It took me a wee while to get into this book. In fact I wasn't sure I was going to finish it so I put it down, read another book and came back to it. I'm glad I finished it, it really improved as the book went on and I ended up enjoying it. It was entertaining, dark, a bit twisted and some good twists and turns. Overall, an enjoyable read.
This is a wonderful, fast paced storyline, that really drew me in. The characters were well rounded and unique and the authors easy flowing writing style made it an enjoyable read.
All the twists and thrills that you would expect from something in this genre.
Would highly recommend.
Thank you to the author, the publisher and Netgalley for my arc.
Thanks to #Netgalley and Silent Storm Publishing for the opportunity to read this book. I've really enjoyed all of Katlyn L. Duncan's books. #HerBuriedLives is more of my type of book. I love a good thriller.
I've been hooked from the beginning. I thought I knew who everyone was but I was wrong in the end. Great story.
Really really good plot and storyline with good writing and pacing. Would definitely recommend to other readers- I finished this in two sittings
Well written with a compelling storyline and well developed characters that were relatable and believeable. I was completely gripped and couldn't put it down.
For as long as she can remember, Jenny Miller has experienced intense intrusive visions. Plagued by graphic mental images of death and harm, Jenny is constantly on edge, always fighting to stay on this plane of reality. Until she gets one chance to learn if anyone else in her family suffered the same way.
When Jenny and her mother travel to a rural town to sell their legacy home, evidence of the past surrounds them and forces concealed secrets to the surface. But the more Jenny digs, the more she entrenches herself in a sordid past.
Soon after finding a hidden journal filled with disturbing messages, a local goes missing and the suspicions of the town’s sheriff turn toward Jenny and her mother. To prove their innocence, Jenny needs to come face to face with a killer who is more like her than she ever wanted.
With the clock ticking, can Jenny withstand her visions long enough to uncover the truth and save herself?
Read in one sitting really enjoyable read totally recommend

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, from Silent Storm Publishing and #NetGalley. Thank you for the opportunity to preview and review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.
An exciting, thrill ride from the beginning. Descriptive test, well-drawn characters, Her Buried Lives is sure to satisfy even the most discriminating palate.
Good read, desriptive and immersive. Good storyline and character development. I liked the lfow of the book and the authors style of writing, i was in the book from page one and struggled to put it down.
There's something about small towns and family legacies that lend themselves to uneasy feelings. Add a generational home and well-kept secrets and you've got yourself a compelling and gripping story that takes you on a thrilling ride.
Jenny's mother has always been quiet about her life "back home" and the family she left. Now that Jenny has the chance to go back to her mother's hometown, she's determined to get answers about her family and their history. Nothing is as it seems, not even Jenny's perception of the world around her. What can you believe when sometimes you can't even trust yourself?
This is a perfect read for anyone who loves twisted psychological thrillers filled with long buried secrets and unreliable characters. I loved every minute of it.
Very involved, there's a lot going on here but its easy to follow. Interesting and wee written characters. Dark in places. Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book
