Norah Wright wants to honor her father’s work with a public display. She is impressed with manner in which artifacts are exhibited in the antiquities museum owned by the reclusive Marquess of Vanbridge. His exhibits seem to tell the story surrounding the artifacts, which is what she would like for her father’s finds. About the time Simon opens the exhibit, items begin to go missing from the museum. While Norah and Simon spend time together trying to solve the mystery and locate the missing items, they find that they admire each other, have common interests in history, and enjoying being together. Is there a chance this could lead to more? Maybe, but first, the mystery. This is the second of the Duke’s Treasures. It is an engaging romance with a shy hero and a sweet independent heroine. The answer to the mystery is quite elusive, which is what you want in a good mystery. It is a story filled with emotion, hurt from the past, love of family, and finding trust and love. I enjoyed this story and the characters. I look forward to Lena’s story.

London 1876

A determined lady and an absent minded Marquess come together in a very unexpected way!

Nora just wanted to have her father's few antiquities displayed in a museum and she found the one she thought might work. Unfortunately, she has a hard time getting the attention of the man who owns it!

Soon she gets her display set up but unfortunately, one of the items is stolen! A little mystery, suspense and a journey as these two try to resist each other, but sometimes the heart wants what it wants!!

A well written romantic story with a dollop of mystery to keep you enthralled until the last page. I have enjoyed both of the two stories so far and would say it's best to read them in order as the second book contains the wedding from the couple in the first book and as they are sister's it's best to read in order. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Norah Wright is filled with guilt for what happened the day her father died while digging for treasure on Oak Island. Determined his work isn’t forgotten, she finds the perfect museum to display the few artefacts he found. But convincing the absentminded marquis who owns it to agree is a challenge.
Simon Webb, the Marquis of Vanbridge, carefully cultivates the artefacts on display at the Museum of Antiquities. His quiet and reclusive life focused on history helps ease the pain of his youth. Though her eldest sister wants her to find a husband, Norah seeks adventure after their sheltered upbringing on the small island. An unexpected kiss with Norah, who is opposite of him in every way, shocks Simon. When one of Norah’s father’s artefacts goes missing from Simon’s museum, along with several others, the pair must work together to uncover the thief even as desire burns between them, putting everything they hold dear at risk.
The second book in the series & a lovely read. I loved both Simon & Norah, he’s quiet & shy & I loved that it’s the hero who's shy. I also loved the chemistry between the pair. This book ticked all the boxes for me, a lovely romance with some mystery. I was drawn in from the start & devoured it in two sittings. A well written engrossing read
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

A Love Waiting To Happen

What a beautiful love story. It was lovely to read how shy the Marquess was as we forget that it’s not just women who can be shy and how it showed his lovely character and beautiful soul.

Simon Webb, the Marquess of Vanbridge is a very quiet man who doesn’t fit into society but loves all things historical. Norah Wright one of the Granddaughters of the Duke of Rothwood is very outgoing and loves life although she still feels guilty about how she felt when she last saw her father before he died.

Meeting Simon and asking him to do an exhibition at his museum was hard work at first, he kept forgetting he was to meet her but once he agreed he put his whole heart into the exhibition which was a success only to find the day after that the coin which belonged to Norah although locked up had been stolen!

Both trying to solve the mystery of the missing items with the help of family and both enjoying the stolen kisses they couldn’t resist until finally the culprit is found.

Another wonderful well written romantic story with just the right amount of mystery to keep you enthralled until the last page. Loved it! I am so looking forward to Lena’s story.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book and all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Norah convinces the reclusive Simon to showcase her deceased father’s artifacts in his museum. When one of her father’s artifacts gets stolen from the museum, they investigate to find the traitor. Spending time together they find that opposites do attract and compliment each other. I received an ARC from NetGalley and Dragonblade Publishing for my honest review.
