Of course I enjoy the characters and the plots HOWEVER after 3 I am wondering how long this will go on for? I think I'm ready for something new.

A big thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press/Minotaur Books for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series, but reads okay. This is cute but I wasn't sure what the plot was exactly. The characters were quirky. I liked it but I liked the first one better. 3.5 stars

I’m all done with this series. I loved the first book, but DNF’d the second and didn’t love this third installment. It feels like the same basic problem is just being stretched out continuously so Finlay doesn’t have to do anything else criminal (other than sneaking around). There were some scenes in her I enjoyed (in the last 1/4), but so much of it felt like explaining the situation (that I assumed happened in an earlier book).

I loved it! Elle Cosimano does a great job of reminding you where the story left off without too much preamble. I love how she mixes the characters history with jumping right into the action so you don’t feel bored by the reminders. Watching Findlay and Vero’s friendship hit new depths was great and loved all her vulnerable moments with Nick!

While nothing will beat the fun and joy of the first Finlay this is still a comfort series and just a great finale to FInlays story.

Finlay Donovan is back again and she and her sidekick are still up their mischievous chaos. This is still the outlandish, fun story that the other books have.!

I love how Vero and Finlay always get in mischief and I love Finlay and Nick's relationship and banter. Of course though when her ex-husband Steven is around you know their will be some tension with him and Nick.

I did not believe this one left in a cliff hanger! I now need the next one to come out because this is all I will be thinking about until the next book comes!

Thank you Netgalley and St. Martin's for the ARC in exchange for my honest review

Finlay is back with her sidekick Vero. They have been assigned by Feliks to find out who is out to get him and eliminate them. Fortunately for Finlay, she has never actually murdered anyone but in regards to Feliks unfortunately, she is in a predicament. To top everything off, she finds out that Vero is a fugitive in Virginia for an alleged theft and owes a loan shark in New Jersey a significant sum of money. In short, she's back in another predicament and somehow ends up signed up for a police bootcamp as research for her novel. Finlay needs to submit her next novel to get paid but she has writer's block and needs to figure it out so Vero pushes them into doing this so she can get past it. Nick, her love interest, who is a cop is helping run this police bootcamp. All manner of havoc ensues as Finlay and Vero try not to get implicated in any of the crimes that certain people think they committed. Finlay also gets past her fear of being with Nick. It feels like there is still much more left in this series because the reveal at the end and the ensuing cliffhanger leave lots of questions to be answered. I've also enjoyed Finlay's story but it feels like it's getting a bit too complex now. It was still a fun read with all the messes that Finlay and Vero get themselves into.

I love all things Finlay and Vero. I found myself rooting for Nick and Steve this time around. Loved this book and all the crazy antics!

Overall this book seems to be relying on the silly and playful vibes of the first but something was off. Maybe there needed to be more of a plot or something to keep this up.

What a ride! I always look forward to the next Finlay book. Outlandish hijinks, crazy mom-life and a dynamic duo that will rival you and your bestie. The third installment did not disappoint and dare I say, I enjoyed it more than the second!?

Our favorite crime-fighting duo is back and this time, Finlay and Vero enroll themselves at a police academy trying to figure out who could be EasyClean while still under the watchful eye of mob boss, Feliks Zhirov. Through some undercover sleuthing and hands-on training, new and old characters equally raise eyebrows in being possible suspects. Add in Vero's sticky financial situation and her relationship with Javi and Finlay's entanglements with ex-husband, Steven and hot cop, Nick.. you know things are going to be intense.

If there's one thing I've learned from the Finlay Donovan series, it's that you have to not take it too seriously. It's outlandish, it's crazy, but man, this series is just entertaining as hell. The lines and humor were just top notch in this installment. I could not stop laughing!

This series came to me at the right time. I was navigating motherhood as a new mom and Finlay Donovan has been such a reprieve from all the overwhelm of being a new parent. Coming across a protagonist who's not only a mom but a hilarious one at that made the hardships of motherhood a little less lonely. If you're in need of a good laugh and a series to get lost in, look no further. The Finlay Donovan series is where it's at. Fingers crossed we don't have to wait too long for the next one in the series!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for providing me an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Loved it! Finlay Donovan is a comfort trilogy for me. While you do have to read the first two in order for this one to make sense, the author does do a good job of reminding you of pertinent details. I enjoy a good mystery, and being able to laugh out loud while reading is refreshing!

Thanks to NetGalley for this copy in exchange for my honest review.

I am so happy I got the this Arc. I absolutely LOVE this series and this book was no exception!!! I whipped through this book in no time at all.

I loved Finlay, Vero and Nick in this different setting. The police academy was a nice touch. I couldn't wait to see what this duo would get up to!

The third book in the series had me laughing and on the edge of my seat. Who is easy clean ? Will finlay and vero find out? Or will it be too late ? I had my money on the wrong person even if I was sure of it!

I loved seeing how the romance developed between the Nick and Finlay.

My only complaint is that I want to read the next book in the series right now! I didn't think it would end on such a cliff hanger.

Thanks to netgalley, st martins press and Minotaur book for this ARc. I loved every second of it.

I love Finlay Donovan! She and her nanny/friend Vero get into all sorts of trouble, seemingly by accident.

In this book, Finlay owes the mafia, and is asked to ID an assassin who might be a police officer like her beau Nick. He’s running a citizen’s police academy for a week, and Finlay and Vera think it’s a great place to get away from the mafia. Of course, Nick doesn’t know about Finlay’s exploits.

This is an entertaining book with nonstop action. I highly recommend it, 4 stars.

I am sorry, but Finlay will never not have my whole heart. She is so much FUN! I love Finlay and Vera's relationship so dang much, and I can never put these books down. Overall, 10/10 recommend!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Finlay Donovan series so far! Book two was so dang good and I was ready to jump straight into book three. Jumps the Gun did not disappoint! I am good and hooked on this storyline and love Finlay, Vero, the kids, Nick, and, I’m saying it!, Theresa and Amy! Every new character that appears is amazing. In this book we added several police officers as Finlay and Vero attend a Citizen’s Police Academy. The chaos that ensues is amazing. So well written and kept me laughing while still in a bit of suspense! This series is packed with enough action and romance to keep you hooked through each new book!

I was glad to see Finlay and Nick get some more time together and Julian kind of take a back burner. There’s soooo much chemistry with Nick and I’m super excited to see where their relationship goes in the next book!

I also LOVE Vero. She’s the best comedic relief and I am always cracking up at her comebacks and at her antics. I really wanted more of her story with Javi, and more about her past/leading into wanting more about the current uhem, legal predicament she is in… not related to hiding bodies. That being said, I feel like this book was a huge build up for a book four plot and I CANNOT WAIT to find out what will happen next!

As for Feliks, I’m so into the whole plot line with that!! And Kat?! Here for all of it!! And… the ending of Jumps the Gun is AMAZING. I just can’t expand on any of this without spoiling it.

3.5 stars!

What a fun third book. I have loved following Finley and Vero throughout the series. This book was funny, sweet, mysterious, and medium paced. A type of book you can binge in a few days! The police squad and Nick were a fun addition. I will say some of the dialogue was a bit over the top and awkward. Overall it’s entertaining and I’d recommend!!

These books are so fun. I love the cozy mystery/comedy genre. I could read these all day!
In the third installment of Finlay's adventures, she is of course trying to get her shit together and naturally things go awry. I've seen a lot of reviews that said that this book was boring or didn't have any plot, but I disagree! I was thoroughly invested and enjoyed this book! I loved getting more Finlay and Nick. And of course, I love Vero and her shenanigans. I'm glad that we are going to get a little more of Vero's backstory (it seems like!)
I'm excited to see how Finlay's story continues to play out.

Fun read - entertaining - laugh out loud funny. There are times when you just need to read some well-written silliness. The Finlay Donovan series is just that. This title is the third one in the series. 'Finlay Donovan Is Killing It' is the first. Finlay Donovan Knocks 'Em Dead is the second. While it is not necessary, I think it is best to read this series in order. You get a fuller understanding of the characters and the reasons behind their actions. The character development is great even with all of their quirkiness or perhaps because of it! I love that Finlay is an author. She writes from her experiences - they are so unbelievable that they belong in fiction! It is comparable to watching/reading a ROM-COM only with contract killers and dead bodies - along side kids and diaper bags. The sexy police detective is icing on the cake. Enjoyable reading with many laugh out loud moments! I am waiting for the next in the series with a smile!

The third Finlay Donovan book was just as fun and full of adventure as the first two!

Many thanks to @netgalley and @minotaur_books for my e-arc in exchange for an honest review. This one just published on Tuesday Jan 31, so you can grab your copy now!

What I love about these books, is that they are filled with so many ridiculous moments/adventures you can’t help but laugh and shake your head at what Finlay and Vera get up to!

This one was a little bit different, as most of the “action” took place at a police academy training camp! Lots of police-related fun, and Finlay trying (and mostly failing) to work on her manuscript.

If you have read the first two books, then you will enjoy this one! You don’t have to read the first two before reading this one, as they are all standalone books, but follow the same characters. Also, the author set up the ending perfectly for book 4!! Can’t wait to read that one!
