I have really enjoyed the Hedgehog Hollow series and learnt a lot about hedgehogs along the way. Jessica Redland doesn’t shy away from difficult topics and I love her writing style, there were so many twists and turns including a baby arriving, an old friend departing and Fizz needing to move forward from a difficult past. Samantha and Josh have made a safe haven for Darcie and Phoebe and Samantha’s kind nature has brought her many friends whose lives we have enjoyed reading about in this and the previous books. The three robins appearing on the fence was beautiful, reminding Samantha of Thomas, Gwendoline and Terry. All good things must cone to an end but I’m sad this is the last book in the series.

Lovely feel good book to read. It was a joy to read. Lovely characters. Great plot. The book was charming. Very well written. I’d definitely recommend this book lovely location. Perfect seasonal book to get you in the mood for the festive season.

I would thoroughly recommend this book (and the whole series) to anyone needing a lift, following as it does the heartwarming (but not unrealistic) lives and times of those involved in running hedgehog rescue facility Hedgehog Hollow.
This is the last in the six-book series based on Hedgehog Hollow, and many thanks to the publisher for access to the ARC. I've listened to a couple of the earlier Audible books, and enjoyed them - this was my first book read, and I enjoyed it immensely.
The storyline didn't pull back from some difficult issues, and the author acknowledgments at the end covered these especially well (including details of where to find help if the reader was affected by them).
Well done to Jessica Redland for her superb writing and character development throughout.

Whilst I'm usually a huge fan of Jessica Redland's, especially this series. This wasnt my favourite book of the series. It mentions some quite sensitive subjects which some readers may find hard to read about, Jessica Redland does mention this in the Acknowledgements.
I like that she included part of her own personal story in the book, that was a nice touch.
As always I also love the list of recurring characters and the little hedgehog at the start of each chapter.
It was sad Samantha's story has come to an end but I do feel all the lose ends were tied up nicely. I've enjoyed this series alot and I would recommend this series to other people but with the caveat that this book may be a hard read in places for some people.
Thank you Netgalley and Boldwood books for an early copy of this book

First of all I want to thank the publisher for sending me the ARC copy of the book.
This book is part of the Hedgehog Hollow Series, but even though I had not read the previous novels I was completely involved in the story. Besides, at the beginning of it, there is a sort of summary with a presentation of the characters.
The Hedgehog Hollow Wildlife Rescue Centre is experiencing its first Christmas and everyone is excited about. At the same time a lot of changes will happen in the various families and love twists.
This is an emotional reading I enjoyed a lot. Perfect to read at Christmas, it is like a cover and a cup of chocolate.

What a beautiful heartwarming final book in this gorgeous series. Thank you so much to Jessica and Boldwood for giving me the opportunity to read this.
I was so pleased to see what happened to fizz and Phoebe, josh and Samantha plus the other characters. Plenty of love, loss and emotional scenes in this one. Pretty much blubbed through it, happy and sad tears.
A perfect ending and one that gave the series the finale it so deserved. Beautiful writing and to see some based on Jessica’s life was emotional. Thank you Jessica for this stunning writing, so easy to follow and I felt so close to the characters, I wonder if we will get to meet them again one day. I hope so!
I have no words, truly special.

Jessica Redland is a favourite author, and I absolutely love the Hedgehog Hollow series, so Christmas Miracles at Hedgehog Hollow very quickly made it to the top of my TBR.
I enjoyed reading this book so much. I’ve been waiting to find out more about Fizz ever since she turned up at Hedgehog Hollow, so it’s wonderful to finally hear her story. And what an emotional, but ultimately positive one it is!
I also loved the further developments in Samantha and Josh’s story, and the way that Hedgehog Hollow has expanded. It’s so lovely to return to this group of characters, who feel like friends now, and to see so many of them thriving.
As well as all the above joys, this book was full of festive feeling too! It felt like a fitting end to what has been a wonderful series.
Overall, this was a wonderful story, a fitting end to the series, and simply a joy to read. I strongly recommend starting with the first book in the series, and reading all the way through. It’s such a brilliant and rewarding series!
TW: childhood sexual abuse (off page).
I was given a copy of this book, my opinions are my own.

CHRISTMAS MIRACLES AT HEDGEHOG HOLLOW
BY
JESSICA REDLAND.
So, this is our sixth and final trip to Hedgehog Hollow.
If you haven’t read the previous five books… where have you been? You can read Christmas Miracles as a stand alone story. There is a comprehensive catch up and character list at the beginning of the book. However, do yourself a favour, go back and read the whole series. You really will get the most out of these stories if you take the whole rollercoaster journey with the characters right from the beginning.
We join the gang a little time after we left them at the end of Chasing Dreams At Hedgehog Hollow.
Samantha and Josh are expecting their first baby, while all their nearest and dearest family and friends seem to be doing ok.
Of course, it wouldn’t be much of a book if everything carried on running so smoothly.
There is an unwelcome visitor to Hedgehog Hollow, whose only intention is to cause harm.
Samantha’s journey to motherhood isn’t as smooth as she’d hoped.
And as everyone waits for a new arrival, a much-loved member of the extended Hedgehog Hollow family prepares to say goodbye.
In this book, we also learn more about rescue centre worker Fizz. Her relationship with girlfriend Yasmyn is in trouble. A face from her past is looming large to make a reappearance for Christmas, Fizz must face the demons from her past. As her life is pulled apart, can Fizz rely on her close friends and family to help her get back on track and be the colourful, flamboyant, caring Fizz that they all know and love?
Christmas Miracles At Hedgehog Hollow, starts off as a delightfully engaging read, then BAM! JR throws in a grenade that I honestly didn’t see coming.
Never one to shy away from tough topics JR hurls some horrendous situations at her characters.
On more than one occasion in this book, I gasped and muttered an ‘oh my god!’ as things took an unexpected turn.
As always at Hedgehog Hollow, the story radiates warmth and just the most endearing sense of family and friendships.
It’s well written, with some edge of your seat drama, moments of raw emotion, love, tenderness, sadness and joy. Not forgetting the obligatory cute collection of animals.
So how do you end a series that has captured readers hearts and kept us wanting more. Well, you give everyone the ending they deserve, wrap it all up neatly and leave your readers full of all the feels.
It is of course sad to say goodbye to Hedgehog Hollow and all it’s residents, but it’s been a hell of a journey to get here.

With grateful thanks to Netgalley and Boldwood for a digital arc of this title.

A quick and easy read that I found myself picking up after a long day to unwind. The characters are beautifully written and I came to love them within the first few pages and was rooting for them all the way to the end. At times I wanted to stop reading because I just wanted the experience to go on for longer.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Jessica Redland does it again! A beautiful end to a fabulous series, the story took me through many emotions alongside the wonderful characters.
Sammie and Josh have extended the Hedgehog Hollow rescue centre, and are expecting their first baby. Can they make their way through the difficulties that arise to safely extend their family once more?
We also hear Fizz's story in this final instalment. Her background has been hinted at in the previous books, but this time round we get to understand her life in more detail. Can she finally resolve her feelings for Phoebe, or will events from the past stop her moving into her future?
Thank you to the author for bringing Hedgehog Hollow to life, I've loved my visits there and hope we hear more from the family in the future!

This is supposed to be the last book in the Hedgehog Hollow and ot does not disappoint. This is a fun Christmas tale with a little drama added in.

This was one emotional roller coaster read and I feel sad that it is the end of this brilliant series. I had to read this as soon as I was able to. I have listened to all of the other books in this series but with this being the last book I couldn't wait for the audio to come out. I am totally invested in Hedgehog Hollow stories and all of the characters, I loved them all.
Sam, is one of the kindest, patient, most forgiving person I've probably ever read about and I couldn't help but love her. Josh, her husband is amazing, he is so supportive and would do anything for Sam and their extended family. It's been brilliant to follow them on this journey of building Hedgegog Hollow. Once a dream of the late Gwendolin and Thomas, Sam is determined to make the rescue center work and succeed. With their baby due soon there is a lot to do and Christmas is around the corner but of course its not plain sailing.
Fizz is one of the volunteers at the rescue center and she is a breath of fresh air, so bubbly and seems carefree. I instantly liked her from the beginning of the series. I always hoped Fizz and Phoebe would get together but Fizz had a girlfriend...until now. She has been living with a terrible secret for many years and now is the time for that secret to be told. It must have been torturing to have kept that a secret for so many years but because of Fizz's bubbly nature she hid it well.
As they say, all good things must come to an end and much to my dismay this book concludes the Hedgehog Hollow series. I could read about Samantha, Josh, Hedgehog Hollow and all of the characters for a long time to come.
I recommend reading the series from the beginning, although the book does have a recap of the story so far, to really get the feel and understanding of everything and everyone you do need to start at the beginning. I have to thank Jessica Redland for such a brilliant series that has really touched my heart. I also now know things about hedgehogs I never knew before!

Christmas Miracles at Hedgehog Hollow is part. series of books, and I think if you read the rest of the series you would be pretty bored that the first 10% of the book is a recap of the rest of the series. Next point of frustration is how little of it involves Christmas, which makes the title misleading.
Thank. you to NetGalley for the ARC for an honest review.

With the flavor of a Hallmark special, this book focuses on relationships in a small English village both with our family, and the family we choose. Packing in birth, death, break-ups, traumas (new and old) and new beginnings, there is a lot in this short book. For someone who hasn't read the other Hegdehog Hollow books, jumping in was a bit hard - but the character summary at the front helped. I still felt like some characters didn't come together until too far in (e.g., Fizz) and others just weren't explained enough, but set at Christmas and with a backdrop of hedgehogs…I was often smiling! With a "happily for now" ending, each character is left with big issues resolved, but enough questions to continue the series on.

Thanks to Netgalley and the Publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed reading this final book in the Hedgehog Hollow series. It covers adventures at the rescue centre, in the local community and friendships and relationships of the families therein. There is an exciting build up to Christmas and the arrival of a new baby. I liked how some loose ends from previous books came to a satisfactory conclusion. I feel that there is a possibility of further books in this series in the future and look forward to reading them.

Loved all of these books. Shame that the series has finished but it gets you right up to date with all the characters

Loved this and really hope there is a Thomas, gewendolyn and terry story. The hedgehog hollow series is amazing, heart warming And emotional I would recommend it to anyone. Amazing characters & beautifully written.

Christmas is nearly upon Hedghog Hollow and the arrival of Samantha and Josh’s baby is imminent.
Fizz is now working full time at the wildlife centre. It is her dream job, but her personal life seems to be falling apart and the secret she has been holding onto for years is finally going to catch up with her.
Samantha and Fizz are going to need their friends more than ever in the next few months. But as all things at Hedgehog Hollow, things don’t always go to plan.
This is the final instalment of the Hedgehog Hollow series. It did not disapoint. It was poignant, moving and everything I hoped it would be. I am sad that this is the end. It truly is one of my favourite series.

Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood books for providing me with a free Arc in exchange for an honest review!
I thought it was absolutely fine but very mundane and not as christmassy as I would've thought from seeing the cover. It is a heartwarming story however. Told from multiple point of views with sweet and short chapters and I really enjoyed the hedgehog rescue bits. It's adorable!
I also have to point out that this is a series and I'd never read it before, it's absolutely possible to start with this book, there's some character and prequel summary in the first pages that will help you get a better sense of everything. However I think you'd probably grow a deeper connection to the characters by reading the whole thing!

This was a perfect ending book to the series! I have loved this one from the beginning and loved all the characters as well! The best thing about these is within each book you find out more about certain characters and how they have made there way to hollow. A beautiful series and loved every minute of reading it!
