A very nice picture book for Christian families who are looking for a story to share with children. I try to balance secular books with religious books in the library collection and I think this would be checked out frequently by parents who want to integrate their beliefs with storytime and bonding. I recommend this for religious programs or libraries that want to add to their religion offerings.

I really loved the simplicity of this message. Illustrations were good though some of the people looked odd but the story is great.

I really liked the message behind this book and how beautifully illustrated it is. My favorite page was the bird and how the mountains and water were part of its wings.

Love that this comes in board book form. This book shows the reader that you can praise God no matter what your circumstances are. It addresses hardship and sadness in a relatable and a way that is easy to understand. Definitely a great resource to have! Thank you NetGalley for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This short, simple board book takes inspiration from the Psalms, teaching children about praising God in the midst of our joys and sorrows. The illustrations are soft and sweet, and I like how the book emphasizes God's closeness to us in the midst of sadness, instead of only focusing on the good parts of life.

Praise the Lord, Oh my Soul.
With all my soul, praise the Lord!

There is so much to praise the Lord for and I love how this book puts your mind, soul, body, and heart in praise to the Lord. You and your child will love the colorful illustrations. It is a representation of all that God has made and that He is good.

What happens if you do not feel like praising the Lord? God acknowledges and knows our heart when it is heavy. We need to be able to share those feelings with God and others, it makes the praise that much sweeter.

What makes this a great book for children and adults it is intentional on how we can praise the Lord at all time. It does something to our heart when we have a heart of praise. This is what we want for our children- A heart of praise.

A special thank you to Crossway Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

This is a very simple, sweet, and short poem that teaches young children to praise God in all circumstances. Possibly the best thing about this board book, though, is that children and adults alike will enjoy it. Read it again and again and you won’t get tired of it.

As the book points out, whether morning or evening, light or dark, wherever we go or whatever we do, we can Praise Him because He is always there with us. This is a lesson that cannot be taught too early in life.

Every children’s book needs great illustrations and the ones in this book are wonderfully done. Bright, colorful pictures with many things to notice without being cluttered keep the book engaging. You’ll spot something different every time you read it.

If you have a little one in your life, this would make a perfect gift for them. Then snuggle up and read it together.

Praise Him is a beautiful picture book about giving God praise in the good and hard times. I read this book with my 6 and 10 year old daughters and they both enjoyed the story and the pictures. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book for my honest opinion.

Praise Him! is a sweet and colorful book to encourage a young child to praise God through the highs and lows in life and to remind them that He is always with them no matter what. There is some rhyming in there but not totally. The illustrations are appealing and include children with a variety of skin colors.

I hesitated between 4 and 5 stars. I’m not completely satisfied perhaps because it doesn’t all rhyme. But it’ll still make a good book to share with a child.

This is such a delightful and encouraging children’s book. It reminds me of Psalm 103 and Psalm 150. It encourages your child to praise God. I would say it’s best for under 6 years old.

A cute little children's Christian picture book is Praise Him by Lauren Chandler. Lauren tells the story of a cute little girl who is praising the lord for all the beautiful things around in nature. Praise him goes through the sunny days, the stormy days, and the dark evening but knowing that God is always there helps you to praise him for everything from the littlest things to the great big miracles. It also helps us remember that no matter how dark and hard life can be, God is always there for us no matter what and we just have to Praise him for the wonderful life he has given us. I love the Christian picture books that are published these days as back when I was a little child, we never had these books which is a shame as I would have enjoyed them and we would have had a collection of them at home. Praise Him by Lauren Chandler is a picture book aimed at children aged 3- 6 years old.

Rhyming text encourages little ones to praise God in every time and circumstance and reminds them of His constant presence and care.

Beautiful reminders that God is with us through good days and bad, and that praise even when we don’t feel like it reminds us of His goodness and lifts our spirits. The art style grew on me as the pages went on and I think little readers will enjoy it. The text is simple but poignant and the rhyme is well done. A great choice for Christian families or schools, as this helps points hearts and minds back toward the One who is the source of our joy and hope and peace.

I received an ARC of this title from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

What a lovely book with a wonderful message! This book will help children realize, and remember, that God is always with us (even during the bad days or when we feel alone). The illustrations and vibrant and engaging, and the rhymes/story are short and delightfully rhymed. A great book for families to read together or for new readers to try on their own.
