This was a lovely collection of short stories that really added to the characters I already love! Thank you for letting me read it!
I thought it was a cute vignette of stories within the Demon Slayer universe. I think it'd be great for fans of the series. I loved seeing and learning more about the characters since the main series itself holds its strength in the characters and their interactions with each other. I will be adding this to my library collection as Demon Slayer is a series my teens are obsessed with.
I love this series, I was so excited to see more the the story. Every second was fantastic, thank you NetGalley for arc
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
3 stars.
Spoilers ahead. I will not reveal anything big - most of the review vaguely alludes to plot, structure, and characters.

Very fun new stories featuring characters we all know and love. I really enjoyed getting new/more context for characters who got less page time in the manga. It's a nice light novel for any fan of the series to pick up and breeze through.

Again, thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I need to preface this review with the fact that I am a HUGE demon slayer fan. Like, I have a tattoo of it on me fan. However, this book just didn’t hit where I needed to. I’m almost certain that it’s because I really enjoyed these characters with the art and in manga style, and reading them as just text isn’t right. However, I really enjoyed most of these stories!!! I LOVED getting more Aoi and Kanao, and Tanjiros story was so cute. Zenitsu was so annoying, as usual. Honestly his stories always rub me the wrong way because he’s just so weird, but I still enjoyed the other characters. All in all, really fun stories, and just a nice quick read about some of my favorite characters!
This was a really fun story for anyone who misses the main characters from Demon Slayer! I enjoyed getting back into this world and reading this new story.
The Flower of Happiness contains side stories to that may not make much sense to people who haven't watched or read any Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba). The target audience of this book is probably young readers who need to read more outside of what's required in school. The only side story that particularly stood out to me was the one featuring Kanao and Aoi, two characters who didn't get much screen/page time. There are bonus illustrations by the original creator of Demon Slayer, which I thought was a nice touch. (I was given a free copy by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.)
This light novel is a series of short stories set during the events of the Demon Slayer manga (specifically, from the time Tanjiro first meets Inosuke and Zenitsu before the spider arc through part of the entertainment district arc) and one story from the Kimetsu Academy au. The stories are well written, you get the sense the author is a fan of the series that is very familiar with these characters, as all of the ones that appear felt very true to their characters in the manga. I liked seeing more of the trio doing things together as friends outside of slaying demons, and felt that their dynamic was really well done. There's also one story focusing on Kanao and Aoi that I really liked and thought it did a good job of fleshing out the relationship those two have. Personally, I was disappointed that there was such a huge focus on Zenitsu, he's one of my least favorite characters and was a main part of just about every story included, and much less of Inosuke, who outside of one story acted as more of a peripheral character. I felt the stories could've been more balanced in focus, but I enjoyed them, and I'd love to see another volume like this, maybe set after the series' end.
