I have been reading quite a few books about belonging lately, mostly because I myself grew up in a nomadic lifestyle and still struggle to feel a sense of belonging in most of my communities. Somehow this book got lost on my kindle and I just found and finished it. Like others I’ve read lately, it spends its pages waxing eloquently about the need for belonging and with stories from around the world, instead of just helping people find belonging.

This is very timely (as isolation in various forms seems to be increasing across the US and elsewhere), and it's well-written. The stories, people, and experience described bring a depth and understanding to the topic that likely hit home with readers. Recommended.
