“You like hearing me talk, don’t you?”
“It’s one of my favorite things.”
Synopsis: Radiant Sin is a steaming hot modern retelling of Apollo and Cassandra. As a shamed member of a fallen house, Cassandra Gataki has seen what comes from trusting the poisonous Thirteen. But when the annoyingly handsome and kind Apollo asks her to go undercover as his plus-one during a week-long party hosted by a dangerous new power player, she reluctantly agrees to have his back. However, she has one condition: when it is all over, and Apollo has what he needs to protect Olympus, she and her sister will be allowed to leave. Apollo may be the city’s official spymaster, but his ability to inspire those around him keep him at the top. Despite what the rest of Olympus says or thinks, there’s no one he trusts more than Cassandra. Even as their fake relationship takes a wicked turn, a very real danger is threatening not only Cassandra and Apollo, but the heart of Olympus itself.
Thoughts: This book was such a fun read that fantasy romance readers will love: twists and turns, a spicy romance. Radiant Sin literally had my favorite trope of all time which is fake dating! But it has so many more I love: forced proximity, only one bed, boy obsessed, forbidden love, and so much more! The book was so addicting to read because I loved both Cassandra and Apollo. I really enjoyed their dynamic and banter, especially those spicy scenes!! The only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars is because I hadn’t read the other books (I plan too) so some things about how Olympus and Thirteen worked, that took me a little bit to fully grasp. This was my first book by Katee Robert and I highly recommend it! I am running to go get all her other books and start them ASAP.
This book includes:
-fake dating
-forced proximity
-forbidden love
-only one bed
-plus-sized heroine
-boss/employee
-boy obsessed
-slow burn
4.5/5 stars
3/5 spice
Thank you Katee Robert, Sourcebooks Casablanca, and NetGalley for providing an arc for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this book star to finish. This book really is a turning point for the series because you really see the plot THICKEN! I was absolutely riveted as mysteries started to be solved.
I am obsessed with Cassandra. She is unapologetically confident and not afraid to speak her mind. It was such a nice breath of air to have a female lead who is happy with who she is and has little to no self-doubt. That brings me to Apollo, who is completely head over heels for Cassandra and love her exactly for who she is and not who she has the potential to become. I thought they were an excellent match.
I would classify this book as a slow burn and 2.5/5 on the spicy scale. It was definitely sweeter rather than spicier overall but I did not hate it.
This book combined plenty of pining, cinnamon roll characters, an intriguing mystery, plus a regency- style house party which when combined together easily catapulted this book to my favorite in the series and one of my favorite reads so far this year.
I absolutely can’t wait for the next book to come out – especially with the setup we received in Radiant Sin!

What I Liked: I really enjoyed the concept and setup for this story, taking the locked room mystery trope and writing a romance using it. Putting Cassandra and Apollo into a situation fraught with outside tension ratcheted up the sexual tension between them. Cassandra herself was a great character and her motivations were clear. I liked that she would do anything for her sister, even put herself into danger. As is expected in a Katee Robert book, the sex scenes were interesting and added to the story. I also enjoyed seeing some of the characters from the previous books make an appearance and hope this continues throughout the series.
What I Didn’t Like: This has been my complaint with the other books in the series and the same thing happened with this book: I find the world and the immense amount of characters confusing. Especially when a character has a name and then their name changes when they ascend to be one of the Thirteen. I don’t think enough time is spent away from the Thirteen to understand their motivations and how the bigger world works. As much as I liked the romance between Cassandra and Apollo, I felt that Apollo was underdeveloped as a character. And that’s a shame because what we learn about him is interesting! I liked that he was portrayed as one of the only decent members of the Thirteen and wanted to know more.
Who Should Read It: At this point, if you’ve read the other books in this series you’ll want to continue reading. Readers new to this world wouldn’t be completely lost but I would recommend starting with the first book.
Review Wrap Up: This book wasn’t the strongest in the series and I found the vastness of the world Robert has created to be confusing at times. Despite these issues, I enjoyed Cassandra as a character and the locked room mystery aspect of the story. I would only advise reading this one if you’ve read any of the others in the series.

If you are a fan of the Olympus series, Radiant Sin will not disappoint. Another solid romance full of heat and some intrigue.

This series has me in a chokehold and adding in that Radiant Sin is boss x assistant and I was already salivating.
Apollo and Cassandra had this push and pull that kept up through the book and coupled with the whodunit, murder mystery, we got to see a whole other side of the Thirteen and their world.
Another great addition to this world and as always Katee Robert does it again.

This was a good quick spicy read. I often read books where Apollo comes off as a prick so it was kinda hard to put that aside and think of this as a different Apollo but it was good.

Truth be told, Radiant Sin might be my favorite book in the Dark Olympus series. I’ve loved them all so far, but this one hit on so many of my favorites tropes and dynamics. It should come as no surprise that this book features a grumpy X sunshine dynamic between Apollo (obviously the sunshine) and Cassandra (a perfect grumpy heroine), but it also has a little bit of a forbidden romance (Apollo is Cassandra’s boss) and a fake dating scenario. Aside from that, you can also expect to see the “there’s only one bed trope,” a smattering of “good girl” praise, and a perfectly soft dom who knows how to straddle that line between firm and affectionate. Oh, and this is a Katee Robert slow burn, which means there's tons of tension and plenty of anticipation.
It’s easy to fall in love with Apollo. As a member of the Thirteen, his hands are cleaner than most. He longs to care for Cassandra, to show her that he can be gentle with her heart—but don’t mistake him for a pushover. He’s a practiced dominant, as good at aftercare as he is at commanding a sub to serve his needs. Don’t get me wrong—I love a brooding hero, but I can’t deny that Apollo was a breath of fresh air.
The other half of this relationship is centered on Cassandra. I love the grump X sunshine trope, and it’s even more fun when the grumpy character is a woman. Cassandra has a sharp tongue, and she rarely holds back from saying what’s on her mind. Her disdain for the Thirteen is well-known, and all she can think about is getting out of Olympus and away from her tragic past.
What I love most about the Dark Olympus series—other than the clever way Katee inserts subtle references to the original myths—is that the story is as interesting as the spice, and Radiant Sin pushes the plot forward in leaps and bounds as Minos makes his presence known in Olympus. He continues to be a mystery throughout most of his book, and his parlor games feel a little bit like they belong in a game of Clue—with the requisite danger nipping at everyone’s heels. The mystery was intriguing, and I’ll admit that I wasn’t able to see the whole picture until it was revealed right before my eyes.
Katee built a rich world with the Dark Olympus series, and each subsequent installment gets me more excited for the next, and that goes double for the forthcoming Cruel Seduction.

Characters Apollo & Cassandra are something else! The plot was good and this story totally had me shook and saying OMG quite a few times. Loved the shock value this story had.
Another fun sexy read from Author Katee Robert!

The fourth installment in Katee's Dark Olympus series, Radiant Sin tells the story of Apollo and Cassandra. I really love this series - they are easy to get into and each story stands by itself (but I love how we see characters from the other books!).
Radiant Sin isn't my favorite of the four Dark Olympus books, but I really loved the change in pace with the mystery plot. It also has the romance and spice that Katee's readers have come to expect, including one of my favorite tropes, fake dating (and only one bed). It was a refreshing take that Cassandra is not in a leadership position as well, unlike previous stories.
This was a quick and entertaining read, and I'd recommend it to anyone that loves the Dark Olympus books!

I love Katee Roberts's books, especially the dark Olympus series, and honestly, I didn't think the series could get any better, but I was wrong, very wrong, cause this book might be my favorite of all of them so far. I can not wait for the next installment, and this did not disappoint one bit.
Apollo and Cassandra were a great read; this was a slow burn with reverse grumpy sunshine, fake dating, and a one-bed trope, and I love everything this book gave me. I love reading this story; I love the intrigue this book created and seeing where it connects with the overall series.
I could not get enough of this story I love every second of it.

I have read two of the three previous Dark Olympus books and this most recent addition is scintillating and steamy. Also sultry, mysterious, romantic and HOT. I read it in practically one sitting and highly recommend.

This was a lighter installment to the Dark Olympus series. Apollo and Cassandra have worked together for 5 years and have been hiding their attraction from each other. When fate throws them together to attend a house party with the goal of obtaining important information for Zeus, they are forced to pretend to be a couple. The lines start to blur very quickly and they soon agree to give in to their temptations, at least temporarily. Both of them try to deny that their attraction has more to do with it than just lust and as the stakes of the house party are raised and danger seems to be around every corner, the couple must decide just what they are willing to sacrifice. As is a given with all of Katee Roberts books, this book is spicy.

Hot, Steamy and captivating, Apollo and Cassandra take on the worst, well almost the worst, Olympus can contrive as they find themselves at a very carefully contrived week long house party, where things begin to start becoming dangerous after only a few hours.
Apollo is charged as the Spymaster of Olympus to discovering who is behind the latest threat to the stability of Olympus. He asks his assistant Cassandra Gataki if she will come with him as his partner, She is shrewd, clever, efficient and has little time for the Gods of Olympus. All she wants is to get far, far, away from them and begin a new life with her younger sister.
Right from the beginning of this harebrained adventure, sparks begin to fly between Apollo and Cassandra, as they become more deeply involved in what is beginning to be a very sinister plot indeed,, far more deadly that at first considered.
Katee Robert has not disappointed in Radiant Sin but it is certainly not a story for the purists of Greek Mythology.

Thanks to Sourcebooks and Netgalley for this advanced copy!
I love Katee Roberts books, and this series is doing a lot and is a lot of fun, but this book was only kind of meh for me. It felt like a transition book, with an oddly paced plot and the heat level turned to medium.
But even with that being said, I loved how Roberts moves the overarching lot of Dark Olympus forward, with the introduction of several couples who take front stage in upcoming books, as well as a larger role for Hermes (yay!) and some of our favorite people reoccurring. I generally like Apollo and Cassandra, but I felt like I needed more from Apollo. He's fully in love? OK. I believe it more from Cassandra than him. But the two of them are great together.
I'll keep reading this series because its so great, but this book was a bit of a miss for me. Still, can't wait for the next one!

Greek Myth Retelling
Apollo and Cassandra
Book 4
The main story for the whole series is slowly coming together and showing more of what has been hinted at. I'm very excited to see how the next book goes.
"I don't care! I do not give a f*ck, Cassandra, I will not risk you. I will let this city burn before I put you in harms way."

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
I desperately need GR to develop half stars.
I think this is my second favorite book of the series after Neon Gods. I love a good who dunnit, and I can't express how happy I am to finally have read a man who wasn't so gratuitously the grumpy trope. Apollo was a breath of fresh air. Being protective and possessive without being archaic about it. And I'm so ready for more FMCs as the grump. Not to mention fat, not CURVY FMCs.
GIVE ME MORE FAT WOMEN WHO AREN'T THE BUTT OF JOKES BECAUSE THEY'RE FAT. Thank you.
Electric Idol let me down, and Wicked Beauty had me ready to give up on the series. I'm thankful I was given an ARC of this book because I genuinely don't think I would have read it otherwise.

The 4th installment of Dark Olympus is a departure from what we have seen in the previous book and really spends time setting up the rest of the series. While yes, there was the romance of Cassandra and Apollo, that was secondary to the main event of the intrigue and locked room mystery. I enjoyed Cassandra’s confidence and drive but Apollo was meh - the romance fell flat for me. I like the book for the buffer that it was but it’s set us up nicely for Cruel Seduction and I can’t wait for that release

I pretty much always really like Katee Robert books and this one is no different. The romance, the tropes, the characters--it all works for me within the main pairing/relationship. It's past that where things start to shake loose.
Katee Robert does a great job of blending myths into a familiar (if not completely modern) setting in a way that is entertaining and new. Using Olympian Gods as titles rather than straight up characters is one of my favorite things about the series. I do sometimes get a little fatigued with remembering who exactly is who, even with the character guide. And ultimately, there is a greater overarching plot but I have no idea what it is. Something about the barrier? The barrier seems to be some sort of magic even though there isn't really any magic in this world? It's confusing at times but I am here for the romance and KR always delivers. It often works out well enough by the end of a KR series so I do have hope but for now I'm a bit confused.
Cassandra is a really great character, Apollo is the best and they were perfect together. The blending of Cassandra the myth's powers with Cassandra from this story's intellect and abilities was really well done. All in all, still really enjoy this series, will most likely continue enjoying this series and definitely Katee Robert as an author!
Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Radiant Sin is the 4th book in the Dark Olympus series. And while the book can be read as a standalone, the context of why Apollo and Cassandra are working to find the truth about Minos is better understood by reading the proceeding titles in the series. Apollo and Cassandra don't interact that much with the main characters from the first three books, knowing how those characters fit in the world of Olympus City is helpful.
This is really the first slow-burn book that I've read by Katee Robert. And to be honest, it did make it difficult to get into the story as quickly as I did with the first three books in the series. You can feel the sexual tension between Apollo and Cassandra from the beginning. And it was driving me crazy that they were just stepping around each other!! But once they realize the inevitable, it was so much nicer reading their story.
There is plenty of intrigue, political games, and trying to figure out who exactly the "bad guy" is that it kept the story going. I started picturing Cassandra as a young Jessica Fletcher trying to figure out the mystery!! And I absolutely love how Cassandra is confident in her how body looks. It's so realistic to have the MFC being actually woman with hips, curves and *gasp* thick thighs!!!
Now, the wait is on to see what happens in Book 5.

It took a minute for me to get into this one, honestly, but once these characters wound up at the house party I was a lot more engaged with what the book was trying to to. In truth, if feels like the series is moving towards more overall world shakeups — which is interesting! — but it did mean that there were times the romance seemed to take a backseat to threading in important plot to further the Olympus elements and the shakeup among the Thirteen. I’ll be really intrigued to see how the next book plays out, especially given that it’s a foursome!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
