I honestly never want this series to end--it has become a comfort read for me. Finlay and Vero continue their shenanigans in this book and they still continuously find themselves in a situation they need to untangle from. And there is a scene in this book that literally made me want to scream "FINALLY" out loud (iykyk).

Thank you NetGalley and St. Martins Press for this arc in exchange for my honest review!

This is such a fun series! Full of mystery, adventure, humor and romance. Can't wait to read the next one.

Finlay and Vero are at it again! These two ladies always find themselves in the worst situations and I am here for it. This picked up not far from where book two left off and I loved it! There are lots of characters to keep track of, which did get confusing at times, but overall it was a hit. I can't wait to continue with the series!

Finlay Donovan is back! It’s amazes me how Finlay and Vero keep getting in these insane situations. This book takes us to a police academy and then on a roller coaster to find the illusive EasyClean!
This book left so much room for another and it was amazing leading to so many different suspects and this is a wild ride up until the very last page!!!!

I was so excited to get approved for book #3 in the Finlay Donovan Series. Unfortunately, I did not love this one like I did the other two! I was so excited to see where Finlay and Nick's relationship would go... frustratingly enough, it didn't really go anywhere. But Nick was to die for in this book, I have a serious book crush!

I didn't feel like the storyline for Vero and Finlay's mischief was believable, more so in this book than the first two. The plot was kind of non-existent. The whole book centered around their week at the police academy, during which, nothing happened except extensive physical activity. I also had trouble keeping track of the mob characters/antagonists.

Thankfully, it still had the humour of the first two books, but the plot was boring and all the action happened in the first 10-15% and the last 10% of the book. The middle was kind of.. unnecessary.

Finlay Donovan is back again in the third installment of the series. I listened to the audiobook and loved the narrators! They brought the story to life and was so much fun to listen to. I really enjoyed this. I loved the dynamic between Finlay and Vern they are hilarious!

Finlay finds herself in the middle of a huge mess when she is asked by a Russian mob boss to perform an impossible task. Finlay and Vero attend lessons on handling and shooting guns and get in tons of trouble a long the way.

Oh Finlay, how I love you.

Finlay is back for book 3 and if you enjoyed the other 2 installments, this will surely be a big hit. Full of hilarity and hijinks, Finlay and her nanny, Vero, find themselves in more improbable scenarios.

I enjoyed the love angle, and I became an even bigger fan of Vero. She literally steals the show.

The book ends with a nice volley for book 4.

I absolutely adore the Finlay Donovan books. However this one felt a bit more like a filler book then anything else.

I loved the first Finlay Donovan, and thought the second was good. The third book is a continuation of the fun characters, but so interconnected to the past cases that instead of the tension feeling heightened, the questions feel a bit drawn out. It's easy to root for Finlay and Vero, and there are a lot of action-packed scenes here, but it didn't feel as cohesive to me as her past books. Will be perfect for devoted fans!

I was so excited for another look into the hijinks that are Finlay and Vero. These are just fun, easy reads. You definitely have to suspend all belief while reading them but that is what makes it such a fun time.

Finlay and Vero are back, this time we have two plot lines in progress….the identity of EasyClean for Finlay and evading loan sharks for Vero. We have more hot cop action (finally) in this one although I’m still sad about law student/Julian not working out. Finlay and Vero join Finlay’s sister, Georgia, and Nick and their fellow police officers for civilian police training to try to figure out the identity of EasyClean and hide out from Atlantic City loan sharks. I feel like we are still missing so much depth from Vero and man, Steven really still sucks, but overall I really enjoyed this one.

I loved being back in Finlay's world! It's so crazy and wild, but I love it lol

This might actually be my favorite book of the series so far! I really liked the training camp they went to and how that played into the storyline. I did not guess who Easy Clean was. That was a good twist to me.

I'm not a huge fan of Finlay's story she is writing. It's too cheesy that it's so close to "real life" and I tend to gloss over those parts. I also am over the Felix story line. Ready to wrap that up and see what other mischief Finlay and Vero can get into.

I can't wait for book 4!

I am fan of the Finlay Donovan series. The books have a nice blend of romance, action and craziness. What sets the series apart from others of its type is that Finlay is a mother and encounters a lot of the issues that come along with motherhood. She's also navigating divorce and stepping out into relationships after the fact. It's a lot to handle without the Russian mafia, bodies showing up, a friend and roommate who is carrying her own baggage, and a whole lot of misfortune. What is wonderful about the series is that it's done in a way that you cheer for Finlay and laugh at all the ways things go sideways.

Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun is book three in the series. Like the other books, the story picks up where it was left off. There are no huge surprises or needing to play catch up with the plot. There is plenty of action and readers will see a progression in not only Finlay's story but Vero's as well. The book did seem to move a bit slower than the others in the series. While a lot happened and we learned a lot more about the characters, it read like a transition novel. Of course the book ended leaving some big questions about one of the regular characters and their involvement in other possible bad things. Overall, it was a fun read. It has just the right amount of mystery to keep you guessing. A lot of questions were answered from previous books and a few more were created. I enjoyed the book and I know my library patrons will as well.

AVAILABLE NOW! This is the highly anticipated third installment in the Finlay Donovan series going. I was a little afraid with this being the third book that Cosimano wouldn’t be able to make the magic happen again. I am glad to report that those fears were completely unfounded.

This book was every bit as funny and endearing as the first two. The witty banter from Finlay and Vero is unmatched. Finlay is still a struggling novelist and single mom with a bum for an ex-husband who seemingly has his own secret he’s keeping. Finlay is given two deadlines: One is from her publisher to change her manuscript, and the second is from the incarcerated Feliks to find out who the elusive easy clean is or else.

Finlay and Vero enter into practice police academy to try to learn all that they can about a few police officers because they’re pretty sure that easy clean is a cop. It’s also a good hiding place from Feliks and the loan shark that is looking for Vero. The readers will also get to see Finlay’s former fling as well as the hot cop that Finlay can’t seem to stop thinking about. Will she finally let someone get close to her heart?

You will have to read this one to find out exactly what happens but I’m telling you this was laugh out loud funny just like the first two and it did not disappoint. Finlay and Vero are the two most funny and infectious characters. You find yourself wishing that they were real so you could be friends with them in real life.

I’ve never said this about a book, but the Finlay Donovan series really should be turned into a TV series. It would be an absolute hit. I don’t see how no one has picked it up yet! Thank you to Elle Cosimano for this amazing book. A special thank you to the publisher and netgalley for this ARC!

I missed Finlay and Vero! I loved this series because it is a mystery, romance, and humor all in one amazing package!

In this latest installment, I enjoyed the setting of the police academy and the close proximity with Nick.

I am loving this series and I can’t wait to read more books about Finlay and Vero. If you are looking for a book that is fun and entertaining, this is the book for you!

I was fortunate enough to interview Elle Cosimano (for a second time) about her Finlay Donovan series. Like I said to her, the experience of listening to this audiobook was like reconnecting with old friends. I had missed Finlay and Vero and was happy and excited to see what they were up to! The new setting of Citizens Police Academy helped the story feel fresh. Unlike books one and two, FINLAY DONOVAN JUMPS THE GUN definitely feels like a piece of a series and less of a complete book that could stand alone. Not to be read without the other two first.

Finlay and her sidekick Vero are at it once again. This time, it's set at a week-long police academy type setting for civilians. I know you're wondering why they would sign up for this? Because it's Finlay and Vero, and that's what they do; get into crazy situations.
The book has the most hilarious opening that I've ever read.😄
If you're looking for a funny mystery series, look no more!

Single Mom, Finlay, and her nanny, Vero, find adventure again. Once again, it is Russian Mob vs soccer mom in this third book in this series. Laugh-out-loud funny, This book finds our dynamic duo at a Citizen Police Boot camp weekend to try and find the identity of a shady character known as "Easy Clean." Once again, there are dead bodies, close calls and veiled threats. All of the quirky characters from the earlier books make an appearance in this one...culminating in a cringe-worthy and hysterically funny mock courtroom scene. This one does feel a little more contrived than the first two books, but it is still a funny and action-packed enjoyable read.

All was hectic as Finlay and Vero continue to get into all kinds of trouble. I would read the series in order, as they do continue the threads from the earlier two books. Finlay has writer’s block as she tries to finish her latest book, while Nick remains unaware of her involvement with Feliks. All comes to a head as Finlay and Vero attend a training week for civilians to learn about policing. Thinking they would be safe surrounded by cops was one of those wrong assumptions. The book was exciting and left you wanting more. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

The third installment of the Finlay Donovan series doesn't disappoint.

She and Vero, her nanny/accountant/partner-in-crime, are still trying to wrangle the kids, stay clear of Finlay's ex-husband, get the Russian mob off their backs, all while trying to finish her book that the editor won't accept until she puts in a sex scene with the hot cop that may or may not sound suspiciously like Detective Nick Anthony. It's a lot. And that's what I love above Finlay. She's got so much going on and she juggles it all, not gracefully, or with tact most times, but she forges ahead tripping up hilariously along the way.

There's definitely going to be another book, and at this point, I'm not ready to say goodbye to any of these characters, so I'm here for it.
