I will say that I loved the healing part, Tavi and Levi see through each other and make the other realise their potential. There's always the usual touch of the light, sparkly, happy magic that she makes sure to add in every book and this book was no exception. All her books will definitely make you feel better and I truly enjoyed reading this! If you haven't read her books before, now is the time to start!!
We are back in Tickeld Pink, where the Lightlys are "serving their sentence" to become people deserving of going to Heaven. The irony of ironies is that the person who is the mastermind behind this cockamamie plan is the most evil of them all: Gigi Lightly, the grandma from hell.
Tavi Lightly is a sugar-free, vegan social media influencer...in public. Her true passion is her cacao farm in Costa Rica and making chocolate. The only was she can keep the farm running is using her trust fund, now frozen by her obnoxious grandmother. Said grandmother enlists Tavi for charity work and her first assignment is to turn the local reformed bad boy into a social media star, therefore attracting tourists to Tickled Pink. The unwilling new internet phenomenon is Dylan Wright, the town plumber, who also has secrets of his own. Just wait for the shenanigans... it's Tickled Pink after all!
I love the town of Tickled Pink and I was happy to go back. This book took a little longer to grab me, maybe because of my intense hatred for the way Tavi is treated by her family. We soon discover that Tavi's soul was never in danger of not getting into Heaven at all. Dylan is top tier book boyfriend material and you'll swoon over him.
You have all the signature Pippa goodness in this book and you catch up with all the characters in book 1. Though technically you could read this as a standalone, reading book 1 will situate you better with all the Lightlys and their cooky and evil ways.
Fun read as always!
Possible triggers: toxic relationship with family, body image issues, self-worth issues
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you, Pippa, NetGalley and Montlake for the copy.
It was so good to be back in the Tickled Pink universe, I constantly think of The One Who Loves You and I knew Rich in Your Love would be just as good. I was blown away by Dylan and Tavi.
Tavi is full of secrets that are starting to drown her after her grandmother forces her to move to a small town to keep her trust fund. It doesn't take long for Dylan to recognize similarities in her and they become quick friends while Dylan attempts to get over his best friend.
What I did not expect was how much Dylan saw Tavi and how emotional his POV would make me because when he was thinking of her, I couldn't help but love him. Tavi is lovable and her POV and her monologues are hilarious which is what brings the usual Pippa humor into the story!
I hope this isn't the end of the Tickled Pink series!
Rich In Your Love was a beautiful story full of everything that makes Pippa Grant the Queen of Rom Coms! The second book in her Tickled Pink series, Rich In Your Loves follows Octavia as she navigates this purgatory Gigi has forced the family into. Early on we learn that of everyone in the family, despite her outward facade, Tavi is the least in need of redemption. But since Gigi doesn't see it that way, Tavi still has to perform her forced community service. What better way than helping the local plumber boost his image?
Dylan is everything you want in a hero. He's kind, patient, and so sweet you might get a cavity! I loved the dynamic between Tavi and Dylan. He truly sees her for who she is and appreciates her in ways no one has before.
This is the perfect book if you're looking for something with a pound of humor, a cup of steam, and just the right amount of heart.
Will each seeing really who is the other enough to last past their scheduled time …
So we are back in Tickled Pink, with one of the most dysfunctional family I have read about since long. And while Gigi was not in my “grandma of the year” book after Phoebe’s story, here, I wrote her name immediately on my black list (to not say anything else, well to be polite).
Tavi had me wondering about who she was once she drops the facade, as in the first book, she was portrayed at first as a very superficial all look no brain influencer until we had a glimpse of a different woman by the end of the story.
The prologue sets her persona straight, she wears mask upon layers of masks, hiding her true self, so certain if she was to reveal her real personality, she would harm what she has worked for years to construct behind the scene.
She sees herself as lacking, pretty but not enough, with no business acumen as she has been told again and again, believing it is only thanks to her flighty social media figure she can attract the means to help other or to set her enterprise on the right path with her trust fund.
When she has been the first of her kin to have seen the wrongness of their way, to have set herself apart from them, donating her gain to charities, trying to better others life with her project to rehabilitate a cacao factory.
Until her Grandmother on a whims threatens everything to supposedly save their soul.
Dylan has been the proverbial bad boy his whole youth, and while he could have turned worse from delinquent to criminal, those around him never gave up on him, so he rebuilt himself to become the kind and nice fellow he is now. The one everyone can count on.
But at the same time, while changing his ways, he did not see himself falling for his best friend turned lover. Now years later, he understands he must let go of his feelings.
Both are two persons who experience or experiences two extreme lives. And while Dylan left his rebellious years and bad behavior behind, he still feels in himself as the young boy who acted wrongly, guilty of his bad behavior while Tavi lives part under the limelight and the life she longs for in the shadow. Why maybe he is able to catch when she is her real self or her media persona, when she sees him for the caring man he is now and not his past tumultuous self.
They are sweet together, but their pas-de-deux while cute is often a repeat of the same thoughts again and again about he is a no-body and she is not enough and the future is not for them to be together. Still the resolution of their dilemma, how will their romance last when he is a Tickle Pink much in demand fellow and she is needed in Costa Rica is lovely and moving.
4 stars
I wonder now if it will be Carter who is to be next or Lola?

I have been granted an advance copy by the publisher, here is my true and unbiased opinion.
Really great romance. I haven’t read any by this author before but will definitely be on the look out to read more. Pippa Grant’s writing is so funny in places and the characters jump out of the page. It was a great story and I thoroughly enjoyed the novel. Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for giving me access to an early copy of this book.
If you read Phoebe's book, The One Who Loves You, do NOT miss this one. Tavi, Phoebe's sister, is a beautiful cross between David and Alexis from Schitt's Creek. Dylan is not typical small town plumber. Their story is one full of empowerment and forgiveness.
If this had been written by anyone other than Pippa, I most likely would not have finished it as it took me some time to get into it. But Pippa has earned my love for all her books so I give her more time because I know she'll deliver a fantastic story in the end. Which she did!
This is not your typical Pippaverse book (which I admit I prefer), but this is well worth the read. Plus, there are some great quotes like, "Life is meant to be lived, not staged, Tavi."
I do hope that we'll revisit Tickled Pink again. I need to know more about Carter and about Lola.
I absolutely adored this book. Pippa has a way with characters that instantly make you invested into n their future, and the futures of those around them. When we first met Tavi and Dylan in The One Who Loves you there was an innate sense of connection. These two people were so very different in the way they grew up and yet so similar in the ways they want to help those around them. You really have an opportunity to watch them grow, embrace what makes them special, and begin to live life with so much joy for who they are as individuals. There is always so much going on in the town of Tickled Pink that will bring you joy as you explore all the side character quirks.
Can wait to watch the rest of this town unfold on a page. Cheers to Pippa on another successful book!
Maybe I wasn’t in the right mind frame but I could not get into this story. I couldn’t find any flow to it. I also had a difficult time with the MC”s. Tavi’s negativity was tiresome. Dyan’s personality was flat. Nor did I feel any romantic connection between Tavi and Dylan. This was disappointing since I really liked the first book in this series!
Rich in Your Love is the second book in the Tickled Pink series by Pippa Grant and currently scheduled for release on December 13 2022. You do not absolutely need to read the series in order to enjoy the story, but I do highly recommend it.
Secrets always catch up with you. The world knows me as Tavi Lightly, sugar-free social media influencer. But my true purpose lies in secretly restoring a cacao farm in Costa Rica. Unfortunately, to save the farm, I need access to the trust fund that my grandmother has frozen. She’s requiring me to do charity work in Tickled Pink, Wisconsin, and until I meet her ultimatum—no trust fund. So to Tickled Pink I go. My first grandmother-approved charity project? Helping local reformed bad boy Dylan Wright. He has secrets too, like how he’s hung up on his married best friend. Kick-starting his dating life is as easy as making him famous through association with me. Not so easy is the fact that we’re falling for each other. He belongs in Tickled Pink, and I belong on my farm. We might share our secrets with one another, but can we really share our lives too?
Rich in Your Love is exactly what I have come to expect from Grant. Well developed characters and setting with plenty of humor, fun, and angst to keep me turning the pages. I loved getting a better look at Tavi and Dylan, who I remember well from the first book in the series. I thought the community and family drama were handled well, and I liked that even the characters that I though were downright evil in the first book grew and developed right along side the characters I was rooting for from the beginning. I really enjoyed both Tavi and Dylan as characters- neither was perfect but neither was looking for perfect from others. Even with all the baggage they were both carrying around- the thought they each put into helping others and being better people than they have been in the past made me look forward to seeing where they would go next and do next. And, in true Pippa Grant fashion, the whole time I was just as engaged in what the secondary characters were doing and what would happen next to both the Lightly family members and the town. I an greatly looking forward to what ever comes next.
Rich in Your Love is another enjoyable read from Pippa Grant. Fans and many other romance readers, will definitely want to pick it up.
Rick in Your Love is book #2 of the Tickled Pink series by Pippa Grant. It is standalone told from dual POV with a happy ending.
Tropes:
✔️ small town
✔️ enemies to lovers
✔️ rom-com
Heiress, vegan/fitness and fashion influencer Tavi Lightly has secrets. She loves big macs! She donates most of her salary to charities and her true passion is a cacao farm in Costa Rica. But to fund it she needs the trust fund her grandmother controls.
The same grandmother who’s demanded she do charity work in Tickled Pink where she must put the super handsome town’s plumber Dylan Wright on social media.
It should be easy enough, but Dylan has secrets of his own. He’s not just ashamed of his past; has also been pining after his now married childhood friend. But as the two are forced to interact, he easily falls for the real Tavi and vice versa.
Although this is a rom-com and overall a lighthearted read, my heart did break a little for both Tavi’s family situation and Dylan’s past. The beginning was a bit slow and a little confusing (I did not read book 1 in the series), I soon found myself loving the small town, wacky characters and funny situations.
This is book two of the Tickled Pink series. Book one set up with series with the matriarch of the Lighty family and empire, Gigi, almost chocking to death. While she was unconscious, she thinks that she went to Hell, so she decides that she needs to save her family from that same fate. She figures that their way to salvation is to use the Movie, “Pink Gold” as the blueprint for their redemption. The movie was filmed in a small town in Wisconsin, Tickled Pink, so Gigi buys the rundown High School and forces her family to live there if they want their trust funds. Octavia, aka Tavi, is the middle child, and she is currently a social media influencer. She touts a vegan, sugar free, fitness and fashionable lifestyle. But Tavi has secrets, and she need her trust money to make her dreams come true. Dylan Wright is the local Tickled Pink plumber, and is dealing with overcoming his youthful indiscretions. One of Gigi’s tasks for Tavi is to help “sell” the town using her social media savvy. Tavi uses the hunky plumber Dylan as the eye candy in TikTok videos to generate buzz about Tickled Pink. Both Tavi and Dylan are very sweet characters, and the friendship and then love that develops, is a delight. If you want to read a nice, steamy RomCom, this is the book for you. I received an arc of this book from NetGalley for my honest opinion.
I liked Tavi's spunk and Dylan's kindness. I like them as a couple. But they (especially Tavi) spend so much time thinking about negative things that it is hard to see their relationship progressing. There are some very funny scenes in here, but the majority of the book centers around the message, "I don't trust anybody." I would have liked a better balance of fear and hope.
Pipa’s books are always fun and full of great character development and heart.
I loved this one. The characters are so reliable and the interactions made me laugh and sometimes feel sad for them. I did want to shout at both of them at times to grow up and make up their mind already.
The families and friends make a great addition to the story and some of the secondary characters picked up my interest more than I was expecting.
Swoon worthy romance story.
Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy through NetGalley
Looking for a romance to fill your heart with warm, cozy and swoony feels and make you feel all kinds of good? Rich in Your Love by Pippa Grant is your next read. Dylan and Tavi made me laugh, won my heart and I am in love with Tickled Pink with all its cuteness!
Tickled Pink has been invaded by The rich and famous Lightly family. As the matriarch decided giving this small town a makeover will heal their soul. And all Tavi want to do is to get her secret project of organic chocolate farm to get off the ground so that she can stop living this fake influencer life. But she is stuck here because Gigi has frozen her trust fund that she needs for her farm. Enter Dylan the bad boy turned nice plumber. Making Dylan a tiktok star may be answer to her question....but what about her heart?
OK someone tell me what is so enticing about rich famous woman with a heart finding love with a not so rich not famous gorgeous man from the small town..that I lose my mind over them every single time! I swear this is like dose of some kind of addictive substance to me. Tavi is a blast. She has two personality. The carefully curated on brand Uber bubbly personality. And the real one with all kinds of crazy wicked entertaining side. I love her big heart, her sassy ways, her witty style..like Dylan does. Now..he is a converted bad boy and damn his charm is such a turn on. We need more nice guys like him in real world who can also be bad when they want. A bit bossy. A whole lot of caring and protective and swoonworthy. Tickled Pink was an adventure for sure. The dysfunctional Lightly family made me laugh so hard and I enjoined their adventures so much! Dylan didn't realise that he needed someone to believe in him the way Tavi did and it was a novelty for Tavi to find a man who wants her for her real personality. It was a slow burn that will keep you engrossed in the page. I loved everything about the town and the colourful citizens. I Don’t know where time go when I was reading Rich in Your Love.
I reviewed an early copy voluntarily
Tavi is a super famous influencer and also secretly the owner of a cacao farm in Costa Rica. She is a super healthy, vegan social media star by day, and secretly a cheeseburger-loving, chocolate-making hot mess at night. She is cut off from her trust fund by her grandmother. The trust fund that's paying the employees on her farm. Then, she's forced to move to a middle-of-nowhere town in Wisconsin. Why? Because, in my opinion, her grandma is insane. She is being made to help make this town, where her grandmother's favorite movie was filmed, famous again. Her grandma thinks this family project will help "save their souls."
They move into the old, falling apart high school in town and are trying to return it to its former glory, as well as help the town become a bustling tourist destination again. And for poor Tavi, it's not going that well. So how does Tavi try and help?
Enter Dylan Wright. Dylan is the local plumber and former teenage nuisance who hasn't dated in years because he is convinced he is in love with his best friend. His best friend who happens to be married and starting a family. How is Tavi planning on helping him? By using her influencer skills to make him go viral on Tiktok.
She thinks that if Dylan becomes Tiktok famous, not only will people come to the small town of Tickled Pink Wisconsin, but they will be lining up for a date with the local sexy-as-hell plumber.
But what happens when the two get involved?
Rich In Your Love was a really fun and cute read. I give this one 3.5-4 stars. I think the premise of this book is really cute, and it's written really well. The book also had me laughing out loud at the banter between the 2 MCs. They have a great chemistry and from the very beginning, I wanted them to just get it together already!
This book isn't a story that will stick with me forever, but it's still a fantastic read for cozy nights where you just want to get away for a little while.
Tavi's family dynamic is insane and I felt bad for her because of the people she is forced to be there with. She has a shitty relationship with her siblings. Her father was basically absent for her life (there but not really present) and her mother is self-centered and I would say emotionally abusive. And her grandmother? She's just nasty. I don't know how else to put it. She's just mean.
In the end, everything comes together and works out for everyone. I always love a happy ending and was not at all disappointed in this book. If you're looking for some profound, life-changing read, this isn't it. But if you need to curl up and escape life a little, grab this book and pay Tickled Pink Wisconsin a little visit. (PS, I would love to know if this is a real place!)
