Marta is at a turning point in life and she takes off for a new location for 6 months during which she finds herself meeting and working for Eduardo. Eduardo too is heading for a transition and their relationship results in them both learning about themselves. This was a book I enjoyed well enough but can't say everyone must read it. 3.5 stars for me rounding up to a 4.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
I simply love the plot, the book cover and the ending.
However, I really wanted to be more connected to the main characters. The writing is engaging but I wanted to know about the characters, specifically more than what was being told about the male lead.
A cosy weekend/evening read.
Marta seems like she deserves someone who sees her more than she is. She does.
Thank you, BQB Publishing, for the advance reading copy.
