I am really enjoying this series, so this is book 2. It took a few pages to get into as it picks up where book 1, Self/less finished and there is no recap at the start to help you pick u p the thread.
Teddy is now the leader of the underground, and her clan needs protecting from the City’s clutches. With the help of the new boy Hunter (who claims he is from the Outside, a place beyond the City and one they were told doesn’t exist,) Teddy must return to the City under a new disguise and falsified papers. Hunter and Teddy are partnered and while she is looking for her mother and ways to help the underground, Hunter is looking for his brother.
It’s a great read and as did the first book it ends on a cliff hanger. It also is still a series safe to recommend to people who are buying for their teens.
