A nice easy read on the somewhat old theme of a pretend boy/girl friend. Interesting in that it was set an a partly Asian theme and I enjoyed reading about the wedding traditions. Annika was just a little too self effacing at times, and a little too rigid in her ideas. But altogether she and Rav made it through , pushed somewhat by family and friends.. Id like to know what happened to Tinu, she seemed to disappear.
Thank you for a chance to read and review this book which was very enjoyable.

Thank you ver much for the privilege and honor to review this book. I absolutely adore HQ titles and I’m sure this one will be no exception. I love fake dating troupes and I feel this will be a great one! Full review to follow on here and the blog. I love the childhood nemesis to lovers theme. Very excited to dive into this!

I do love a fake dating trope storyline when done right, and this one didn't dissapoint!

I thought the book was well written, with a good plot and a super cute MC that had me swooning all over the place!

Both the MC and FMC had a good chemistry and the author did a great job of upping the angst as lines became crossed once their feelings changed.

Annika frustrated me in her choices at times though! I wanted to be that girl who pulls her aside in the ladies toilets after afew too many wines, and says, 'Babe, open your eyes. That man is crazy about you!!' 😂 Honestly the woman made me want to pull my own hair out 😂

But, all in all, this book was pure escapism at its best, and If I had to describe how this book made me feel, I'd say happy. 🎇
