What can I say! Lisa Regan has done it once again. I’m seriously running out of things to say about this series. It’s thrilling, authentic and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next. I highly recommend this book and all the previous ones in the Josie Quinn series.
Thank you to Netgalley and the author for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Detective Josie Quinn and her husband Noah are coming home from their long awaited honeymoon. It’s foggy and they are looking for a place to pull over on a winding mountain road when a teenage girl runs in front of their car and disappears. They soon discover another girl has been murdered and the male suspect is on the run.
The search is on for the missing teenager. As they investigate, it seems like the teens may have gotten in over their head with something big. This soon turns into a much larger case as others end up dead & tortured. Who is after this girl and what do they want. Can Josie find her before it’s too late.

This is another great read by Lisa Regan. I can’t wait for the next installment.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, from Bookouture and #NetGalley. Thank you for the opportunity to preview and review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

Lisa Regan's Josie Quinn does it again in Local Girl Missing. I didn't put it down, read it all in one sitting. With a well developed back story, a cast of characters, you can't go wrong here.

Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for the copy of Local Girl Missing. Another five star read for my beloved author, Lisa Regan! She has continued the impossible feat of keeping a series alive and thriving for 15 books.

I jumped right in to this book and didn't stop until the end. I was happy to start the story by finding out that Josie and Noah got to go on and enjoy their long awaited honey moon. That started this book off on such a good note for me because I love their relationship! From there, the book just got better.

Lots of twists and turns and "ah-ha!" moments for me in this latest installment. I am a huge fan of Lisa Regan. How does she keep doing it? I am just so happy to keep reading this series!

Thanks to Lisa and Netgalley for allowing me to read Local Girl Missing.
This is a difficult book to review without giving away too much.

It is a story of secrets, lies and half truths, all hidden in plain sight, if only anyone looked for them.
Can Josie overcome her own disturbing experiences and work out why a seemingly respectable married man with a new baby would attack a teenage girl?

There are plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader turning the pages.

The latest case Josie and her team are working starts out with you on the edge of your seat. As the investigation continues on throughout the book it takes so many unexpected twist that the conclusion is not what you'd thought it be.

Loved that Josie and Noah finally got to go on their honeymoon. As per their life, on return from said honeymoon they are literally thrown right into their next case. But they are a well oiled team now just transition right into the investigation.

From the opening scene of finding one girl dead, another running for her life and the killer jumping from a cliff your on a crazy ride that winds so many directions you really have no clue what's going on. Great series cant wait to see what's next.

The fifteenth book in the Josie Quinn series finds Josie stumbling upon the murder of one teenage girl and another one who is missing. As she tries to find the missing girl, she also is trying to figure out why all of this is happening.

This wasn’t my favorite Josie book because the mob was involved, and I tend not to like books as much when that is part of the solution because it feels overdone. However, this did turn back around more so it wasn’t as mob focused as it initially seemed! There was a good twist and as always, a solid mystery.

I received my copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Absolutely love this series of books, and this latest instalment does not disappoint. Had me gripped from the first page, with plenty of twists and turns! Definitely worth reading

Once again Lisa Regan hits it out of the park! Each time that I start a new Josie Quinn I wonder if this will be the one that doesn't feel original and hold my attention. Well, 15 books in and it still hasn't happened! Investigations and family/friend dynamics just get better and better. This is a layered and twisty story. Just when you think you know ... you don’t. Local Girl Missing can be read as a stand-alone because the case itself isn't personal this time around, but you will be missing out on the dynamics of the characters and their backgrounds. The whole series is excellent and definitely worth your time! The story starts strong and continues to stay that way as you wonder what is really going on. As always, there are plenty of twists and turns to keep you turning those pages late in the night. The writing flows and there is just something about the style that makes it very hard to put down. Not to be missed!

Yay! An enjoyable mystery, police procedural, whatever, a good read! I like Josie and her new husband, Noah. They are detectives returning from their honeymoon, only to drive up on a murder scene during a heavy fog in the mountains of Pennsylvania. Great characters love the good guys, and the bad guys are nasty; and will stop at nothing to get back what they are looking for! I will not spoil it for you; read it yourself; you will enjoy it if you like British Murder Mysteries or Scandinavian Mysteries; both are great, as is this story, as it twists and turns like roads on a curvy Mountain Road.
I highly recommend it! Thank you #Netgalley #LocalMissingGirl

I simply cannot say enough good things about this series. 15 books in and I’m still so invested…these characters are phenomenal, and Regan’s ability to bring them to life more and more with each book is just so impressive. The intricacies of the cases they investigate are just top-notch; Regan is a crime fiction beast and I’ll read anything she writes!

Thank you kindly to @NetGalley, @bookouture, and @lisareganauthor for the gifted eARC!

Local Girl Missing hits shelves on August 11th!

Here we are at book #15 and since I have no self-control I read it too fast and will have to wait and wait for the next book. This series is so great and Local Girl Missing keeps you guessing until the very end. It starts with Josie and Noah driving home from their honeymoon and a girl runs in front of their car. They stop but she has disappeared. There's no trace of her, but her friend is dead nearby. Why would someone attack two teenage girls and where did the other girl go? A great book keeps you up at night, turning the pages until the very end, and it seems like every book in this series does just that.

100% pure pleasure of a read!
It’s always a joy to pick up the next instalment of the Detective Josie Quinn series and this one was a cracker ! Loads and loads going on and full of unexpected twists Lisa Regan just pulls you into the story right from the off and as always I was gripped both with the plot and being back with all my favourites in the team.

It's no secret that the Detective Josie Quinn series is one of my favorites and it's one that I've been following from the very beginning. I do a little happy dance every time a new sequel becomes available, because this series hasn't failed me yet... Local Girl Missing is already book number fifteen and the feeling of having a shiny new Josie Quinn hanging out on my kindle never gets old. And to make things even better: of course this sequel turned out to be yet another brilliant read!

Before I continue, I have to warn you that this is a series that focuses a lot on the personal development of the characters as well as the investigations, so it's important to read the books in order both to understand what is in play and to avoid spoilers. Local Girl Missing can be read as a stand-alone because the case itself isn't personal this time around, but you will be missing out on the dynamics of the characters and their background otherwise. Plus, the whole series is excellent and definitely worth your time!

Like I said, the case in Local Girl Missing is less personal this time around, giving you a little breather from the previous sequels that definitely hit hard. This doesn't mean that the case is less intense nor that there is any less danger and action along the way... The story starts strong and continues to stay that way as you wonder what is really going on. As always, the story moves fast and there are plenty of twists and secrets to keep you busy as you keep turning those pages. The writing itself flows naturally and there is just something about the style that makes it very hard to put down. Add some twists I didn't see coming at all, and I reached that final page before I even realized it.

All in all Local Girl Missing turned out to be yet another engaging and highly addictive detective thriller sequel of a series that is hands down one of my favorites. Things can be said about the credibility of it all, but Local Girl Missing is well worth the read for its entertainment level alone! Especially if you like your detective thrillers fast and on the intense side.

Loving this series!!! A pulse-pounding, absolutely gripping and totally addictive page-turner that will have you racing through the pages and reeling at the twists
Hold on to your hat and don't kid yourself that you'll be doing anything other than reading on the day that you start this one. Also, don't be thinking that you'll suss it out.
Top marks

Local Girl Missing is book # 15 in the series about Detective Josie Quinn by Lisa Regan. Josie and her husband are on their way home from finally having a honeymoon, when a new case starts by a young girl darting across the road in their path. I enjoy this series and Local Girl Missing does not disappoint. Ms Regan seems to get better and better with each story she tells.

Another brilliant book in the Josie Quinn series. Not sure how but this series just keeps getting better, how you can make an already brilliant series better is amazing. A great intense storyline with plenty of twists and intrigue I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I love the characters and Josie and Noah’s relationship is so sweet. I 1000% recommend this book and series, if you haven’t read it you are missing a treat. Can’t wait for the next instalment. Bravo Lisa Regan!!

Finally Detective Josie Quinn and Lieutenant Noah Fawley have been on their honeymoon and it was wonderful. Unfortunately that can't be said of the weather awaiting them as they return to Denton. Driving at a snail's pace they gradually get closer to home but then a young woman runs in front of their car before disappearing into the dense fog blanketing everything.

The scene awaiting Josie and Noah once they stop to try and help becomes their next investigation but initially at least it is difficult to understand what happened and why. With everyone looking for a missing witness it becomes clear they are also searching for a ruthless and determined killer who seemingly recognises their next target just before the Denton PD. Finally however, as things begin to clarify, it is Josie and her team who have to watch their backs before time runs out for everyone involved.

Each time I begin a new Josie Quinn mystery I wonder if this will be the one to slip just a little. Fifteen books in it still hasn't happened instead, amazingly, the investigations and characterisation just gets better and better. The little details of everyday life are merged with page turning action as brilliantly as ever and I sped through this in two very satisfying sittings.

I was able to read an advanced copy of this book thanks to NetGalley and the publishers but the opinions expressed are my own. I thoroughly enjoyed this excellent read.

Josie Quinn,… Once of these days you are going to be the end of me!! 😊 (but I still love you 😉)

OMG, being a detective is a great job and a hard one at the same time.

On the one hand you want to save lives and sometime this means taking risks. Risks that could easily get you hurt or even killed. I guess that is something you know from the beginning but still hats off to all those brave men and women who try to keep us safe each and every day.

On the other hand sometimes it’s maybe better to wait for backup in order to keep yourself and colleagues from getting in some precarious situations…

Often though you don’t get a lot of time to decide what to do and you just go with what seems best.

One guess in which of both categories Josie Quinn can be found. 😊

No baddy is safe in Denton. They can squirm their way through the meshes of the net. Josie keeps going after them. The meshes of her net are becoming smaller and smaller until they cannot get through anymore. She releases her catch in an aquarium called prison.

Sometimes you wonder: are there still honest people out there? Are there still people left without an agenda? Are there still people who care about anybody else but themselves?

The author has given me a few hours of very thrilling reading pleasure as per usual. 😊

Book 15 and this series is still amazingly good. Am I looking forward to book 16? You bet I am. 5 stars

Thank you
