Had some entertaining moments but it really wasn’t great. The writing was choppy and repetitive, it was also like the author had never had a conversation with an American as well because he said so many things we don’t say out here and it was comical. Very OTT and unrealistic but as I said entertaining. Smut scenes were also cringe, which was a bummer. I stand by my statement after the last book, Elliot was my favorite Miles bro. This is most likely my last Swan book though, it was just too… “full on.”

The Do-Over - Miles High Series - T L Swan
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

With each consecutive release from the Miles High Series I’ve thought, can TLSwan make these characters and stories any better?

Well, let me tell you, Christopher Miles is the prince of one liners and such an endearing character and you’re going to love him.

Some good natured fun poked at Christopher by his elder Miles siblings finds him rebelling against his privileged life and taking off on a twelve month backpacking trip to “find himself”. Little does he realise, he’s led a truly golden life until he winds up in a hostel in Spain, rooming with all assortment of wonderfully fun characters but most of all, the gorgeous Hayden.

Hayden’s on a year long ‘find yourself’ tour as well, but her roots are firmly planted in her mid west country home and her animal husbandry career that she will return to.

Their relationship is purely platonic as far as Hayden is concerned but Christopher sets himself a goal to be ejected from the friend zone and fall into Hayden’s bed. The road to achieve in this goal is definitely not paved with gold for Christopher and he learns so much about himself on the journey.

A little guy called Eddie adds a certain sweetness to this fabulous story and teaches Christopher so much about living, giving Christopher a much needed reality check on his own life.

This wonderfully written friends to lovers trope, will capture you from the very start and will leave you wanting more. The Miles brothers are certainly a force to be reckoned with but the women in their lives definitely know how to play these guys and seem to finish with the upper hand.

Adored Christopher and Hayden’s story and loved every word from this series. Can’t wait for the epilogues for all the Miles families.

I can’t get enough of this series! This one definitely felt a bit different than the others and a bit more of a slow burn. But it warmed my heart and now I want more from the Miles family.

The Do-Over
(The Miles High Club #4)
By T.L. Swan

The Do-Over was everything I was waiting for and more. First, the Miles brothers, I mean ~ come on! But Christopher Miles damn gurl this was so so good.

It all started with some brotherly teasing that turned into a mission for Christopher to find himself. A backpacking yearlong trip around the world. Finding himself, trying to answer the question who is Christopher Miles?

Hayden Whitmore needed this trip. Still not over her first love, her first boyfriend, her first “experience” the man who left to go to college and left her behind. Here she is 25 and has only had one “experience” she needs to move on and she needs to do it now. In Barcelona where the sun shines, the beaches are beautiful and backpackers live together in one room…or should I say Christopher Miles sleeps across the room from Hayden Whitmore….and so it begins.

The humor in The Do-Over is some of the best comedy I’ve read. I could picture their adventures and misadventures as if I was there with them! But comedy is just a part of this book. There is young Eddie, who Christopher takes a shine to and when I say shine, he wants to look after this boy, make sure he has the things he needs, Christopher has a protective instinct when it comes to Eddie. Eddie however holds his cards close to his chest and there is so much we don’t know.

The biggest thing that hit me was when we found out some of Christopher’s back story. It hit home, I was sure I might have an idea why Christopher was the way he was. I’ve seen this in someone I know and it truly is a “thing.”

Do Christopher and Hayden fight, sure don’t we all; but the one thing they fight hard for is what they have. Their feelings for each other, their need to touch, to talk, to taste each other; what they hoped for when it comes to their future.

When I finished, I had tears (from laughing) running down my cheeks and I would have been hard pressed to get a word out. I loved every moment, good and bad and as I finished the last page I knew it wouldn’t be long before I pull this book out for a Do-Over.

Five big fat amazing stars from me with a smile of pure enjoyment on the side!

Wow what a book! Just finished and I have to say that this was probably my favorite in the series. I laughed, I cried, all the emotions. Get ready to pull an all nighter because you will not want to put this book down!

The story begins with Christopher Miles who is a billionaire playboy that has everything he could ever dream of wanting. Good looks, any woman he wants, and he also successfully runs Miles Media, a multi billion dollar company. He’s successful in every way but feels that he needs to make something of himself so he takes a sabbatical and plans a backpacking trip through Europe.

Hayden Whitmore is a country girl who lives on a farm with her family and is happy with her life but her parents want more for her. She’s had her heart broken once but believes she will meet the right guy when the time is right. She’s also planned a backpacking trip and things start to get intense when she find out Christopher Miles is her new Roommate 🔥

These two have an immediate attraction but Hayden is also put off by Christopher and his arrogance. As fate would have it, they end up sharing a kiss one night that changes everything. They become closer and their friendship starts to blur into something more.

I absolutely loved the dynamic of these two together. Christopher is dominating in every way but Hayden stands up for herself and pushes back. The “white dress” scenes were hilarious(you’ll see) and I found myself laughing throughout the rest of the book as well. Christopher Miles is swoon worthy and his dirty talk was everything 🤌🤌 He may be my favorite Miles Brother. We also get some surprise appearances from the guys in the Mr. Series and that was one of my favorite parts!

The backpacking trip was epic and I truly felt like I was on this journey with them! This was an amazing book and the ending was perfect.

My Review

I received an ARC of this book from NetGally. Book comes out 30 Aug 2022.
Oh, man, this book and I don’t mean that in a good way. I started this book so many times and kept stopping after three chapters or so. I was seriously considering DNFing the book because of the Christopher Miles’ level of entitlement. In the end, I slogged through the book and there were some sweet moments in this book and I did enjoy parts of this book and Christopher was sexy as sin but I cannot call this a five star read for me.
Parts of this book felt so disconnected, and Christopher and Hayden felt off at times. As in, I couldn’t connect with them as a couple. I was happy that Christopher grew as a person by the end of the book and I found the end of the book sweet and that is why I’m going to rate this book 3 stars. So disappointing. I was so excited to read this book too.
Will I read more by T L Swan? Yes, just because this book was not really my cup of tea doesn’t mean that others would be the same. I have read one other book by T L Swan and enjoyed it, so I am willing to read more. Will I read the rest of the books in the Mile High Club? I’m willing to try another book in the series before saying that it’s not for me.
Until next time peace and happy reading.

Christopher's journey of self worth and self-discovery was hard, but fulfilling in the end. I loved reading every minute of it. I loved how we got to read more about the brothers too. I love their relationship so much that they're a close knit family.

Hayden I adored her. She was a down to earth girl that was humble and total opposite of Christopher. I loved the progression of their relationship too. It was a slow burn that had me rooting for them all the way. Also the spice was hot! Like his brothers, Christopher had the same intensity. If you enjoyed the other books in the series you will love this one!

So I wondered where Tee was going to go with Christopher, and this book had a completely different feel for me to books 1-3. I loved the travel element but really this was a self-discovery, personal-growth journey with some funny events and side characters as well as emotional highs and lows.

We are treated to a little insight into backpacking. It was a great representation of play hard, work a little, make lifelong friends, see cool places and live a life with zero responsibilities. Why wouldn’t a billionaire want to experience the world as a backpacker with meagre funds? Christopher wanted to know if people would like or love him for him, not his bank balance, and he certainly found a chosen family who fit the bill.

The unexpected part of this book for me was the emotional highs and lows. There is some serious heartbreak but of course after shredding our hearts, Tee delivers the balm to heal our wounds and bring a smile to our faces. One thing you can always rely on with Tee is her witty dialogue and snarky banter.

A good conclusion to the MILES HIGH CLUB.

I’m incredibly sad. I wanted to love this book but there was just something missing.

The writing felt a bit all over the place and jumpy. Some scenes didn’t flow as well as others. The pacing was off too.

I really liked the characters and their story. I liked the ending a lot.

Unfortunately this was my least favorite of the Miles brothers books. Looking forward to the epilogue novel though.

Thanks for the review copy!

The Do-Over is the fourth book in the Miles High series and one of my favorites! I loved the change in Christopher's character over the course of the book. He went from someone who never wanted to settle down, to having the best relationship with Hayden and Eddie. The banter between Christopher and Hayden and their love for Eddie just made my heart melt.

4.5 stars ⭐️
it’s funny, it’s cute, there’s spice, what’s not to love? I really enjoyed this book and sped right through it. Now I have to go back and read the first three in the miles high club.

Review: The Do-Over • TL Swan🧳

Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

💓Release Day • August 30th

•So much wow and so many thoughts! First and foremost, I was so excited for the story of our youngest Miles brother and Christopher did not disappoint, y’all. His character growth blew me away and having a front-row seat to his journey was incredible! And I loved his dynamic with Hayden! Christopher very much needed someone who could plant his feet firmly on the ground, and I thought Hayden humbled him beautifully. ♥️♥️

•Christopher Miles has the perfect life: more money than he could imagine, his pick of the most beautiful women in the world, and his dream job. But just when he thinks he truly has it all, he gets the reality check of a lifetime in the form of a verbal slap in the face from his closest confidantes—his brothers. 🤯

•Suddenly, Christopher finds himself on his most spontaneous adventure yet: one year of backpacking through Europe with limited funds and the possessions he can carry on his back.

•And even though Christopher is cultured and well-traveled, no one could prepare him for his most recent destination: the friend zone.

•Hayden Whitmore, our small town, minimalist FMC has met her fair share of privileged, playboy assholes and she has zero time for more bullshit in her life. Her new plan? A backpacking trip across Europe. What she doesn’t expect is to meet her best friend & soul mate: a teacher named Christo. Or is he a custodian?🤔

•You guys, I’m in love with this book. It was the perfect conclusion to the Miles High Series! TL Swan’s writing is unmatched and the tension & banter in this story were top notch! I’ll be on the edge of my seat anxiously awaiting each couple’s extended novella!🤩

•Read. This. Book. You won’t be disappointed!🤍

This is a 4.5 stars

Christopher is London and New York's It bachelor. He likes his life fast and full of women. When he gets off of a date that didn't go well and she tells him that no one will ever love him if he keeps going at the rate he is. He needs to just find who he is and get grounded. So he tells his brothers he is going on a year long backpacking trip. He gets everything he needs and heads to Barcelona, stays in a hostel and everyone knows him as Christo and he is a teacher. He meets beautiful blonde named Hayden and they become the best of friends. What happens when feelings come in to play with the friendship? What happens when the world you though isn't what it is? What happens when vacation is over?

This is a very different kind of TL Swan book. I really was shock of how long it takes to get spice in this book compared to a normal TL Swan book but it fits with the story really well. The last half of this book was incredible! I also fell super hard for Christopher for what kind of person he became! I can't wait for the novella!

I was so excited to get my hands on a copy of this early from Netgalley! I just love the Miles brothers, and Christopher was no exception.

That being said, he definitely needed to learn some things about life and had some growing up to do. And like his brothers he had his flaws, made mistakes— some that had me shaking my head and yelling at my Kindle— but he had a lot of growth and I loved to see it.

I also absolutely loved the moments with Christopher's brothers and family. It was nice to catch up with little glimpses into their lives now. And I just CANNOT WAIT until February for all their extended epilogues, in Miles Ever After ❤️

Hayden was so likable and very easy to relate to. I loved how she stayed true to herself no matter how hard it was.

Together Christopher and Hayden had me laughing and smiling constantly. I loved their friendship and I loved as it became more. Their chemistry was undeniable. Their jokes and banter made them feel so real. And their struggles had my heart breaking.

Christopher, is 31 and the youngest Miles brother. He works in their London media offices and at the beginning of the story his brothers give him grief over his lack of a real relationship, being spoiled and entitled…he of course disagrees, but then while on a date later than night the woman he’s with says something similar to him. It gets Christopher thinking and he decides to take a year sabbatical from Miles Media and go backpacking, living in hostels, and finding jobs along the way for money. His brothers laugh it off thinking he’s joking, which just pushes Christopher even more into going. So he sets out to leave behind his penthouse, fancy limo drivers, extravagant lifestyle, his “regulars” and random hookups, and heads to Spain!

Across the ocean, Hayden is leaving behind the farm life where she works in animal husbandry, and heads to Spain. Christopher and Hayden become roommates, with multiple other people, in a hostel in Spain. They quickly hit it off and along with their hodge-podge group of new traveling friends decide they’ll do 12 countries in 12 months all together. New jobs, new friends, new adventures, and friendship boundaries are crossed along the way!

The Miles series has been kind of all over the place for me: I did like book 1, I really loved book 2, and then really disliked book 3. And while I’d hoped to love this one, I sadly didn’t. Things I didn’t like: so many cringe moments, the way Christopher talks/thinks about others is just icky the first half, the book/story felt all over the place, all the women hitting on Christopher all the time, the humor…it just came off cringe, crass, and juvenile to me. Seeing this billionaire kind of have to “rough it” and deal with daily chores/life was probably supposed to be comical but just made me eye-roll at his obliviousness to money and “normal” things. I do think the story dragged on for too long and I wish he would have told her sooner who he really was, instead of lying about his job for so long.

I did like that the romance is slow burn and they become friends first. I do think Christopher’s character became better over time, because of his journey and time with Hayden. I did enjoy his relationship with Eduardo, a boy he meets along the way who was honestly a highlight of the book.

Thank you to the publisher (Montlake) for an e-ARC via NetGalley. All thoughts in this review are my own. The Do-Over has a publish date of August 30, 2022.

The way this blends perfectly with the first three books. I can’t believe this is the end of the Miles brothers. I adored all of their stories and will revisit them often. This one felt different then the other books, but it was still so enjoyable. I was a little thrown off by Christopher’s journey, but I understand why he’s doing what he’s doing. Overall, expect the same humor and steam that’s expected from TL and those flirty little Miles boys.

Sometimes, if you're not careful friendship can blind you to what is staring you right in the face...

Once again T.L. Swan has outdone herself. Wow!! she really did it this time. Christopher Miles is entitled, full of himself. He can have anything or anyone he wants. Christopher also realizes that his life seems meaningless, empty and lonely. He has an epiphany of sorts and decides he needs a reboot. He makes a decision to take a year off and trek around the world through new eyes. He discards his old self and hopes to discover a better person within himself.

He meets Hayden on his journey and is immediately drawn to her. He usually has no problem winning over a woman with just a sexy smile, but Hayden does not go for the bait. They become close friends, but Hayden wants more. Seeing Christopher's transformation made my heart go pitter-patter. Their story had me laughing, doing a massive amount of crying, but also filling me with hope for the two of them to get their acts together and see what was staring them in the face.

The cherry on the sundae was seeing all the brothers together again. I loved this story hard.

The Do-Over is book 4 in The Miles High Club. Featuring the youngest Miles brother, Christopher.

Christopher is now second in line for the brothers for me. No one will top Tristan’s story, but Christopher’s is close. Tired of being the partying playboy, Christopher decides to take one year and travel Europe backpacking.

Hayden, still reeling from her first break-up, two!, years ago, decided to backpack through Europe for a year and come back refreshed and ready for her next steps. It’s going to be a big change from a farm in upstate NY.

The two meet in a hostel in Spain and are instantly smitten. Their journey has some ups and downs and the city boy and farm girl storyline is one we all know.

I figured the story and end would be similar to Elliott’s book, but this one felt more raw and real. You could feel the love in the page, but also the heartache of is love enough?

My *only* wish would be for Eddie to get a POV in the epilogue. He had a short 1 page in the book, but I knew there was more to his story in this book. I think a couple pages in the epilogue would be perfect.

🖤 Genre/Trope: Cont. Romance, comedy, friends to lovers, Dual POV, Stand-alone character series Book 4/4

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4/5
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥4/5

💥Heavy Profanity💥

🎒The last installment of the Miles High Club series has me completely bamboozled! Or in the words of Christopher Miles, “margarooted!” (More on this later. 😜)

Short Synopsis:

Christopher Miles, the youngest of the Miles billionaire brothers, is known for his carefree womanizing ways. Although he’s always relished in this lifestyle,it’s become apparent that he’s frustrated by accusations that he’s the spoiled little brother. In order to clear his name of this stereotype, he sets off to backpack through Europe with little money to his name and an alias.

Hayden has always lived the simple life. Craving adventure, she sets off to Spain in search of long nights in hostels and new friends from across the world.

Christopher and Hayden are complete opposites and constantly challenge one another. Developing a comfortable friendship, they begin to make memories together. Their chemistry becomes more undeniable each day that passes. Perhaps there’s a possibility that this friendship may have potential for something more.

🎒Ok…let me just get out of the way that the hostel life is something new to me. Lacking cleanliness and very little privacy does not sound appealing…BUT it makes for many laughs! Seriously, this book had me laughing out loud in public. (Random confused stares from people around me were common during this read.😅)

🎒Although Elliot still owns my heart, (sigh for grumpy secret romantic 😍) Christopher and Hayden’s story was a breath of fresh air from the previous series books’ office setting.

🎒Really and truly, if steamy, laugh out loud, romances are for you, pick up this series. You wont regret it!

*Side note: Margaritas was the beverage of choice throughout this book. (Hence the the margarooted statement above!)

𝔸ℝℂ ℝ𝔼𝕍𝕀𝔼𝕎 - The Do-Over by T L Swan

Feeling empty and searching for a deeper meaning in life, spoiled rich boy Christopher Miles decides to take a year away from his CEO lifestyle to travel around the world.
No money, No contacts, No plans. Not a bad idea according to Christopher - that is until he arrives and sees where he is staying. Surrounded by body odour and chaos, the youngest Miles brother heads out to conquer the local ladies… only to have his money stolen. He’s living in his version of Hell and in walks his new roommate… Hayden Whitmore.
Hayden is Christopher’s total opposite and completely unaffected by his charm, as roommates they slowly create a friendship that neither of them expected. The problem? Christopher doesn’t want a friendship anymore.

♥️ Opposites attract
♥️ Secret Identity
♥️ Friends to Lovers

This sexy finale of the Miles High Club did not disappoint. Christopher starts off immature, you can tell he’s the youngest brother. BUT he grew on me and ended up being funny and charismatic although he will forever be a bit of a prat. Hayden, however, was super likeable to me. Down to earth farm girl with a heart of gold, she definitely gave this big city CEO a run for his money. There were hilarious moments and parts that made me sob but it was a typical T L Swan book and I loved it. Bring on the extended epilogues 😍
