Atonement is a heartbreaking, thought-provoking journey about love, guilt, and the consequences of a single mistake. The way the story unfolds—through different perspectives and across time—was both intricate and devastating. The writing is absolutely beautiful, capturing the deep emotional weight of the characters’ experiences. While it’s a slow burn, the payoff at the end is powerful, even if it leaves you with more questions than answers.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars for this hauntingly beautiful story of love and remorse. R-rated for language, war content, and mature themes.

In the final installment of this series, Ainsley and Peter are in a cat and mouse game to see who gets to the other first, even if it means someone ends up dead.
It all started with Peter’s secret in their marriage and both of them trying to fix their relationship.
Would recommend reading these in order.

A per usual Kmod hits it out of the park with this book! She is always so good at the twisty-turny suspense! I love her books and will always read whatever she writes!

This series is simply astounding and mesmerizing. I love The Arrangement and the follow ups are just divine. Narration is top notch! Huge Kiersten Modglin fan here! Thank you, Kiersten Modglin, Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for my copy! All opinions are my own.

The third and final novel in The Arrangement Trilogy by Kiersten Modglin was wickedly gripping, fast-paced, and completely unpredictable. It was pedal to the metal throughout the book! This was adrenaline filled book with unpredictable twists.

I really liked the first in this series, but they became less thrilling with each one. Unfortunately this last book was nothing groundbreaking. I had been wanting to finish the series for quite some time and am glad that I was able to thanks to the ARC audiobook. The audiobook was well worth the wait and was well done.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with a free copy of this audio book for review. This was the third and final installment in the arrangement series and it just ended so poorly. I was quite disappointed with it overall. The entire book was very short, but the endless dialogue was tiresome and repetitive. The back and forth cat and mouse chase got old due to overuse and the twists fell flat because I was so uninvested. The only thing saving this is the somewhat wild ending, which is left a bit openended. This could have been done so much better, but I can’t be surprised after the second book tipped in this direction as well. I might have to be done with this author, unfortunately.

Wow!! An amazing ending to an amazing series!! I enjoyed all 3 books and I’m so glad to see a satisfying ended for Peter and Ainsley. Be sure to read the first 2 before reading this one or you will miss a lot of details. Definitely another 5 star read from Kiersten Modglin!

This is the last book in Kiersten Modglin's The Arrangement trilogy and provides a satisfying ending for Peter and Ainsley. It's told from both perspectives with lots of twists and turns as each lead tries to keep the upper hand in the marriage. you have to read the books in order (The Arrangement, The Amendment, The Atonement) or you will miss a lot. If you like fast-paced domestic thrillers, go ahead and give this series a try!

A great thriller filled with lots of betrayal. After attempting to murder her husband by lighting their home and him on fire. Ainsley Is on the run after finding out Peter was in fact not dead. After running away from Peter with her kids she decides to turn the tables on him by trying to get him locked up for the prior murders he’s been involved in. Even more blindsided.. Ainsley realizes Peter covered all his tracks and there’s absolutely no proof. Thank you NetGalley for the chance to read this book in exchange for my honest feedback!

Another wonderful book in the Arrangement series and a fantastic ending to the series. Such a quick thriller that once again, kept me guessing what was actually going on and I never knew what was going to happen next. I love all the twists and turns that KMod always brings to her books and I can't wait to dive into the next one from her!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
I LOVED the way the author wrapped up this series. I was very impressed! I don’t ever like to say too much in a review of a book in a series, so as to not give anything away to those reading the. previous ones, so I will just say it is a perfect ending to a great series!

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the audio version. An interesting story. If you like thriller dramas this is good for you. The author does a good job writing and kept my interest throughout the whole book.

What a stunning conclusion to this trilogy! I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. While the first book in this series was my favorite, after reading one book there was no way I wasn’t going to read all three! However, this is definitely a case where you want to read the books in order. These just wouldn’t have the same punch if read out of order. I would also suggest reading all three back to back unless your memory is much better than mine - and honestly you will want to because once you start you won’t be able to stop until you know how this couples’ story ends. About the only thing I could say negative about these books was that they did get maybe a bit over the top at times (nothing supernatural but just where it was like really how could they keep getting away with all of this). However a lot of thrillers have elements like that and there are true stories that get even stranger so…I really enjoyed all three of these books and this was a great conclusion. The audiobook adds an extra layer of suspense. The narration was spot on. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

This trilogy is the very definition of a toxic marriage. With many CRAZY twists and turns along the way, the reader needs to buckle up for the ride. It kept me engaged from page one and this third book was a fantastic ending to the trilogy.

What a crazy end to a crazy trilogy! This was a series that you just had to know what would happen next. Morally grey characters abound and I could never tell if I loved or hated them.

Next time you are thinking about binge watching a TV series, think again and either pick up "The Arrangement" book or audiobook trilogy. I guarantee, if you love a good psychological thriller you won't be disappointed. Easy to listen to audiobook read by two wonderful narrators. The dual POVs is easy to follow.
Big thanks to Netgalley to review the last book of the series of this toxic marriage.

The Atonement
by Kiersten Modglin
Narrated by George Newbern; Sarah Mollo-Christensen
Rating: 4.5/5 Stars
I am absolutely THRILLED that I was given the opportunity to listen to and review The Atonement. I've been a fan of the trilogy from the beginning, and it was a blast following Ainsley and Peter through their completely twisted reality. The Atonement really brought everything full circle for me, and while I loved them all, I think this one was my favorite. Peter and Ainsley aren't in the subtle cat-and-mouse phase; they're in the full-fledged, their future depends on it cat-and-mouse stage. If you've listened to the first two books in the trilogy, you'll love the third and final installment. If not, I encourage you to listen to or read those ones first, and I'm sure that you'll love them all. If you haven't listened to the first two, you'll miss some super important backstory, and this isn't what I would consider a standalone novel, though it *could* be...but you'll be missing out on so much.
The narration was top-notch as well. George Newbern and Sarah Mollo-Christensen ARE Peter and Ainsley. They did a fabulous job, and I'm always happy to listen to stories narrated by them. Overall, I definitely recommend The Atonement and the entire trilogy. Kiersten Modglin always does a grat job crafting original tales that keep me entertained and listening to the very end!

This was the last book in the series and I have to say that I did not see any of that coming at all. This book was really a rollercoaster for me from the time I started it. I did not know where it might take me. As always I loved the two narrator in this audio.

I definitely had to re listen to the first two in this series before I was able to listen to the ARC audiobook from @netgalley!
The Atonement was a wild ride. Just when you think things could t get any worse for the family that has been through it all, but they out themselves in these messes, it gets worse. The development of characters is exquisite and the reader understands sides and reasons to deepen the characters and their relationships with others.
“First, there was THE ARRANGEMENT—a scandalous story about Peter and Ainsley Greenburg’s attempt to fix their marriage, no matter the cost.
Then, came THE AMENDMENT—with their darkest secrets revealed, the couple set out in a treacherous attempt to repair what had been broken.

Whom can she trust when her world is up in flames?
One wrong decision could cost her everything she has left—her family, her home, and her life.
