This book is exceptional. It provides hope and help for educators, parents, students and adults struggling with "learning challenges" like Dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, Dysgraphia, poor social skills and more. Take the Stone Out of the Shoe provides this information in an easy to understand and easy to apply way, with significant research backing it up.

There are many strategies for supporting students struggling with reading, math, comprehension, spelling, memory, attention and focus, organization and Executive Function; skills to help one manage organization of ideas, getting homework done, starting new habits, building self esteem . . . It's a gold mine!

I am a former elementary school teacher, and the material in this book would have helped so many students and families—I'm grateful that the information is now available to help students and adults "take the stone out of their shoes." Read this book. Apply the strategies in it, and give it to anyone you know who suffers with these issues.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me review this book. This book had some good tips on adhd, dyslexia and dysgraphia to name a few. I plan on trying several of these tips in the classroom.

This book looks at how to enable AdHd learners rather than identify them or pigeon hole them. A valuable sideway look at a frustrating scenario showing whta the art of the possible is.
It wasn’t as accessible as I had hoped but some great insights
