The author finally got the message right in deciding to end the series as she did and, as she says in her author’s note, making sure to point out that “Laura is stupid.” People will read this book and like it if they have read the others in the series as it is more of the same. For me, the relentless brand names, brutality by the male characters and idiotic choices by Laura were just too much.
