Thank you Montlake NetGalley for giving me the chance to read this Pippa Grant story, I loved the cover and title, but I did not connect with the story as much as I wanted. The beginning felt off and was difficult for me to get the hang of it. I really appreciate your giving me the chance to read this eARC, but after reading it up to 57% I have to DNF it. However, I would like to listen to its audiobook, maybe listening to the story would embrace me and take me with it.
Rich in Your Love by Pippa Grant
An interview with Pippa Grant caught my attention recently. It was refreshing to hear the author's sense of humor and outlook on life. My first instinct when her newest book Rich in Your Love became available on Netgalley, was to grab it. In this romantic comedy, a social influencer is the main character and the plot is lighthearted and hilarious.
Synopsis:
Tavi Lightly, is a well known social media influencer. Her true passion is in Costa Rica secretly working on her cacao farm. After her trust fund is cut off, Tavi is forced to relocate to Tickled Pink, Wisconsin, for her grandmother to do charity work. There she meets handsome Dylan Wright who is still in love with his married best friend. Could Lady Love help if she stepped in?
I laughed out loud as I read Rich in your Love. Pippa Grant's novel is fantastic and has a delightful romantic element to it. There is some sexual content in it and it may not be suitable for all audiences.
Rich in Your Love is available on December 13th.
(4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫)
Thank you, NetGalley and Montlake, for sharing this delicious book with me! Your kindness is appreciated!
I felt like I was missing a bit, being that this is the second in the series. Though I realized I avoided it because I'm not a fan of single parent storylines. But I'm a PG fan, so I still wanted to check this one out. And although there were the usual quirky characters, for a PG book, everything felt kind of...toned down. The antics, the steam, the connection. It took quite awhile for Tavi & Dylan to get together, and although you know Tavi is a good person because we get her POV, on the outside she seems incredibly annoying for a large part of the story. I didn't get why Dylan would still be trying to help her for as long as he did. Also did not agree with the unflattering brush his ex-FWB got painted with; they were both at fault, and I felt like I was trying to be convinced it was mostly her with the issues. I mean, he admits he was an overall punk. And it seemed like lightning-speed from him getting over the ex-friend to being interested in Tavi. Once the MCs are together, it picked up some, but that came too much towards the end for me.
A hilarious and heartwarming story about the families we are born into and the families we choose!
Tavi and Dylan are opposites in every way! She’s a fake influencer who “omg’s” her way in life and he’s a plumber trying to make up for his past! Only problem is…she more than she displays!
Tavi had been fighting for her place in the world and within her family for her whole life! It’s not until she’s in Tickled Pink that she discovers, she is more than enough! Now she just needs to find a way to fund her dream job and all will be right in het world!
Dylan is not impressed with Tavi though at first but time spent together shows him that he’s been going after the wrong things his whole life!!
I laughed, I cried but I loved every word in this RomCom!
I loved the first book in this series and so this one had a lot to live up to. Well, it delivered. Tavi is a wonderful heroine and Dylan is absolutely book boyfriend material. This is not an insta love story. The love between Tavi and Dylan takes a while to grow and it felt very real. I felt bad for Tavi, with all of her self doubt and the issues she has because of her parents. My parents were super critical when I was growing up, so I could really relate and I think a lot of people will relate to her struggles. 5 stars. Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy for this very honest review.
This is the second book in this series. It is just as good as the first.
Tavi Lightly should not be taken lightly. There is definitely more to her than meets the eye. The problem is because of who she is she can’t let anyone see the reason Tavi.
Dylan is the reformed bad boy. Doing all he can to change his image and keep his devotion for his best friend at bey. That is until he meets Tavi.
Both of these two are like being in a house of mirrors. Appearances can be distorted. Sometimes it’s a real challenge finding your way out. This is a story with a lot of heart and at times heartache.
I don’t do spoilers. It’s not fair to the author or the reader. If I tell you why read the book?
Do yourself a favor and take a trip to Tickled Pink. It’s like no where you’ve ever been. It’s so much more!
Received a copy for review.
I love Tickled Pink. I love a good redemption story. Although I’m not convinced that either Tavi or Dylan did anything that required redemption. They were both young idiots who did hurtful things. Tavi had too much money and no consequences. Dylan had no solid role models and too much anger.
This book had so many secrets and I loved that GiGi finally got told off.
I really hope we see more of their dad because I think he is not what they all think he is. And of course, I want to know more about Carter.
I am a big fan of Pippa Grant and I enjoyed the first book in the Tickled Pink series so was very happy to receive an ARC of Rich in Your Love. For now I've given it 4 stars (or 4.5) but I really do think I need to read it again to confirm if that sticks or whether it should change (to a 5 star).
As this book takes place alongside the The One Who Loves You, at least initially, we get to find out what Tavi was up to during that book which works really well. We also don't need quite so much background about the town and people as they're more familiar to us this time which I think helped me get into it quicker and enjoy it a little more than TOWLY. I unfortunately ended up dipping in and out of it over a longer period than I'd like (I mean weeks, due to work/personal reasons) which is why my rating might change when I have a chance to read it as I'd prefer over a much shorter period. Pippa's books are best devoured in a weekend I find and normally I can't put them down even when I have to!
For me, Tavi resonated as a character with her struggles with her family and fake life, and I absolutely adored Dylan. Their journey together was really interesting, with Dylan finally opening himself back up to life/love while Tavi is trying to keep her real life separate from her social media/Tickled Pink life. I loved how Dylan could really see Tavi and was so determined to get to know the real her. The Lightly family are as bad as ever but there might be hope for them yet. Are we getting Carter's story at some point? Part of me hopes so as he seems to be starting to redeem himself so it would be interesting to see what he could become (with some work on himself).
If you enjoyed TOWLY then you'll no doubt welcome the return to Tickled Pink with it's cast of interesting townsfolk and goats. If you haven't read TOWLY then I'd recommend reading that first but it's not essential. All in all, another enjoyable and engaging read which was as well written as you'd expect from Ms Grant.
Rich in your love is the second book in the Tickled Pink series by Pippa Grant. It features social media influencer Octavia „Tavi“ Lightly and the local former bad boy plumber Dylan.
Throughout this story you get to know both characters a lot better and finally also see a different side to the Lightly family.
This book for me started out slow and I could definitely see the chemistry between Dylan and Tavi from the beginning. I found it however hard to really feel this story. I can‘t explain it but it didn‘t grip me as much as the first book did and I got annoyed at most of the side characters and sometimes the actions of the main ones too. I love Pippa and her writing but sometimes her comedic style doesn‘t come accross very well in her book and just feels unneccessary.
I did still enjoy alot of things about the book and the characters.
3.5⭐️
I’ll admit it, I love Pippa Grant. I’d probably read the phone book if she wrote it. Continuing the series, Rich in Your Love is everything the previous one was, maybe even better. You have a Social Influencer who doesn’t believe in herself, a reformed Bad Boy who cant get over his love for his best friend and a Grandmother who controls the family. Add in a wacky town that dislikes but needs tourists, a chocolate farm and a haunted abandoned school, you’ll find love and the trademark Pippa Grant humor.
Maybe it's because of those original characters, the chemistry between them, the funniest and most witty situations or the magic of those Small Towns that she creates
.
Tickled Pink is no exception, in this town each character has a particular story that leaves you wanting to continue reading about every character
.
.
Octavia Lightly or Tavi as she is known on the jet set is a social media influencer as she tries to rescue a cocoa farm in Costa Rica in secret. But when her grandmother Gigi has a revelation and decides to move her entire family to the almost ghost town of Tickled Pink to take back the old abandoned high school with her own hands she must go with it
.
Tavi is forced to move in with her entire family and maintain the facade of the frivolous, hollow influencer in order to regain access to her trust fund and save the farm. But everything gets complicated when she has to create social networks for some residents, especially the sexy and grumpy plumber of the town
.
Dylan knows that there is something weird with the ligthly but especially with the way the famous Tavi ligthly acts when nobody is watching. They both agree to work together and share their secrets, at least some of them, while working together they can't help the attraction and feelings that grow between them
.
.
I always jump at the chance to read another Pippa Grant book, and I am never disappointed. I loved Tavi and Dylan and how they both got to the end of their story, this is a solid five stars for me

Thanks to Montlake and Pippa Grant for give me a copy of this beautiful book in exchange for my voluntary and honest opinion
Rich in Your Love (Tickled Pink #2) by Pippa Grant is a slow-burn contemporary romantic comedy told in first person dual POV. The story follows the relationship between heiress, vegan/fitness social media influencer, and secret chocolatier Octavia (Tavi) Lightly and small-town plumber Dylan Wright, who meet after the Lightly matriarch (Gigi) forces her family to relocate to the little run-down Wisconsin town of Tickled Pink so they can all learn how to become good people.
Tavi needs her trust fund to finance her cacao farm, but her grandmother is holding it hostage. Gigi’s making tons of crazy demands that Tavi must obey in order to “save her soul,” earn back her trust fund, and be released from Tickled Pink. Her latest assignment is to raise the town’s profile by getting the residents on social media—starting with Dylan Wright.
The reformed bad boy and plumber is drop-dead gorgeous, and Tavi thinks he’s the perfect person to attract outsiders to Tickled Pink. Dylan’s also single and hung up on a married woman, so if this helps him meet somebody, then Tavi’s done another good deed, and maybe Gigi will finally let her leave town. She’s not supposed to fall for Dylan—falling for each other is definitely not part of the plan. Will Tavi still leave Tickled Pink when she gets the chance?
I loved Dylan and Tavi’s story. As characters, they were well-developed, quirky, and relatable. On the surface, Tavi and Dylan seem like opposites, but despite opposite upbringings, underneath everything they share the same values. I loved how Dylan could see the real Tavi beneath the ditzy persona she put on for the world. Rich in Your Love is a sweet, fun, feel-good story, and I liked it even more than the first book. I’m not sure how long this series will be, but I’ll keep visiting Tickled Pink as long as the books keep coming.
Let me start off by saying I love Pippa Grant, and I LOVED this book. This is the second book in the tickled pink series, but can also be read as a standalone, I thought it was even better than the first one. This is tavi and Dylan’s story and let me tell you are there some curve balls in this one.. will they make this work or will they give up on each other
Another amazing Pippa Grant hit I had no doubt I would love it, but still just great. Loved Tavi and Dylan's story and I have a craving for taffy now😉
This story starts slow and in the beginning, I thought this book will be boooooring but all of a sudden there is a twist, and an interesting plot developed into a great lovely story with great characters. Tavi and Dylan are both in a situation that is not very colorful. But when attraction blows between them everything changes. Will they be strong enough to reveal their true feelings?
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley
This was such a sweet book. I love Pippa's characters and the wacky things that happen to them, but this one felt more realistic and romantic. I loved Tavi and her need to present one person to the world and keep her true self safe. And Dylan was a huge marshmallow of a hero. The plot had the right amount of conflict but mostly it made me smile. I loved these two and loved this book.
Rich in Your Love is the second book in the Tickled Pink series. Tavi is a social media influencer, and Dylan is the bad boy that none of us can really resist. I love Pippa's writing style and voice, and this book showcases it well with the dialogue between all the characters but especially with the chemistry between Tavi and Dylan. I haven't read the first book in this series, and I had no problem reading this one as a standalone. Now I will have to go back and read the first and hope for more!
Pippa’s books always leave me laughing and wanting more. Her characters come to life on the page and I love her stories. We all need Pippa in our life.

I didn't think book two in the Tickled Pink series could be as good or better as book 1 but I sure loved Rich in Your Love! I loved Tavi, she was so multi-dimensional in this book and so easy to love. The Town of Tickled Pink is rich in love, humor and crazy quirks that will make you wish it was real! Dylan is a reformed bad boy doing his best to atone for his poor decisions by taking care of his town people. And these two together are relationship goals!
I enjoyed this it was fun and easy to read with very little drama. I loved seeing the tension between them slowly build. I was fully invested in their happily ever after. It's the second book in the Tickled Pink series and can be read as a standalone. Looking forward to seeing whose story is next in the series.
