Rosemary thinks she’s found her big break. She’s willing to do anything for her sister, and eventually, she has to prove it.

Rosemary is old enough to know that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. But when she is struggling to keep a roof over her own head while going to school, and then her young sister shows up threatening self-harm if Rosemary doesn’t take her in, desperation takes over.

This book felt like a lot of information, between the backstory for Rosemary and Wendy, to a sort of glossing over of Rosemary’s life between her childhood and when she meets Leo Glass, to her divided life while "dating" Leo Glass. She made it clear that she was playing a role with him, but what an engrossing role to play. While it wasn’t clear if she was still going to school or just waiting til the year was over, her time without him felt almost pointless. Having to be prepared for him to summon her meant she never could really just relax and be herself.

Overall, the book was an interesting perspective of a situation that sounds like it maybe could be realistic, but still hard to imagine. The story earned 3 out of 5 stars and would be good for those who enjoy psychological thrillers combined with a bit of family drama.

This was requested when I first found out about NetGalley and I had requested so many ARCs that I could not get to all of them before they were archived. I really wanted to get to this one, as it seemed interesting. If I can find this somewhere for a reasonable price, I will try to get it! I am giving this book three stars, as I don't want to give it a good or bad rating, since I did not get to it and we have to leave a star rating.

I have mixed feelings on this one! While I didn’t love it, I found myself not being able to stop reading. The writing was super engaging. The MC Rosemary was incredibly dumb, but I still wanted to find out what happened to her in the end. My major complaint is the longer chapters, I am more of a short chapter kinda gal. Overall, this was just an average read that could have used a little more suspense.

When Rosemary’s half-sister shows up at her door, she is already struggling but decides that providing for the teenager is of the utmost important - even if that means becoming an escort. Rosemary finds herself stuck between the man paying to control her and man able to provide true intimacy.

An engaging premise with some hard to like characters. Some hard to relate to while others were super creepy - it felt a little all over the place for me.

Obsession that is way beyond the norm! I flew through this fast paced physcological thriller. It had me gripped and screaming at my kindle.

The premise was really intriguing- and the ending of the prologue had me extremely excited to read but nothing worked for me. It was creepy and parts of it made me uncomfortable in a way that didn't deter me from reading the book but it just wasn't working for me.

Rosemary is vulnerable and lonely and wanting to help her sister….so when a man offers her a deal she couldn’t refuse she accepts….a good read about an obsessive man and fighting back

An interesting read that showcases a man that is obsessed and is determined to control things whenever he can and the effects that has on the people around him. It was suspenseful and tense and full of atmosphere.

I struggled to finish this book. I couldn't not connect to any of the characters. The writing was good but the story itself was not very engaging. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC

Suspenseful novel of a man’s obsession and determination to control …the despair and disillusionment of Rosemary was well written, her desperation to help her sister was believable.

Fast , propulsive and an unreal twisted tale. I loved this one and can't wait for her next read. This was easily a solid 4 star for me. Brilliant writing and held my attention the entire book!

I've made it clear over my past reviews, I am a sucker for a great cover. Once I saw the cover for No One Knows Us Here, I knew I had to request it. This book just held so much mystery at first glance.

Little did I know the cover was just the tip of the iceberg. This book is jam packed with suspense and "OMG" moments, that you will have very minimal time to catch your breath before being thrown for the next twist.

I was completely blown away by Rebecca Kelley. This was my first book by this author and I was left speechless. This book deserves all of the positivity headed its way.

Ohh, this was kept me on the edge from the very first page! I had no idea what I was getting into and while I love the plot, I don’t feel the same way about the characters.

The main character, Rosemary was very unlikeable. Her decisions frustrates me and while she claims to be forced into certain situations, she did not have the sense of urgency to get out of her predicament. She desperately wants to provide a better life for herself and her sister but offers no comfort or involvement in her sister’s life.

The whole plot is engaging and thrilling, would have given this a higher rating if the characters were developed better. Thank you Netgalley and Lake Union Publishing for the arc.

I was at the edge of my sofa reading this book! Rebecca Kelley’s writing is amazing in this book that you can’t keep yourself from feeling overwhelmingly bad for Rosemary and all the choices she has to make. We get a sense that something is very wrong with Leo right from the start of the book and we eventually discover what later in the book and all that does is make him even more unlikable. Having said that, you also can’t keep from trying to choose team Leo or team Sam and I’m glad that the story went the way it did in the end. I don’t want to give much away from the plot, but this story really is a page turner and I could not have asked for a better storyline!

This was awful. I pushed myself to finish hoping it'd get better but only got worse. Every twist so ridiculous and all that last segment with the trial, very low quality writing. It's supposed to be a female version of "Crime and punishment". I would not recommend this to anyone.
