The audiobook was cute, but I am sure I would enjoy the illustrations more with a digital or physical book. Cute Halloween story

Great and cute story. I love the background music but the narrator gives me the creeps with his voice and how slow he talks.

This book is so cute! My little readers loved hearing and reading this book with me and seeing animals go through the same traditions and costumes. There's also a really beautiful celebration of each of the animals' particular tastes and attributes as well as coming back home, back to mom to snuggle in away from the scary. I loved these little touches.

I just listened to this with my 3.5 year old tonight. It was adorable and we knew what the characters looked like, thanks to the cover, but would definitely need alll the visuals for this age. Look forward to checking out the finished product - as we definitely love Halloween and trick or treating in this house.

If animals trick or treated, what would they do?

This book adorably describes how each animal would celebrate Halloween.

Owlet, piglet, leopard, panther, bear, parrot and the list goes on, each with a sweet description.

The narrator is expressive and does a good job.

It might be a good idea to listen to this along with the book so kids could look at the illustrations too.

My kids love audiobooks, but sometimes they just don't work as well for certain books. I feel this is one of those books. My kids still say they really liked the book (4/5 star votes all around) but I think it would be greatly benefitted by the illustrations to go along with the story. I wanted to see the animals as they trick-or-treated. It was a cute book and for those who need the audio I would definitely recommend this one but like I said want to also see this in print. I will be checking my local library after pub day for this one.

The story is about an owl and his mom carving pumpkins and what it would be like if they went trick or treating. The story describes different kinds of animals and what costumes they would wear. And if they were passing out treats what kinds of treats they would give out. (I would probably try the honey gummy bears). Bradley Whitford has a great voice and did a very good job narrating the story.

This audiobook is so cute! Kids will love the rhyming, and can imagine exactly what the animals are doing. The music and background noises make audiobook even better! This book is sure to get kids excited for Halloween. This is a great book to begin assessing reading comprehension and other questions with students. I would recommend this book to teachers and parents of young kids.

Only get this book if you plan on listening to/reading this on repeat! My girls (ages 3 and 5, but especially the 3 year old) LOVE this book! As soon as it is over she says ‘play it again!’ A must for Halloween and animal lovers!

I requested this audiobook for the narrator knowing he would deliver and he did! I listened to this story with our two younger children and we enjoyed it. The narration was great and the story is cute. I liked the music and sound affects included in the audiobook.

If Animals Kissed Goodnight has been a favorite of my daughters since before she could speak so we were both so excited when I was approved for this audio!

It’s a very cute story and the audio was done very well. I do wish We could’ve listened at 1x the speed rather than 1.25x, it was hard to decipher all the words clearly and we needed to listen multiple times to understand it all.. But we both enjoyed it and will definitely be recommending the print version for Halloween!

If Animals Trick-or-Treated by Ann Whitford Paul was such a clever story. The audio was so cute and should definitely be used in the classroom to help students in an audio center in school. If the rest of the pictures are anything like the cover, students, teachers and parents alike will enjoy this story. A fresh new Halloween story that is sure to be a treat with all readers.
