I am a huge fan of Denise Williams and couldn't to read her three novellas set in airports! These stories are so cute and I love how they come in a paperback book for my collection. Each story was unique in their own way and it didn't feel like the "same story different font" like some authors do with their novellas. Highly recommend!
All your favourite Denise Williams things, but add in the excitement and anticipation that comes with travel and the airport. If you're not escaping somewhere fun this season (or if you are, take this book with you!), still feel like you've been on an adventure after reading this lovely collection.
This is a great group of short stories from Denise Williams that all center around an airport. I really enjoyed each of the stories. I also really like how they all overlapped and connected! It takes skill to pull that off and not have it feel forced!
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review!
Love and Other Flight Delays, a group of three novellas about making that love, and sometimes flight, connection in the same airport. Each vignette shares secondary characters and references to the other stories.
This collection has all of the feels in three heartwarming and sexy stories. Each one shows off Denise Williams’ talent for clever, giggle-inducing banter, body positivity, diversity, and spicy hotness. You get fast-paced, quick reads - perfect when you want something light to read in an afternoon.
No matter what flavor of contemporary romance is your favorite, Love and Other Flight Delays has you covered. You get fake dating, one night stand turns into more, enemies to lovers, workplace romance, grump and sunshine, friends to lovers, and second chance romance.
You also get a meet-cute involving a wet dog dashing through an airport terminal, a mystery involving a love letter, and delicious chocolate descriptions.
These novellas are fun, quick reads with cute romance storylines. It is not necessary to have read others in the series to follow, or to read the series in order, so they are very accessible.
