Book one was really impressive because it felt really fresh and unique. I read this (book 3) thinking it was book 2 and quickly realizing there hadn't been a time jump, I'd skipped a book! Book 3 continues the farcical story of Finn and Vero. At time over-the-top it is still fun and quirky. The books could make a fun TV series.

This book killed it!
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the 2nd book honestly, it was more boring and seemed to paint characters in the wrong light but this one! Elle brought back ALL of the Finley / Vero vibes! I will follow them to their inevitable end and enjoy every moment of it 🤣

The different setting was refreshing and WAY less Steven is preferred.

I enjoyed this one so much for the plot but also bringing some of the best characters together plus some new great ones!

Finlay and Vero are back! Andddddd, in more trouble than ever before! Feliks may be behind bars, but that isn’t stopping him from threatening the duo if they don’t find out who easy clean is. Lucky for them, a new citizens police camp just opened, which gives them plenty of time to try to find the dirty cop they believe is easyclean. Will being under Nick and several other cops noses give them away though?

I mean do I really even need to say anything? This is Finlay Donovan we are talking about! As per usual, she did not disappoint. These books just keep giving us the hysterical accidental hired killer vibes we all need in our lives! Or, maybe thats just me? Finlay and Vero keep me on my toes wondering what they will get up to next, and I just could not adore them more! I can’t wait to see where this story goes next! Please keep them coming @ellecosimano!

I love the Finlay Donovan series! They’re funny, a little bit mysterious and lighthearted. Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun is no different. While I did enjoy the third book, I was kind of hoping for more. I feel like the story line with Feliks and EasyClean has run it’s course at this point. I also wish we would get some chapters from Vero’s viewpoint since we definitely learned more about her and her past in this book.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and if there are going to be more books in the series I would read them. They are entertaining and easy to read!

Elle Cosimano has done it again! I am a huge fan of the Finlay Donovan series and I loved this one. It took several twists and turns that I was not expecting! I liked the police academy classes. Yet another fun Finlay Donovan book has arrived! Get ready for more madcap adventures with everyone's favorite hot mess mom! This was an entertaining installment in this series that answered a few questions and moved some personal plot lines along.

Finlay Donovan is back at it. She made a deal with the devil in the last book and now it's time to pay up. Can she find out who is behind a blackmailing scheme before it all blows up in her face? And does she have the courage to take a chance on a relationship with the hot cop, Nick? And will they solve Vero's issues? Read to find out!

Does the plot really matter in these books? Finlay has gotten herself into a mess and things continue to unravel around her. That's the premise of the last three books. The cases kind of all run together for me, but the ride is always fun and unpredictable! I liked the Citizen's Police Academy setting of this book for a change up. I liked lots of Nick-time and getting some background on Vero.

Did some of this book feel like an area that we've already tread over? Yes. Was it entertaining and an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon? Also, yes. I love the characters here but would love some wrap up. Finlay continues to get into mess after mess, and it feels like the story/series is being stretched out longer than it should.

Finlay has been killin’ it, knocking ‘em dead, and yet she still jumps the gun into more crazy adventures with Vero, who is her accountant or nanny depending on who you ask.

I really loved the opener, we usually get a glance at Finlay in mom mode here and it always makes me laugh so much. Because I can relate.

I forgot a little exactly what happened with Vero at the end of book 2, but this book did a great job of filling in the gaps if you too forgot as well. These girls are always getting into crazy positions.

ALSO THE SPY AND COP. That’s all I will say. I’m glad they explored the romance part a little more in this romantic suspense. Though there are still many questions.

The final question though after all this scheming (who else didn’t guess the bad person correctly?!) is WHAT IS UP WITH STEVEN?!

I love Finlay! This series is so much fun. It's laugh out loud funny. I can't wait for the next one!!!

Elle Cosimano has done it again in book 3 of the Finley Donovan series. These books just keep getting better .I already can't wait for book 4. Yes! There will be a 4th book! In Finley Donovan Jumps the Gun the antics get wilder, the romance heats up, the characters become more defined, and the mystery keeps growing.
This one will make you laugh out loud once again at the unbelievable antics Finley and Vero get themselves into. It will also have you on the edge of your seat because the cliffhanger we're left with is a doozy. This is a must read for fun mystery lovers.

Finlay and Vero are back with another crazy adventure and I couldn’t have been more excited! If you loved the other two books in this series, you are sure to be entertained with the latest instalment… more absolutely absurd adventures, a whole lot of laughs and even more heart.

I enjoyed this book but not as much as the first and second ones. I loved being back with Finlay and Vero, reading about their next assignment. The relationship between Finlay and Nick was perfect. The suspense of all of them being in the police academy together while trying to complete their assignment it kept me wanting to read more.

I love these humorous fun romps with Finlay and Vero. This was another fun book of twists and turns from Elle Cosimano! The relationship between Finlay and Vero is the absolute best and the hijinks that they get into are laugh out loud hilarious. Their relationship is “friendship goals”. I love the sizzling will-they-or won’t-they tension between Finlay and Nick. Elle Cosimano does a really good job of keeping you in the loop with what happened in the previous books. I love Finlay and all her escapades. They are more outlandish in each book, but always fun! If you’re a Finlay Donovan fan, you’ll whip through this in no time and be ready for more. I'm already counting down the days until I can get my hands on a copy of the fourth book! She really knows how to end on a cliffhanger! This is now the third book in the series so I’m going to assume you’re a fan like me. Finlay and Vero find themselves still involved with the Russian mob and multiple other sticky situations. They decide to take an offer to go to a special citizens police academy to find a contract killer. Nothing ever works out the way Finlay and Vero intend but hilarity always ensues. I literally cannot get enough of this series. The wit, the suspense, the twists make this series one of the first I recommend to friends. And the third book is no different than the first two. The only negative? They don’t come out fast enough! At first, it took me a while to remember all the details of the previous books, but Elle Cosimano is just such a brilliant storyteller.

This is the third in the Finlay Donovan series and while definitely entertaining, it’s not as strong as the prior two.
The story takes up immediately from book two. Finally is in debt to Felicks, the Russian mob leader, after he bought the car she wrecked in FDK’ED. Felicks is in jail but still calling the shots. And he wants Finlay to find and kill a contract killer. A killer who may be a cop. Finlay and Vero decide to investigate while attending a Citizens Police Academy week. Comedy ensues, as the two women get in one scrap after another. If the written word can be called slapstick, that’s how I would characterize the plot here. There’s just enough romance without it being obtrusive.
This series needs to be read in order and I don’t recommend reading this as a stand-alone. I’m not a big fan of cliffhangers and this one ends with a doozy. Cosimano also leaves two big questions unanswered. But at least that means there will be a book four.

Another hilarious installment of an accidental hit woman and her band of merry friends. Super enjoyed the twist and turns of this one. Finlay is super fun to read and I feel this might be the best book yet. The citizens police academy added an extra layer of fun with all the different training exercises and surprises that are stacked within. I hope to see much more of Finlay because I am not throughly invested and addicted!

This series is so fun, and I think book 3 has been my favorite to read. Finlay and Vero are so funny together and their antics are ridiculous in the best way. I really liked the setting of this book and thought them being at the police academy was great. It brought something new and fresh to the series. Yes, a lot of what happens is not realistic, but that’s what makes the book fun. If you’ve enjoyed the first two books in the series definitely give this one a go.
