Intense perfection!

In book four in the Mikes brother saga we get baby brother Christopher and Hayden’s love story. This author kinda takes this billionaire playboy so out far of his comfort zone it often made me cringe, laugh and pleasantly pleased. Hayden is the sweet hometown girl and has know idea who Christopher really is because he took a year without money to find himself and hostels is were it all begins.

The author writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shockingly intimate I have become a huge fan of this author. The author writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

Authors Blurb: I’m wealthy, powerful, and able to get any woman I want.
So why do I feel so empty inside?
In search of a deeper me, I take a sabbatical from my privileged life. One year of backpacking around Europe: a new identity, no contacts, and no money. Not a bad plan, I think.
Until I get there.
A crowded hostel room, body odor, and beer bongs—there are no words for the fresh hell I’ve landed in.
But amid the chaos, I meet my new roommate, Hayden Whitmore. She sleeps in the bed opposite me, and I openly admit to staring at her more than I sleep. Beautiful, innocent, and smart. Not my usual type but perhaps the perfect woman.
There’s just one small problem with the divine Miss Hayden. She’s totally unaffected by my charm. Nothing is working, and now, I’ve been friend zoned.
What?
But the good thing about me is that I’m an incredible problem solver, and I’ve come up with a diabolical plan. I’m going to slide right in under her friend zone. Be the best damn friend she ever had, hold her hand, make her laugh, and spoon with her in bed.
But now there’s another problem.
Hayden is the one who is sliding under my skin, and maybe friendship isn’t enough.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

My heart felt like it was going to burst so many times while reading this.
Christopher has such a big heart & it took him backpacking for a whole year to see what changes he needed to make in his life. He’s a city boy, who has more money than he knows what to do with & hasn’t done much things for himself as money can buy you all the help so you don’t need to do things yourself.
Hayden is your typical country gal, works on her parents farm & prefers the country over the city. Taking a year to go backpacking to get out there & experience more of the world was something she planned awhile ago, finally the time has come & it couldnt be a more perfect experience for her.

Eddie, oh Eddie. That kid has my whole heart & more. He was too precious for his own good.
I loved the big part he plays in this story, especially towards the end!

I will hands down never shut up about this one.
I’m sorry Elliot, but Christopher has just knocked you off the pedestal!
Absolute chefs fkn kiss!

The Do-Over by T L Swan is book 4 in the Miles High Club series. First, if you haven't started this series, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?! It is hands down one of my favorites and I couldn't wait for this book to come out! While each book has focused on a different Miles brother, this book focuses on the youngest brother, Christopher. I basically want to tell you everything that happens but will leave it for you to enjoy. I did not want this book to end. Not only was the book epic but a perfect way to end the series. Please do not read this as a standalone. Read the whole series and you can thank me later!

2.5/5🔥

This is a tough one for me. I had high expectations for Christopher’s book and I feel a bit let down. I enjoyed each book prior but this one fell flat for me. The writing seemed choppy and lost my interest at times. I feel like there were certain things that were just thrown into the story but ultimately went nowhere and served no purpose. The last book I read from her was Ferrara and I absolutely loved it. Something about this seemed off. It didn’t feel the same.

I understand Christopher is supposed to be the younger, immature brother but he was a straight up jerk at times. I know if I were Hayden, I would have said see ya! I think Hayden caved too easily and became a pushover. I get she loved Christopher but he treated her terribly at times. All in all, I felt like everything was rushed and not very organic.

On a positive note, there were several funny moments and I loved seeing all the interactions with the brothers! I’m looking forward to the extended epilogue.

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The Do-Over was a slightly disappointing end to this series. I was hoping that Christopher's book would be more like The Take Over. I wasn't a huge fan of the romance in this book. Christopher was a sell entitled jerk who only cared about himself despite saying he was changed. Hayden was a huge pushover. She wouldn't stand up for herself or what she wanted. And in the end, she still was a push over. They couldn't communicate with each other at all. I loved the travel setting but we didn't actually get to see them on any of their adventures. We only saw them at the housing base and at their jobs. I would have loved seeing the two of them exploring different countries. I liked seeing the other couples for a short time in the book but would have loved to see her meet the other wife who is more down to earth. I really can't wait to see what the new epilogue book will have in it.

Thank you to Amazon Publishing UK for the advanced reading copy via Netgalley, the receipt of which did not impact my review.

The Do-Over by T.L. Swan focuses on Christopher Miles, the youngest brother and arguably the most spoiled/entitled. After a little tantrum, he goes backpacking through Europe for twelve months with a small account balance (for him) to get started and is determined to keep his identity a secret. At the first hostel in Spain, he meets a group of core friends that define his experiences for the year - most notably, Hayden Whitmore. Hayden is a small-town girl who grew up on a cattle farm in the Finger Lakes and has a degree in animal husbandry, with plans to take over the family business after her father retires. Their real lives couldn't be farther from each other - and there are understandable conflicts and concerns when the truth comes out and real life gets in the way.

I enjoyed this book and found it entertaining, though some references and words used toward women were a little outdated. The chapters featuring the relationships between the brothers were very fun and sweet. And now to go back and read the first three books in the series!

I really enjoyed Chrstopher and Hayden's story! This one did not disappoint. I really enojyed watching him struggle through out this rad. I also like that she stayed true to herself and did not change who she was.

I’m so grateful to NetGalley and Montlake Publishing for the eARC of The Do-Over.

The Do Over focuses on Christopher Miles, the last of the Miles brothers. The characters were likable and overall I enjoyed the story. I loved getting updates on the other brothers and “seeing” them happy with their families from the previous books.

Spoilers:
I had a hard time buying that Hayden would forgive 12 months of lying after a few hours of pouting, but ended everything over rainy weather. I was too invested in the story by this point to quit, but it was a tough sell for me.

Overall I love everything TL Swan writes and would recommend this book and the series to a friend!

Going into The Do-Over blind was the best decision I have ever made! Christopher Miles is even better then I expected! He starts of as this entitled, spoiled brat but quickly turns into a fun, loving and caring character, especially with his Hostel roommates.

Hayden is a typical country girl sent out in the world by her mother to experience life.
I loooved her and Christoph together alot. Their story starts out as friends but turns into this really sweet relationship.

I have to admit I think The Do-Over has to be the best book in this series and that says alot, since I seriously loooooved The Takeover!

While I generally enjoyed the Miles High series, I had trouble connecting with this one. There were some editing issues I had a hard time getting past (mostly inconsistencies), and both the hero and the heroine’s dialogs felt forced - like certain things were only said to get a pint across to the reader, where it could have been woven into the plot better.
That aid, I enjoyed the spice and the genuine drama.

Christian, feeling lost in his life at Miles Media, decides to take a year long sabbatical (must be nice) to go backpacking and traveling through the world in order to find himself. He sets off to Spain with $2,000 and his huge ego in tow, where he meets Hayden who turns his life upside down.

Christian is a typical entitled Miles brother. Hayden is a country bumpkin who is happiest hanging out on her family farm. They became friends first, before taking their relationship to the next level. However, the part I most enjoyed in this book were the side characters. Baz and Bodie were hilarious, & I adored Eddie for bringing out Christian’s soft side.

Now to touch briefly on the things that contributed to the 2 stars I knocked off of my rating. 1) Christian said/did some pretty hurtful things that I personally feel were not necessary. 2) I don’t feel like the couple actually learned from the big conflict in order to make their relationship stronger. 3) While this book was spicy, I don’t feel like the couple had any sexual chemistry. 4) I feel like Hayden’s strong will slipped away as the book went on, which was disappointing.

I am such a huge fan of TL Swan’s and her Miles High Club series is one of my all-time favorites! So to say I’ve been both anxiously awaiting but yet also dreading the end of this series is an understatement. It’s so bittersweet ,but The Do-Over and Christopher were both so amazing and I honestly can’t wait to go back and read about the Miles brothers again! This series is one I recommend to everyone that is a fan of romance.

The Do-Over was a lot different than I was expecting, yet I really loved it! Christopher was so much more than you’d expect at first glance and I honestly loved him so much. He was funny and witty, sweet and sexy. I loved him and Hayden, their chemistry was there right from the start. I loved seeing their friendship grow and strengthen as this story progressed and I loved seeing their interactions with the rest of the characters as well, especially Eddie!

This book might have had a different feel than the rest of the series, but it was such a good story and I honestly loved seeing a different side to Christopher than I expected. I was so sad to finish this book even though I loved it, but with TL Swan’s announcement of Miles Ever After, her novel of extended epilogues for the Miles brothers, she has given us something to look forward to with all these beloved characters! I seriously cannot recommend this series enough, if you haven’t already read them, you are missing out! Can’t wait for Swan’s next book, but especially more of these amazing brothers and their families.

This did not work for me. The book opens with the male MC in bed with two women he refers to as "hobags". To their faces. And they apparently think this is funny and charming. It doesn't really get much better from there. This guy is spoiled, careless, entitled, and selfish and I didn't really see any improvement over his experiment of going off the grid. I couldn't like or respect him, so I had no interest in reading about him.

Fans of erotica or dark romance might find this more enjoyable. As a romance, it left me cold.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review.

This is my first time reading this author and series. I read this as a standalone.
I really liked the romance in The Do-Over. Friends to lovers is such an underrated trope and it's done very well here. It's also a slow burn so be prepared for pining! I liked that the friendship between Hayden and Chris seemed genuine and realistic. They had an instant connection and just understood each other. Their friendship made their journey to love all the sweeter.
Chris I had a really had time rooting for. He just came off as very cringey and unlikeable for majority of the novel. He does have some redeeming moments but they are far and few between.
I did enjoy the premise (as someone who wanted to backpack when I was younger). I think the descriptions and events for this part of the book were well done and make me want to travel even more.
Overall this is a fun, quick read just be prepared for an unlikable hero.

Those Miles brothers just have my heart. I didn't want to like Christopher. He starts out this book exactly how I don't enjoy characters to be. But his growth in finding himself on a year abroad and his LOVE for Hayden is so close to perfect.

In typical Miles tradition, this is funny and sweet and swoony and romantic. It's filled with characters we have known and loved in previous books. It's a long road trip, but the pay off is so worth it.

The Miles High series can definitely be read as stand alone. But the world building and character development across the series is just good enough that I hope you start at the beginning. I know I am looping back to the Mr series to catch those guys, too.

This story was everything I except from a T.L. Swan book.
Funny, witty, serious, sexy and all about family and falling in love.
Christopher Miles is the youngest of his brothers.
He’s privileged, overindulged and sexy.
He’s only ever known the easy life. His parents worked long and hard to get where the family is.
So Christopher doesn’t know what hardship is because his parents were rich and successful while he was growing up.
He takes things for granted and is used to having his every wish and need catered to.
When his brothers make fun of him for it it gets him thinking.
The youngest Miles’ decides to backpack across Europe with very limited funds and work whatever job he finds for his necessities.
Hayden is a country girl through and through. She helps on her parents farm.
She loves the land, the sun and the animals.
Hayden is sweet, kind and loves wholeheartedly, she’s down to earth and takes everything with a carefree attitude and in stride.
She’s broken hearted a to get over her sadness she flies to Europe to backpack from country to country.
I loved both her and Christopher.
They are socially, economically and environmentally so vastly different.
So they can’t be compared to one another.
They are the product of the upbringing and each brings and adds different aspects to the world and the people around them.
While they were backpacking they were free spirited and so excited and easy going with whatever adventure they were thrown in.
There were hilarious fall out of my seat tears streaming down my face moments, sweet heartwarming times and alpha throw down situations that had me smiling from ear to ear.
Then real life came barreling in and reality was in their face.
At times how it was dealt with was not cool again because of how they were raised.
But when you truly love someone and they are your one that’s when you learned to give and take.
The growth and development of the characters especially Christopher was so good to see.
Learning to comprise and working to reach a point where both can have what brings joy to the other was worth what they went through.
Christopher and Hayden come from loving affectionate families never lacking in that way.
And understanding that family is what you make it to be was so inspiring and brought joy to my spirit.
I very much enjoyed this book.

This was a DNF. At 60% I couldn't read any further. Attempted on several occasions to put it down and take a break and start again. Sadly just didn't work for me.

Christopher was a very immature and unlikeable hero in my opinion. He is told by his brothers and the woman he dates that he's spoiled and entitled. He doesn't think so. He decides to embark on a sabbatical, he'll leave all his privilege behind and backpack through Spain.

Hayden is a down to earth, simple farm girl and headed to Spain as well.

The two meet at a hostel room that they are sharing.

And so he begins the pursuit and she's not really impressed. Well Christopher isn't used to that so he determines he'll eventually win her over.

The writing and characters in this book were very unappealing to me. The MC's dialogue and thought process was immature and made him unlikeable to me.

The heroine was one dimensional as well. I found her neither likable or unlikeable, bland comes to mind.

The writing is not for me as well. It was incoherent at times and found it had no direction during sections of the book.

Don't know if I will read another book of this author. Don't think her writing is for me.

All of the books in the Miles High series are sexy, fun and leave you wanting more. The Do-Over is no exception - I loved the story of Christopher and Hayden and now want to plan a trip to Europe to re-create all of the adventures that they had.

When Christopher Miles, meets Hayden Whitmore, she believes him to be teacher. He is trying to find himself as a backpacker in Europe, away from his privileged life. She is wanting to experience life away from the family farm. Chris has never had a serious relationship, always wanting to live the carefree life. Yet Hayden soon gets under his skin, especially when she puts him in the friend zone.
Another great addition to the Miles High Club but I have to admit that Christopher was not as likeable as some of his brothers. Whilst this is a standalone book, brothers all appear at the start, giving Christopher the impetuous to start his adventure. Whilst he does some growing up by the end of the book, there were moments where sex did seem to overtake the true value of his relationship with Hayden. Probably the biggest highlight of the book was the young Spanish boy Eduardo, who seemed at times, more mature than Christopher.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Do-Over by TL Swan is the fourth book in The Miles High Club Series, and this is Hayden and Christopher’s story.

Christopher is a billionaire and comes from the prestigious Miles family. While his brothers are now settled down, he is just living life as is and doesn’t really have goals or plans. His brothers make fun of him for that, and a lot of people don’t take him seriously. At some point his life is not satisfying anymore and he is disappointed in himself and therefore goes out of his comfort zone. He takes a gap year and goes backpacking through Europe with no money and without his connections. I really liked how much Christopher developed in one year.

On his first stop in Barcelona, he meets Hayden. She grew up on a little farm in the US and this trip is also a little out of her comfort zone as she has little to no experience with relationships and intimacy. She is a country girl, and the land is just where her heart is at.

Christopher and Hayden are very opposite from each other and while this definitely is a conflict, they just fit together perfectly. Christopher also never was in a relationship, and I loved to see how he built one with Hayden. Some of my favorite scenes were in Barcelona and when they later met each other’s families. The whole plot around Eddie was wholesome and the found family aspect is just the best every time. I felt a lot while reading the book and just love this story.

Overall, The Do-Over is just amazing and one of my new favorite TL Swan books. 5 stars.
