Katee does it again! The Neon Gods series has been on my radar from the first book's publication in 2021. I love the spice in Olympus, and the spice surrounding the Thirteen. I just can't get enough of it!
In Radiant Sin, Katee brings to life the story of Cassandra and Apollo. It has the least amount of spice, in the series, but I loved it anyway. Apollo and Cassandra were exactly what I hoped they would be. In fact, Cassandra proved to be my favorite character in the series. Her confidence and overall feelings about the Thirteen were refreshing. I cannot wait to see what else Katee has in store for Olympus!

I enjoyed this book in the Dark Olympus series. The spy/undercover aspect was fun, I’m always down for a little subterfuge. Overall, this one felt a little less about the spice than the other books in the series so far. Not a bad thing, and it allowed for building the relationship in other ways which I liked. Definitely looking forward to more in this series!

I love Katee Robert books. This series is full of spice, mystery and suspense. The way she world builds is amazing.

I really loved Katee’s other books , but unfortunately I didn’t really connect with it. This was relatively slower paced in comparison to the others.

Whilst I loved the other books in this series a lot, I'm slowly starting to fall out of love with Katee who has been my favourite author for a long time. Unfortunately I didn't like Radiant Sin. There were way too many characters, I could barely keep up. I usually read Katee Robert's books because she's the queen of smut with little to no plot which I love, but this was too much plot and barely any spice. I wish I had loved it, but I don't. It's making me question if I even want to continue with this series...

As always, Katee Robert never disappoints. It's the perfect mix of spice, intrigue and love! The characters are always well rounded and interesting on their own but when they get together, the chemistry is off the charts. Robert's books are always such a pleasant read and will get you out of your own head for a few hours.

I really enjoyed Apollo and Cassandra's story but I felt that the surrounding character development lacked a little bit. I feel like more could have been done to capitalize on how power hungry and sleezy Minos is. I wanted there to be more creeping in the house and felt that it fell flat on the whole secret passages. The romance was steamy but wish it was a little more molten hot. Overall, I did enjoy this but wish there was a little more development in the plot.
On the other side, I hope Hermes gets her turn because I just need to see inside that head of hers!

Radiant Sun follows Cassandra who is a disgraced member of a fallen house. She is now working as an assistant under the powerful Apollo who is the city’s spy master. Apollo persuades Cassandra to assist on a spy mission (as his plus one) to gather intel in exchange for getting Cassandra out of Olympus.
The romance felt very rushed and underdeveloped, but the story kept me on my toes guessing what was coming next. Katee Roberts knows how to write a romance where you can go into it completely blind and still enjoy it.

Katee Robert doesn't disappoint! I love her characters, especially because they don't fit societal norms. These are real characters not wilting flowers who let someone else tell them what to do, how to act, or what to wear. I think this couple is one of my favorites, I love her determination in life to not repeat her parents mistakes. I highly recommend this book and series!

Katee Robert described this as her softest book in the Dark Olympus series, and in many ways it is. For me, the heart of the story is how Apollo takes care of Cassandra. I appreciated how sweet their romance was. While the story uses the fake dating trope, it felt fresh. In terms of the plot, I was happy to finally see Minos and his family make some headway in their plan. I think it adds excitement and tension to the future of the series. While this wasn't my favorite of the series, I have found myself recommending it to others because of the author's world building.

You can ALWAYS count on Katee Robert for a rollicking good time. But the PINING in this one was just straight up delicious.

This book was every bit as good as the first. I just loved Hazel. I was kind of crushed to discover that this is the final book! I'm seriously going to miss this world. I'll be keeping my eyes open for other stories from this author. The romance between Apollo and Cassandra was very soft and tender. Cassandra is prickly and Apollo is the definition of "boy obsessed". I LOVED THEM! And the spice we did get!? WHEW! I really loved this one and as always, I am eagerly waiting for CRUEL SEDUCTION to come out in August.

Y’all know I love a mythology inspired retelling and this is the fourth in a mythology referencing series. If you haven’t had a chance to pick up any of the Dark Olympus series the brief over view is that the pantheon of greek gods functions as titles for this city, and the names and relationships of these characters may or may not reflect their more traditional origins. This book builds on the plot of the others in the series, and things are starting to get complicated. But enough about that - y’all are here to about Apollo and Cassandra. Cassandra shies away from the public eye as a way to keep herself, and her sister safe, but she has been actively fighting her attraction to Apollo….. who might also happen to be her boss. When circumstances result in forced proximity Cassandra and Apollo must confront their feelings.

I love sinking my teeth into a Katee Robert book in-between those heavier reads.
She sure knows how to write a spicy scene! I devoured this one and now have to wait for the next!

This was a quick read and I like returning to this world. The main characters were good, and I did enjoy this book. It isn’t my favorite of the series but a good, quick, read.

I have enjoyed all of the gods of Olympus series books by Katee Roberts, and would honestly read anything she writes. Her books have the right mix of steam and romance. I enjoyed the premise of a weeklong party thrown by Minos, in which Apollo and Cassandra are forced to fake date. The story started off quick with an enjoyable storyline that followed a murder mystery scenario and managed to incorporate the minotaur and his labyrinth.
I felt that it lagged as the mystery went on, but I did enjoy the action at the end. Overall, a great addition to the series and I look forward to reading more by this author!

Another seductive foray into the of Olympus. Cassandra works for Olympus’s spymaster Apollo. The handsome, smart, and worse ( for her at least) kind gatherer of information makes it incredibly hard to keep her focus on getting her and her sister out of Olympus. Apollo is also hiding his own hidden desire for Cassandra, in attempt to keep from making her life harder in the shark infested political waters that is Olympus. The new Zeus makes it even more complicated by offering her enough money to make her dream a reality if only she’ll pretend to be Apollo’s lover at a week long retreat at the newest threat to Olympus’ home. Can these two uncover the hidden threats and watch each other’s back without losing their hearts? While I enjoy the electric charge of her steamy glimpses of Olympus, Roberts has crafted a beautiful story with heart without losing any steam. The underlying mysteries get a push in the bigger story of the novel’s as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
** Thank you Netgalley for a chance to read the ARC**

I've always loved the dark Olympus series but I think Radiant Sin has become my all time favourite! Anyone who knows me knows I absolutely adore a good mystery! Having the dark political intrigue and romance of this series mixed in with a good mystery was just perfect for me!
Cassandra is definitely tied with Persephone as my favourite protagonist of the series and Apollo is also pretty closely matched with Hades. The thing that really got me here was the plot, I was on the edge of my seat with every page and the ending has vastly changed the trajectory of the series! I am dying for book five!!!
*Thank you so much to Netgalley and Katee Roberts for an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review *

Katee Robert really has a hold on me with these modern retellings and when I found out this book was going to follow Apollo and Cassandra I was pumped! Also throw in the fake dating trope and I was sold. Add in the fake dating trop and the high stakes and I was sold! I really enjoyed watching their relationship grow and become real. Also learning more about how Olympus works is pretty cool and I'm looking forward to seeing how that all develops later in the series!
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review!

The chemistry between the characters really stood out. I love how Katee Roberts writes romance, especially in this dark Olympus world she’s made.
