This is a sweet and scientific story of the life of the universe and of the man telling the story. Swimmer’s passion for life and the universe comes through clearly.

Cosmosgenisis is the concept of the universe as continually expanding and evolving. The author, a mattematical cocosmologist, who, in this book, exploring whether the scientific view of the cosmos as exvolving can include spiriituality. His quest leads him through a fascinating journey through the West Coast and encounters with noted cosmologists such as Matthew Fox,, Thomas Berry and Carl Sagan. He concludes that the universe has a primordial intelligence, Interestedly, this author comes from the same background as myself, being educated in Catholic schools and having gone to the University of Santa Clara. However, he decided to stay within the traditions of western thought which is, of course, based on the Christian notion of a creator god separate from the universe. I wonder what he thinks of the approach that god, man and the universe are one consciousness. He does not clarify where this priordial intelligence is separate from the universe or not
