This had a Fake dating and “enemies” (they weren’t really so not sure that part of the blurb works). I was not getting much personality or chemistry from either Annika or Rav so it was only an okay read for me (2.5 ⭐️)

When I started this book I knew immediately I was going to love it. Fake dating and enemies to lovers tropes I am there. This book didn’t disappoint, I found it hilarious in some aspects and I found myself literally flaring through it as I was desperate to know how it ended. However I did find myself thinking in my head Annika Arab loves you how can you not see this!!

I requested this book because of the amount of great reviews it has and I'm so glad I did. This book completely surpassed my expectations in so many ways and I wish I already had the physical copy of it to put on my shelf!

After a year The family want to meet the boyfriend so she goes on a search for a fake boyfriend when she meeA good fake dating story.
Annika is a career woman and has no inclination to settle down and marry till her father falls ill and she tells her family she is dating.ts Rav her old childhood nemesis who is also looking for a fake girlfriend to go with him on company do`s.
Of course we know what`s going to happen as time goes on they become closer and closer and I loved the story on the way kept me reading to find out what happened to them.
Annika and Rav are great characters loved them both.

3.5 ⭐️ as always I loved the fake boyfriend trope, really well spaced out and timed throughout, felt the book flowed really well.
Mainly due to personal preferences just some of the wording and lack of spice isn’t to my taste but I would recommend to anyone who likes this trope and it was a great easy read.

This was a beautiful story that goes to show that compromise and choices can really work and what an opportunity to experience a traditional wedding! I might not have understood all the phrases but I enjoyed it immensely

Rav and Annika both need a partner to keep family and business contacts happy. Neither is interested in a relationship so they make a deal to pretend for each other. This is not exactly ground-breaking territory but it's an enjoyable enough story.

A really great, enjoyable story that will keep you hooked in from start to finish. The characters are easy to like and the story has a great mixture of fun and love.

We love an enemies to lovers trope!! And this hit the spot for that. Niki hated Rav for as long as she can remember, and a web of lies brings them together to pretend to be in a relationship. Obviously, you can guess what happens but it's such a lovely story.

I did find Niki infuriating at times when it was blatantly obvious what was going on (I imagine this was on purpose!) but I don't think she would be as naive as it is made out.

Overall, lovely book - lovely people, lovely storyline.

If you love novels that involve: Fake dating, enemies to lovers, grumpy dating happy vibes, look no further.

This novel is going for a cute light funny read. With some ramblings at times as Annika is unsure of this arrangement at times (which can be annoying but understanding) we see the long winded story of where Annika actually falls for Rav, the guy that her parents always used to show off about to make the children work more. It only makes sense. But they don’t actually know Rav.

So when they randomly meet as adults one day at a hotel and then they get to talking and have a purpose to spend time together it is only natural things start to escalate between the two.

Annika’s parents love Rav and are so happy she has found someone like him. A little background to Annika’s job: she travels as a consultant all over the world based on the projects she takes on she could be gone for months at a time. Annika goes on and on about her freedom and so forth but really, it isn’t freedom when you have to rely on people to hold your extra things so how is that liberating?
The main character is a little naive and immature in this way as shes very stubborn to believe that only her way is the right way and that she doesn’t need to do everything the way her sister has. Annika is hurt that everyone is trying to force her to do things in a particular way that is why she is very adamant in her decision to travel and be away from London / and home as much as possible.

Anyway, both of them manage to trick their families and work colleagues that they are in a real relationship. However Rav on the other hand seems to think he can plan every single moment in terms of how he can manage to find a woman to start his family that does not yet exist as he doesn’t even have a woman.

These two opposites manage to find themselves in a real romance. Dispute this novel being a bit repetitive on different topics at times it was nice to have a romance read at last if you’re going through a slump. So thank you to the publishers for sending me this novel in exchange for my honest review.

Really cute, light read, funny in all the right places. We meet Annika who needs a fake boyfriend to please her parents and that fake boyfriend Rav, needs a fake fiance to win over a potential business venture. I really liked this story, the characters were easy to love, the storyline was quick and well planned. Annika as a whole was well driven, clever and family orientated, where Rav shared these qualities too. They were able to trick their families and the work colleagues but they weren't able to trick themselves into believing the romance was fake. Loved the connection to the west Midlands, and seeing the characters travel to dubai was nice. The cover alone would make me pick this out as it literally looks like the stereotypical romance.

A complicated way to find love -Rav fell in love but had to convince Annika he was the one.This could have been an Indian movie which led you around a couple of bushes (Indian movies did this in the 70’s) there was even dancing and weddings involved before the inevitable.
A lighthearted summer read

This book was an easy quick read. It’s a light romance novel with enemies to lover trope.
Although it was above little holiday read kinda book it did disappoint me in some ways. With the south Asian set up I was expecting a little deeper understanding and cultural reflection in the book. The south Asian depiction was very stereotypical. And the story is pretty predictable throughout. It feels like a Bollywood film trapped in a book.

The Love Arrangement is a sweet fake dating romance, with a fiercely independent protagonist and her school nemesis love interest.

The book follows the story of Annika who is a travelling consultant, she's convinced herself that she's happy by herself and that relationships will never work. But when her father falls ill and she wants to reduce his stress, she tries to organise a fake boyfriend to convince her parents that she's secure and settling down. This is when she bumps into Rav, the man who every family held up on a pedestal as the perfect child. Rav signs himself up to be a fake partner, saying that it will be beneficial for him too as he wants to buy a business from a family-oriented couple. The Love Arrangement is filled with sexual tension as Rav and Annika realise that their relationship can have benefits beyond business and pleasing their families...

I enjoyed this novel, finding that it was very easy to sink into and be immersed in the characters' worlds. Both Rav and Annika are South Asian and their culture adds a further dimension to the novel, with weddings and family events taking place throughout their fake dating agreement.

If you're looking for a sweet romance with a strong willed protagonist and a brooding love interest, this is for you!

A love light romantic tale that I thoroughly enjoyed. Being South Asian and in my early 30s I could easily relate to the characters & huge parts of the story.

Ruby has depicted the south East Asian community and its expectations of the younger generation and how this has evolved over time.

Review:
I finally finished this book tiday! Not because I was procrastinating (for once I actually wasn’t procrastinating pls can you all be proud mums thanks :) ) but because I’ve just worked 9 days straight 7am-9:30pm honestly I’m dead; but also I love my job and doesn’t actually feel like work (I am very lucky🥰). Also this ties into this book as our marvellous fmc is in love with her work and uses it as an excuse to keep her from settling down. Like most of us (me especially I feel Niki a lot) she had a few bad experiences with long-distance relationships and has used them as a way to bar her heart and then her dad has a health scare and she NEEDS to have a boyfriend to help ease his worries.

Then we have Raij the boy next door who everyone’s parents compare them too and who Niki despises who offers her a proposition she can’t turn down (eeek🥰).

I really enjoyed this book, it was an amazing insight into a sliver of Indian culture and honestly felt like Niki was my friend and we where just having a chat. Although slightly repetitive at times I thoroughly enjoyed this read! And I’m hoping for a sequel involving Greg🙏 so incredibly thankful for the opportunity to be an arc reader🥰

perfect fake dating, rivals and forced proximity book ! Even With all the troupes which are in this book, it doesnt fall flat and I found myself consuming this book so quickly. 
 
It's nice to see a novel that has a female main character who doesn't want the traditional settle down, get married and have kids, I love that Nikki is career driven and loves her independence to travel. Raj is such a gentleman and you can tell there is chemistry between them both. It's nice to see a main male character who falls first and also was the one to work around nikki's needs and career.
