OH MY OH MY!!! Rebecca Zanetti has managed to write another great thriller with Laurel Snow as the main character! The book brings us back to the Pacific Northwest into the Mountains where there is another serial killer on the loose and Laurel with the help of her team and Captain Huck Rivers!

Laurel Snow is struggling with moving back home to head a new office in her hometown. She is struggling with her half sister who is sociopathic. On top of that, there are dead women - their faces beaten and their hands cut off left in the snow. Laurel and Huck work to identify what is happening and who is the killer.

As this mystery continues, the reappearing characters continue to be fun elements, except for Abigail. Abigail is creepy and more information continues to leak out about her and her relationships (or lack thereof) makes it even creepier.

You Can Hide by Rebecca Zanetti is a great thriller to enjoy!

What do you do when a sociopath loves you? Rising star FBI profiler Laurel Snow is about to find out …
Calling Laurel Snow’s relationship with her newly discovered half-sister challenging is an understatement. Not only does Laurel suspect Abigail is behind the mysterious disappearance of their father, but her erratic behavior also makes life in Laurel’s small hometown interesting, to say the least. Still, when Abigail claims someone is now out to kill her, Laurel’s instinct to protect her sister goes into overdrive. Then things get even more dicey as dead bodies start turning up in the icy waters of the Sauk River and there’s only one connection among them: Abigail . . .
Having Fish and Wildlife Captain Huck Rivers bringing in those bodies with his dive team only complicates matters. Huck is as impulsive and fiery as Laurel is coolly analytical, which makes their alliance risky at best. But standing up to such a demonically brilliant killer is going to take all the help Laurel can get. Because Laurel’s attempt to save her troubled sister’s life might cost her own . . .

This is a very gripping read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and found myself second guessing every thought I had continuously.
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.
Recommend reading.

I was provided an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher. This is my own honest voluntary review.

No one writes romantic suspense thriller stories better than Rebecca Zanetti. She keeps me guessing right up to the very end. The bonus is the romance thread is ongoing in this series. It keeps you guessing as to whether or not they will end up a couple as well. I love the dynamic going on between Laurel and her half sister Abigail. You keep cheering for Laurel's team that slowly is patched together to become a force in the FBI. Then there's the chemistry between her and the loner Fish and Wildlife officer Huck Rivers. That give and take is just yummy. What a wonderful series!

Laurel Snow is once again perplexed with another serial killer in her home town of Genesis Valley Washington. What are the odds that there would be two serial killers in this small community? As Laurel works to find the patterns between the killings she's dealing with her highly intelligent half sister Abigail that she doesn't trust. Is Abigail sane or is she a sociopath? Then there's the wonderfully supportive dynamic between her mother and uncles on the ranch. She and Huck are once again working closely together on this case and are rapidly finding they have great chemistry both between the sheets and on the case itself. I can't wait to see what she comes up with in the next book!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

You know it’s a great reading year when it’s bookended by two dynamic books in the same thrilling series. In this case, I’m talking about Rebecca Zanetti’s Laurel Snow series, and while I loved You Can Run, YOU CAN HIDE is even more exciting.
...
Zanetti continues to craft shocking tales of romance and suspense that keep readers on the edges of their seats. The characters are richly illustrated, and the addictive plots are full of binge-worthy details with reveals that are perfectly timed to create a breakneck pace and leave you breathless. I don’t think I realized there was a question of Laurel and Huck being a couple at the end of the first book, so I wasn’t expecting their awkward interaction at the beginning of this story. I’m happy to report that much is resolved, romantically speaking, in this book. I can’t wait to see what monster lurks around the next corner for Laurel, and I can’t wait to read about her ragtag collection of colleagues who make up her remote field office in Genesis Valley. If you’re a fan of romantic suspense, this one’s a definite keeper!

Another great Laurel Snow book, Highly recommend reading the first book. Laurel is dealing with yet another serial killer in her hometown and with her feelings for Huck and dealing with her sister's possessive, narcissistic ways. Very intense and gripping story.

Another thrilling read. FBI agent Laurel Snow & Captain Buck Rivers are back. They have a new case that involves a woman been brutally beaten and her hands cut off. Can they find the killer before anyone else dies? Laurel’s half sister Abigail is still trying to get more involved in her life but Laurel knows that she can’t trust her. But she knows that if she doesn’t try to understand why Abigail keeps on getting involved in her cases something is going to happen. Another body is found and the clues point to a young man that is troubled but could he really be the killer? Laurel & Huck try to put their attraction aside but it gets the better of them. They both know that their have their own trust issues but it just seems to work.
The killer has been in front of them all this time but can they stop him before another innocent victim is killed?
A great read. Rebecca is a wonderful storyteller that keeps me on the edge of my seat.
Great characters. Laurel is a different woman as she is unlike most people but that is what makes her so likeable. Huck has his issues but he is really trying to be a better friend. I really hope that their relationship blossoms going forward. Abigail can’t be trusted she is up to something and it won’t be anything good. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC copy. This is my voluntary review.

"No," Abigail snapped. "We will speak now. I am in danger, and as my sister, you are going to help me."
"Half sister," Laurel returned, unwilling to deal this right now. "I will call you later, Abigail."
"No. Somebody is harassing me, and it has to stop."

It took every ounce of energy for Laurel Snow to deal with her half sister. High maintenance is putting it mildly. But there someone out there - murdering people. Leaving a calling card - the same calling card found in Abigail's yard. Is everything as it seems, though?

This second book in the Laurel Snow series is AMAZING. I love the characters and the story. I can not wait for more!!

*******************************************************************************************

Back in January I read my first Rebecca Zanetti -- You Can Run -- and I knew that I would be devouring the rest of the Laurel Snow series just as quickly as I could. Well, "just as quickly" wasn't as quickly as I had hoped. The second book hit my NetGalley shelf in August, the book was released a week and a half ago, and I'm just now losing myself in it .... but it has been well-worth the wait.

I'm currently on vacation and have a day with no other obligations so all I have had to worry about is food, beer, and what is going to happen next with Laurel and Huck and the latest serial killer wreaking havoc in the snowy northwest. It hasn't been the "festive" murder and mayhem I've been lining up for the month, but it does take place in January so it's not that far off .... and there most definitely been murder and mayhem and sooooo many twists and turns that it all works.

I thought that I had it figured out. There are so many ideal candidates for "whodunnit" and I didn't completely miss the mark .... but, yeah, I totally did.

And is Laurel's half-sister Abigail still "batshit crazy?"

Well, yes .... yes, she is.

Am I totally going to grab the next installment once it hits NetGalley?

Well, yes .... yes, I am.

Am I going to scream from the hills "read these in order?"

Of course I am. Are you new here or something?

I loved You Can Run by Rebecca Zanetti and as much as I don't like cliffhangers, I couldn't wait for the second book in the series. You Can Hide does not disappoint. Laurel Snow and Huck Rivers are back at it searching for another serial killer and it's equally as twisty as the first book.

What I really enjoyed in this book is we saw more of Laurel and Huck's developing friendship (or maybe more than friends) and got to know a bit more about each character. Readers will also get to know more about Laurel's half-sister Abigail, whom she discovered in the first book.

Incredibly atmospheric and fast-paced, I couldn't put it down. Definitely recommend.

Thank you Kensington Books/Zebra and NetGalley for the eARC!
4.5/5 stars

Another great book in this series. So many twists and turns in this book. Once you start reading you won't want to put it down until the end. Laurel and Huck's relationship is fun to see play out in the pages of this series. I like that Laurel's mind is different from what people consider normal. Having her sister just as different and brilliant as her makes reading this series more interesting. I look forward to the next book in the series.

When I read You Can Run, the first book in this series earlier this year, I absolutely loved Laurel Snow and Huck Rivers. They are a great crime-solving team and I was left wanting more. Well the day has come and I finished You can Hide yesterday and I'm still sighing over how much I love this series.

Expert FBI profiler and genius Laurel Snow is back in town with a new serial killer who is leaving brutally murdered women in the snow. He's got a calling card as well -- he leaves Black Dahlia's all over the place to commemorate the crime.

As the team unravels the clues, more murders are committed. And Laurel's creepy half-sister is involved. That can't be good, because creepy Dr. Craine is one of the creepiest! This is a character that made my skin crawl every time she was on page.

I don't want to spoil the serial murder case for you, although I had a good idea of the culprit somewhere around the halfway mark. It's the motivation for the murders that ties everything together in a deliciously sinister way and sets up the story for more the come.

I adored Laurel's examination into her own life and her relationship with Huck, which is really the shining star on the top of the cake for me as a romance reader. I just love these two together, and their conflicts in this installment were very real. There's so much between these two characters that is unsaid, which makes me want more, more, more of them! I can hardly wait for the next installment in the series.

So overall, great characters. Even the secondary characters piqued my interest, especially the new IT analyst, Nestor. I hope he gets some more page time. And the older detectives that are also part of the team are also an integral part of the crime-fighting element. The creepy Dr. Craine is worth the price of the book for sure. The serial-killer case was well-crafted with just enough clues for this reader to figure out what was going on right along with the team. I just love everything about this series.

This book is the second in the Laurel Snow series and again, it is phenomenal. Laurel and Huck are trying to catch a serial killer that is brutally murdering female doctors (females with various doctorate degrees). The twists and turns in the story are so well written and when we finally find out who the killer is I was shocked! I think I suspected the person for maybe a millisecond and then dismissed the person quickly. Rebecca Zanetti does an amazing job with her details and draws the reader in, I was so engrossed in the story I could not put the book down until I was finished! I read the story and listened to it on Audible after it was released and both times I was thoroughly engrossed in the story! The one thing though that I can't wait to see about is Abigail Crane... she scares me and I can't wait to see what Rebecca Zanetti is going to do with that character in the final book. I'm hoping for a happy ending for my favorite characters, but I must admit I'm afraid, very afraid, of what could happen as we never truly know when Abigail Crane is involved!! This series is a definite must read for people that enjoy suspense thrillers (with a bit of romance thrown in)! I loved both books & highly recommend reading them!!

Another absolutely outstanding read from Zanetti, this is an author whose books I read and read again and just like all her previous books I could not put You Can Hide down. Twists turns, romance and a few surprises along the way, you won't be disappointed.

First Impressions
You Can Run is the 2nd installment in the “Laurel Snow” series and it was just released this past week which is so exciting. This book is perfect for readers that love romantic thrillers or want to explore the genre a bit more but are still romance readers. Now I will say that the romance does most definitely take a back seat, but its present. I have a feeling we will be seeing their relationship slowly build throughout the series and its done well and boy does Zanetti know how to write a good sex scene. She really implements some well done plot growth on this one and a bit of a alpha male for our hero so what’s not to love. And as a bonus, this is the perfect book to read for this time of year, it has such a strong winter theme to it that I just gravitated towards.

Summary
Our story starts off with a woman being raped and visciously murdered in the snow. Laurel is the head FBI agent on the case, and has heard from Huck in quite some time as he stopped connected with her, but now she is forced to work with him on this serial murder case and tensions between them are high as they work are solving the case while also determining where their relationship stands between them. Laurel is also having to face unresolved issues with her step sister who could either be a target or even the killer herself. There is a connection to some kids involved and women keep getting targeted in the depth of winter.

What I Loved
I just loved so many aspects to this story, it was so intriguing to seeing how this all worked together and how the story was gradually built. I was instantly pulled into the story and I was so happy to be back to this delightful story with Laurel and Huck. And man these two need to just have talks more haha and there is WALL SEX. Zanetti doesn’t shirk on the sensuality of her writing even in a romantic thriller and I really adored that. We still feel the deep tones of chemistry between the pair as they work on solving the investigation. We see more hints at the secrets of how Laurel’s mind works and I really loved seeing that.

What I Struggled With
There wasn’t much that I struggled with, I would have liked just a bit more focus on the relationship builing between Huck and Laurel.

Overall View
I found You Can Run to be a thrilling addition to the series, that offers a plot building of intensity, dramatic relationship interactions and a snowy small town setting to draw you into its charm, UTTERLY A WIN!

Excellent second book in the Laurel Snow Thriller series. There's plenty of exciting and unexpected twists and turn kept me glued to the pages. I absolutely love the interaction, and the chemistry, between Laurel and Huck. And Abigail, Laurel's half-sister, adds a nice creepy element to the storyline.
Highly recommend.

Many thanks to Kensington Books/Zebra and NetGalley for an advance copy of this book. My thoughts and opinions are my own and without bias or favor or expectation.

This is a Romantic Suspense/Mystery, and this is the second book in the Laurel Snow series. I have read and reviewed the first book in this series before picking up this book. This is a series that I really think should be read in order because this book feeds off of things that happen in the first book. I really love this series and the characters in this series. This book is packed with a ton of action and suspense with a little bit of romance. I loved the mystery that is going on in this book, and it kept me guessing. I did not want to put this book down, so I ended up staying up super late finishing reading this book. Great Read. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Zebra) or author (Rebecca Zanetti) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.
