This was a sweet romance, it’s part of a series of interconnected characters. I haven’t read the others yet but It didn’t take away from the story. Jeremy and sarah are total opposites who find themselves attracted to each other. Both have a past that they are trying to get over. Sarah is quite a strong character and fiercely independent and is excited when given the opportunity to assist her producer. Jeremy is the grump to her sunshine. There is definite chemistry here
And makes it for easy reading.
I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I very much enjoyed this book. The ending came a little too fast, but I liked the excitement on the way there.
Career driven, scared from love, Sarah is on the path to her dream job. She is assigned to an assistant role in producing a renovation television show and if she succeeds, she will be in the running for several promotions. While on site, she meets Jeremy, a small town, local contractor who challenges her love-life choices.
Thank you to NetGalley, Nikki Kiley and Victory Editing for allowing me an advance eCopy of this book.

Jeremy and his brothers own a construction crew that has been contracted to do work for the Home Design network, in addition to a show they’ve already started. Then he meets Sarah, the assistant from the network, who he can’t help be attracted to.
This story had some potential. I didn’t read the other books in the series prior to this, but it was described as a stand-alone. I definitely felt like I was missing some backstory and some character info.
Overall, the writing just didn’t flow for me. It felt jumbled, repetitive, and was just tough for me to get into. I finished it, but only to see where the story might lead, and I was ultimately disappointed.
Quick Summary: Contemporary romance with a good dose of zing and a large amount of brotherly love
My Review: Resolved by Nikki Kiley was aces as a NA romance. This modern-day love story brought together Jeremy, a by-the-numbers good guy who had been burned by his first love, and Sarah, a no nonsense, career-focused woman with an unstable upbringing who was afraid to give love a chance.
About the Couple:
I really liked this story. From the beginning when Jeremy and Sarah met, they struck sparks off each other. Their playfully sarcastic jabs at each other served as a precursor to the hotness which was to come. The thing that worked for them was that they became friends along the way to completing the job before them. As they both worked towards stability in their relationship, they became partners.
About the Brotherly Love:
The whole family angle in this story was a huge boon. I adored the Chance brothers. The way that they looked out for one another and showed their love and support gets high fives from this reader. Also, I loved how they welcomed Sarah into the fold. All I know is that I am definitely interested in reading all of their stories. Bring it on!
My Final Say: This was a quick and enjoyable read. It served as a great introduction for what I hope will be a wonderful series. I plan to read every single book.

I absolutely loved this book! Amazingly vivid storytelling u won't be disappointed! What else can I say about this book?! NOTHING! Purchase & enjoy!!!!
This is the first time reading a book by Nikki Kiley and I really liked it!!
I loved both Sarah and Jeremy and the fact that they were able to overcome their trauma and learn from each other!
Overall it was a really good grumpy - feisty rom-com with an enjoyable plot!!
A twist on the usual romance. A TV show needs to be made and Jeremy is making sure Sarah is going to be able to nail her part in it. Sarah is great, fighting for her part in the company and wanting to get it all done right, she is really endearing, Jeremy is grumpy but cute and caring as he battles for privacy with his many brothers. There are a lot of characters in Resolved, there are lots of names from chapter one and it keeps on coming, I struggled to get everyone straight.
Resolved was my first Nikki Kiley book. And i easily can say that i liked her pen and this book. Enjoyable read. This book is a part of chance brothers. But you can read it like a stand-alone. You don’t have to read the other books in this series.
I want to start of with the characters, our FMC is Sarah, i loved her. She is cute but not gonna lie, sometimes she was annoying. But that’s ok. And then, Jeremy. I loved jeremy too. It was a good experience to see that they both cleansed from their traumas about wrong person and etc. When they both have the same trauma, same bad experiences it’s so cute to read.
Main plotline and storyline was good. I think that if you’re on a slump or etc, Ms Kiley’s pen is going to save you. I highly recommend it!
In Nikki Kiley's Resolved, Sarah falls for Jeremy. This is part of a series with interwoven stories, you do not have to read the others to read this book.
This was my first time reading this author and I found myself enjoying this fun romance with an easy to read opposites attract romance. I loved the characters (particularly Jeremy and Sarah) and I loved the storyline. I really enjoyed that the mc's were both scarred from past experiences, and that bought then together.
Overall I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys romances, opposites to attract romances and heartwarming love at the end.
