I am so glad i discovered this author with her book 1 . I love these books because both main characters are always portrayed as strong, independent, fierce and loyal. There is none of the typical tropes given causing angst. It is a book about true mates and aliens with extra bits but there is still a good story. This one was the steamiest IMO because it hit on different curiosities people are into. There was love, lust, fear, danger, mystery, and more.
A little slow starting off for me, lots of action. If you like alien romance this is the book for you. When two captains are brought together on a mission, whose really in charge?
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own
Alien's Temptation by Tina Moss.
Earth Brides & Alien Warriors, Book 3.
I’m the captain of Earth’s moonbase. I can handle any mission. I do not need a partner, even if he is a sexy-as-sin alien commander, who looks at me like he’s trying to decide between throttling me or…something else. His grumpy demeanor and dominant streak make me want to shake him, but I can’t deny the heat between us. Do I dare put my hand to the flame? I’ve been burned before. And I’ve guarded my heart ever since. As we travel to a distant planet to find the rare substance that will save both our kinds, we soon discover the inhabitants have some odd customs. And if we don’t follow their sensual mandates, they’ll withhold the bounty. The survival of the Earth-Rhonar treaty depends on our success. We can’t afford to fail. But when victory depends on a death-do-us-part bond, can I put my heart on the line and trust again? And will this alien warrior lower his defenses to let me? Only the stars know.
A really good read with good characters. I do like this series. 4*.
Tina Moss does it again! Another excellent addition to the Earth Brides and Alien Warriors series.
If you like fated mates, grumpy heroes, and a generous helping of spice, then this book is for you!
I’m sorry I just couldn’t get into this one; the plot felt ridiculous and unbelievable. The relationship felt VERY rushed…they board the ship, argue for a bit, go to their rooms for an hour and then end of pleasuring her while they are sparring. It felt weird that we got to that place so fast! Maybe I missed some relationship build-up in previous books…And every subsequent challenge they had to face had to do with mating and sex.
Also, there were so many grammatical errors and misplaced words that I found it too distracting to keep me even mildly engaged in the story.

This is hot front start to end! I love these two together. The both know how to kick but and take names. But the real heat is in the bed. I’m really enjoying this series!m. Check it out
I wish I could have picked this series up earlier! I love it! It was a fun and steamy read and is perfect for those of us starting in the alien/sci-fi romance category. Fantastic job done by the author - the plot was fun, and the character was well developed and engaging to say the least! I went and got the two previous books in the series.
Tor's planet was ravaged when the Versaken killed all their female's. Now the males become empty, without emotion because they don't have mate's. But Tor's people, the Rhonar Warriors have found that they can mate with human females if they can find a mate among the Earthlings. But the Earth's government won't agree to a treaty between our two people's unless the Rhonar Warriors can prove that they can keep Earth safe.
So Jane, who is a captain of Earth's moonbase agrees to go on a mission with the grumpy Tor to Sense VII to get ergamite, which would prove to Earth's government that they would be safe. But Tor is very gruff with Jane because he's trying not to act on his feelings for her since he knows she is his mate. But he wants to wait to tell her until there is a treaty between their people. But their passion will not take a back seat to this mission. Not when they are both lusting after each other. No matter how short or iterating Tor is to Jane, she still finds him to be a very handsome alien that she has a hard time not fantasizing about even when she wants to throttle him.
The snarkiness between them was really funny to watch because she has no idea how hard he is trying not to give in to his feelings. She just thinks that he's a jerk so she pushes his buttons to drive him crazy at every turn. That was fun to watch.
What they have to endure together once on Sense VII in order to get the ergamite, was comical but it really brought them closer together and made it impossible for Tor not to show her he isn't the jerk she thinks he is. This is my first time reading this author or this series but I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.
Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a quick read.
For a Women who was supposed to be a strong character, it did feel she gave in just too quickly, where lust seemed to over come her brain.
It would have been even quicker read if some of the sex scenes were removed.
This really was not for me.
Alien’s Temptation is my first venture into the recently trending alien romance genre. I have to say, this story is fun and the characters are great. Though they try to deny their attraction to one another, fated mates Jane and Tor come together to become a seriously compatible couple.
This ebook does contain a handful of errors, and needs a bit more editing to correct some grammar and a few word choice instances.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my own, unbiased review.
Alien's Temptation
Earth Brides & Alien Warriors, Book 3
by Tina Moss
I received a digital copy of this ebook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This is the 3rd book in the series and while one could probably enjoy it fine if you’re not too picky needing world building details and distracted by call backs to other books it’s probably best that they be read in order.
Here we have two Alpha personalities on a mission together challenging for control and unable to resist the pull of being fated mates but only he knows about the fated mates thing! Oh nos! But wait she’s on board with the canoodling so it’s fine.
This is a sci fi alien romance space adventure with high steam, a couple tense dangerous moments and is on the shorter side which is just what I need sometimes.
Great read. 5/5
In this 3rd book of Tina Moss' Earth Brides and Alien Warriors we follow Captain Jane Kadaran head of Earth's Moon Base and Commander 'Tor' Torian of the Rhonar on a mission to a distantplanet to retrieve a crystal to power a shield to protect earth from malevolent alien invaders. If this mission fails Earth won't negotiate with the Rhonar for a treaty that would include the possibility of finding mates with each other. Rhonar have no women and Earth has a 90% female population.
This can be read without reading the two previous books. The author gives us enough background to fill in enough of the backstory that you don't feel lost.
This is an insta-lust/love type story Jane and Tor met in a previous book and while she is drawn to him, he knows she is his fated mate but feels the need to deny himself until the mission and treaty negotiations are both successful for the moral of his fellow Rhonar. While traveling they run into some trouble but that only serves to help the learn more about each other and how to work together while deepening the bond they have.
The author delivers on her promise of steamy seduction, fated mates, and a happily-ever-after.
#AliensTemptation
We get insta lust, near insta emotions and romance, and fast plot development in Alien’s Temptation. If you like humanoid alien romance, fated mates, forced proximity, and want a quick read - this is a decent pick.
The series title is an apt description: Earth Brides and Alien Warriors is exactly what you get. Personally, I really like this trope. Alien’s Temptation is the version of the trope with the Earth bride also being a warrior - Jane is a captain in the military with a type-A personality. Tor, our alien warrior, is a member of a species that needs females to mate with. He immediately knows Jane is his mate, and Jane is instantly attracted to him as well. They have a special mission to complete that requires them working together as an interspecies team.
While this book had all of the elements I like in an alien romance, it just didn’t come together successfully for me. I think there was too much going on for the length of the book. There is a lot of plot and world building which felt a bit rushed. For the plot, when I got to new chapters I was surprised that things had moved along so quickly to the next major plot point. When it came to world building, a lot of it was done through Jane asking “what is that?” or “what did he mean by that?”, or Tor offering explanations of things which Jane wouldn’t know. This just isn’t one of my favorite devices, it feels clunky.
Because of the ambitious plot and world building, there isn’t as much room for the relationship development between Jane and Tor. I think this is unfortunate because it’s my favorite element of any romance. There just wasn’t much build up to the “you are mine” moment.
That said, things get pretty steamy and at one point, Jane has to put on an act that really heats things up (I can’t say more without spoilers).
Overall, I think I would have enjoyed it more with a less ambitious plot within this length, or with there being more pages for the narrative and romance to develop. If you have an alien romance itch you want scratched, this definitely does it with all the best elements of the genre.
Who doesn't want to have a alien. These kind of books are so fantastic and want you think of aliens like this. I just love to read them for the fun of them.
I had never read any of the other books in this series but I felt like I needed quite a bit of additional context, some of the vocabulary took me a while to understand. Also, I didn't really like how quickly the romance progressed, I understand that they're mates and all, but it all happened very fast. But if you are looking for quick, alien steamy fun then this is for you.
I enjoyed this book. There was a twist with the drama in the book I did not expect. But you’ll have to read it yourself to find out! It had enough drama to keep it interesting but not so much that it overwhelms. The book is temptation indeed.
A big thank you to NetGalley and City Owl Press for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is number 3 in a series, but can be read as a stand alone. This is a pretty quick read. Somewhat convoluted plot, but held my interest. 3.5 stars
