Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for granting me free access to the advanced digital copy of this book.
I’ll admit this was a pretty cute continuation of the first book. I even found myself laughing at one point, which I really didn’t expect since I wasn’t the biggest fan of book one. And though it’s not like this sequel changed my mind about the series overall, I can still say it’s a series I could see a young reader deeply enjoying. In that regard, I know I’d be happy to recommend it to young cat lovers in search of a new book.
I just finished this, and I'm still teary-eyed (happy with a touch of bittersweet tears, not sad ones - be not afraid!) and I love this series, it's so adorable and tugs at all the right heartstrings. The ending, y'all - I've had that same dream experience, and that hit me so hard, but in a good way. I don't know if this is the end of the Housecat adventures (it feels like it probably is), but I'm sure hoping to see more of Buster and friends in the future.

My heart broke when I was reading this story, namely when Buster went on more ghost adventures and his human found her kitty missing. Book one introduced us to Buster, Chauncey and Nova, who go around liberating houses of unwanted spirits. In this case, a cat that has forgotten his name but has entered Buster's home. After letting him stay for the night, Buster becomes determined to help "Onion" find his human. I felt so many feels at the end, and am relieved we had a happy ending. All these kitties deserve that!
Buster is back and in more trouble than ever!
In the second installment we are following Buster as he helps his new friend Onion get home. On the other side of the neighborhood, we are following Nova and Chauncey as they are still fighting the spirits.
I liked how the two story lines eventually converge, and bring the gang together again. I still really like the art style and how colorful it is.
Also, this one hit me in the feels and I might have cried.
I really hope there is a volume 3 and I love these little kitties.
Thank you to NetGalley for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.
Buster is back and helping a kitten named Onion who is doing odd things (when no one is looking). In trying to help Onion, Buster inadvertently becomes lost, but finds old friends and helps rescue some new ones. Another solid entry in the Housecat Trouble Series. Buster is a sweet kitten who is just bumbling along, being helpful while their friends are trying to figure out what to do for their future. The Spirits are back and the gate is pretty big this time but together, they will solve the mystery and save the town. Cat lovers every where will probably have feels about the ending, but it's a good feels ending. Hopefully we get some more entries in this wonderful series with so much heart!
I absolutely love this graphic novel series. It is just so fun, while making you think about things [lost pets] and is filled with amazing illustrations that will keep everyone talking [and looking for what they can find within those illustrations] along with the lessons that can be learned from this graphic novel.
Buster the cat is at it again, with his friends Nova and Chauncey and their new friend "Onion", they must help Onion find their way home all while dodging monsters, both of the imaginary kind AND the human kind. It is a really fun story to read and I cannot recommend this series enough; I think kids of all ages will love this one. I cannot wait to see what Buster and his friends will get up to next!! Well done!

I'M NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING.
This book was cute, adorable, and every synonym in the book! I love the adventures of these cats and their connection to the spirit world. I'm excited to see where they go next.
What a super cute graphic novel with absolutely adorable illustrations!!
Really enjoyed this graphic novel and would recommend it for your elementary and middle grade graphic novel lover! The story was full of adventure and fun, and the graphics are delightful with a very unique and refreshing color palette.
Grateful to have received a digital copy of this book from NetGalley & Random House Children's, Random House Graphic.
All of my kids enjoyed this book and look forward to more to come in the future. Silly, fun, and keeps them entertained.
In the sequel to Housecat Trouble, Buster is finally safe back at home...until a mysterious little white kitten shows up needing his help to find home. I enjoyed this one, not quite as much as the first one, but it was still very cute and wholesome and the ending gave me so much happiness. I will avoid spoilers but I will just say, if it made you sad that Nova and Chauncey stayed homeless at the end of the first book, you need to go ahead and get your tissues out before you read Lost and Found.
Note: I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley. I was not compensated in any other fashion for the review and the opinions reflected below are entirely my own. Special thanks to the publisher and author for providing the copy.
This was such a cute graphic novel! I was drawn in by the cover and the illustrations did not disappoint. The messages in this book are so important! What an adventure reading this was, full of action and humor. I can't wait for the 3rd installation.
One night a lost kitten appears in Buster's house. He promises to help him find his way home. The kitten disappears several times on the journey. With the help of his friends, Buster manages to find the kitten's house and rid it of spirits. I feel like I missed out on a good story by not reading volume 1.
Housecat Trouble: Lost and Found by Mason Dickerson is a really cute graphic novel about a lost kitty. This is the second book in the series. It’s a wonderful story about helping others and family. Buster, Nova, and Chauncey help the little kitty find his way home. Oh no! They were captured by the dog catcher, and they all had to work together to escape. Onion, the lost kitty has disappeared. Will they find him? Several endearing twists at the end. Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Children's for the ARC.
This was an adorable graphic novel! My elementary son and I both read it, and agree that Buster and friends are the cutest and most resourceful cats. We especially loved Stinkbug. What a wonderful story about standing up for your friends, helping others, and the love of family.
Another amazing book by Mason Dickerson! I was so happy when I saw that another Housecat Troubles book was coming out.
This book was again filled with adventure and at times made me tear up. It was great reading about Buster and the gang and the new friends they made along the way!
This would be a great graphic novel for Middle Grade readers.
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Children's for the ARC!

What a funny, uplifting read. This is a cute graphic novel for children. The illustrations are fun, colorful, and amusing. Graphic novels are what my non-reader kiddo will request and read. I'm looking forward to more books to come.
Thank you, NetGalley and Random House Children, for the opportunity to read this arc in exchange for an honest review.
Another adorable entry in the Housecat Trouble graphic novel series. This series is so my fun to read. I was happy to see favorite cat characters again, along with some new friends. An excellent choice for readers that love graphic novels and cats. Fans of Katie the Catsitter, Sparks, and Binky the Space Cat will likely enjoy this series.
Thank you to Mason Dickerson, Random House Children's, and #NetGalley for the opportunity to read this arc in exchange for an honest review.
I just adored this graphic novel. I actually read it in one sitting with my partner and it was wonderful! The artwork was clever and fantastical and I loved the little details on the panels. The story was equal parts funny, mysterious (spooky?), and endearing. Yes, we teared up at the end. I have no shame.
Fun fact, I was so swept up with requesting this arc I didn't realize it was the second part of a series. So I'm happy to say that it was enjoyable without the first book but there are a couple of parts that make more sense now that I've gotten up to date.
This was such a great read. I'll definitely be buying a copy when it comes out.
5 out of 5 stars!
