A really well done friends to lovers romance, this is an angsty, read full of chemistry. Slow burn 🔥💘
With amazing, interesting and realistic characters. Really enjoyable. ✨️
This was a good book. I'm normally not a fan of parents with kids in romance books but I actually thoroughly enjoyed this book. I think that the writing was good and the characters were likeable. The plot flowed very well and I just think I was missing a spark to make me rate this book as a 4. Like as much as I think the pacing and flow was good I think I just wanted more romance between our leads and I think the ending was a little rushed with the conflict and feelings etc.
Overall it is a good book and I would recommend. I will definitely be trying more of this authors books.
A brilliant read and one I really enjoyed. The characters are loveable and varied, the plot is one that is engaging and medium paced. I found myself completely drawn into the story and enjoyed the writing style.
A slow-burn ,friends-to-lovers romance, this heartwarming story charts the issues of finding love after divorce, the pitfalls of internet dating, and the difficulties of single parenthood. There is lots of romantic tension, plus some lovely descriptions of the setting - escapism at its best.
Maya and Sam are both single parents navigating dating apps. A great read. I liked how it is told from both points of view.
This is a good book. The two main characters are Maya and Sam. Maya is a divorced mother of two children, a mobile makeup artist, and starting to date. Sam is a widow with one daughter, an engineer, and who is starting to date. Maya’s daughter and Sam’s daughter are best friends. Maya and Sam start out as friends but later start dating and fall in love.
Good read. Great characters, enjoyed the setting, lots of side stories weaved into it and it flowed really well. A good read for a rubbish day. Will make you feel better!
An utterly enchanting and emotional novel about love and romance. The author manages to infuse a thoroughly evocative atmosphere into a page-turner plot The overall feeling from reading this book is like being enveloped in a warm hug from that special someone in your life.
Sunsets and Happy Ever Afters
What a sweet book! Both Maya and Sam are unlucky in love. Sam, a widow, hasn’t had the best time on dating apps and Maya, recently divorced, isn’t having much luck either. Both living busy hectic lives, when their worlds start to intertwine. First through their daughters then by a magical holiday in Cornwall.
This is a charming and funny story but I think I found it a little hard to relate to, not having kids or being single but a lovely story all the same. I didn’t realise it was part of a series, I think I would have enjoyed it a little more had I read the others before but I didn’t need to read them necessary to understand this plot.
Perfect, easy read for a summer vacation!
Sunsets and Happy Ever Afters was a fun friends-to-lovers story, full of interesting, realistic characters and sizzling romantic tension. Maya (recent divorcee) and Sam (widowed for several years) did not have a storybook meet-cute. In fact, it was more along the lines of a meet-dreadful. Things were soon set to rights, however, and so began an unexpected, slow-to-burn love story.
Although there were some aspects of the story where I felt the author glossed over some secondary details, overall, the author's writing made this story come to life. Watching Maya and Sam and their amazing families grow closely together, it was such a satisfying and emotional journey on their way to enjoying those beautiful sunsets and, finally, a HEA.
My thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my own, unbiased review.
I absolutely adored the love story between maya and Sam. Really summed up how Internet dating can go.
Was very happy with how it all ended

this book was pretty good. Although there were some parts that felt slow, this book still makes a great summer read! i really enjoyed it!
💞Warm, realistic look at resuming the search for love👥
4-4.5🌟 stars
I thought Teresa Morgan did a first-rate job creating this contemporary romance. The writing's really good, easy to follow, steady paced, and the story is both romantic and family-oriented.
Take two very grounded, hard-working single parents -- one divorced, one widowed -- add internet dating, well-meaning friends and family pushing for each to climb back on the relationship train, and some great descriptions of fun and good family times on the picturesque Cornish coast. You end up with this novel which has a lot of heart and realistic ups and downs, with a slow-build connection on the road to romance. It made me eager to read more of Morgan's work.
Thanks to Sapere and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.
I always enjoy a Teresa Morgan book and this one is no exception. It's about love and finding love again. It is a really sweet story and all the characters are really likeable and the book is really enjoyable.
Chloe and Amber are best friends. Their parents at both single, Maya is divorced and Sam is a widower. They hate each other in sight, Sam has come to collect Chloe and finds the girls left alone covered in makeup, he is not impressed and doesn’t want to listen to Maya’s reasons why she left the girls. Both are on dating websites. It doesn’t take a genius to work out how this story will end, but with a little help with their friends and an online web account in the name of PeterPan, they all live happily ever after. A really great easy beach read.
what a fab holiday read!! was so invested in Maya and sams relationship as the trial’s and tribulations
would definitely recommend

This was a sweet easy read but didn't grab my interest as much as I'd hoped. Worth giving it a shot though!
