The book follows the story of two brothers Brian and Ryan, identical twins, to me more exactly. A lot of twists as they go through the years. They do what ever identical twins would do: switch places on many occasions. Until one day when one business goes wrong and one of the twin disappear.
The plot is intriguing enough to make you continue to read. The storyline is a bit rushed for my taste, and the action is all over the place in some parts of the book.

I would rate this book 3 1/2 stars out of 5.

Can you imagine growing up with an identical twin? You look so much alike that your own Mother cannot tell you apart. As you grow up you decide to have a little fun with this as no one can tell you apart you take each other's test, you may share a date and change out in the middle of it and this little game continues into adulthood. Now you share each other's jobs and families to break up the monotony. You have to keep notes so you two do not blow your cover. But this little game may end up with consequences when one of your business dealings goes bad and now it may have resulted in your twin's disappearance. So, this is the premise of this story. It is a quick read but at times it feels the story line is a little rushed and to many twists just thrown in, where it may have been better if the author had developed the story or situation a little better.

I love books about twins, its one of my favorite book tropes. This book unfortunately didn't wow me. Don't get my wrong it was a great little thriller but I felt it could have given us much more. The best part of the book was the twins backstory and childhood. I loved seeing all the antics they got up and how they swapped places. The mystery of one twin going missing was a fabulous set up, however this never really got resolved in a satisfying way. I felt a bit unsure if this was supposed to be a character focused drama or a thrilling mystery as neither really got there for me. The timelines is a little confusing and rushed, often jumping very large periods of time. I also would have preferred the twins to have less similar names (Brian & Ryan) as I found this made me often confused which was which (particularly when I was reading it with text to speech turned on as both sounded similar when read aloud). I assumed this was intentional for the author to show their similarities and how they didn't really have a separate identify, it just got a little confusing for me. Overall, I found this to be a quick read and while it may not have been amazing, there was enough to like about this one that I would definitely read more by this author.
