I loved this book! It had everything I want in a Christmas book. Bonus points for having a snow princess! I loved the romance between Nick and the main character, I loved all the adventures and how they fell for each other. An overall awesome book!

I can’t seem to keep Tara Sive and Teri Wilson apart. First in Once Upon A Royal Summer and now again in this one. Still, I like both of their stories very much. As a closet-Disney fan…. No scratch that: I’m a Disney fan and proud of it. So, naturally, these cute stories on pretend princesses, who end up with real princes, are just up my alley.

Gracie is a kindhearted cute and funny girl, who is determined to secure the future of her princess employees. And if this entails entering a princess competition in a foreign country, so be it. Pretty awesome, Teri: two female entrepreneurs with glitter. Love it! And Nick, the grumpy exterior prince with a heart of gold. of course it is sugary sweet, but for Disney-aholics like myself the sugar fix is just a survival necessity. So thank you Netgalley, for providing my fix (uhm… my arc) and five out of five stars from me.

Loved this sweet fairytale romance, Love Gracie who has a heart of gold as well as Nick whom everyone has disdain for cause they do not know his true self .I loved how they first met , giving them a chance at real first impressions. A great holiday story.

Once Upon a Royal Christmas, by Teri Wilson, is an absolutely delightful Christmas story, like only Teri Wilson can deliver. It’s festive and charming, endearing and heart-warming, and one that will leave you feeling full of Christmas magic and good cheer.

This enchanting story of Gracie, a professional party princess trying to expand her business for the sake of her employees, and prince Nikolas who needs to revitalize his kingdom and rebrand his chilly image reluctantly meet at contest thrown by the royal family. The winner gets to participate with the royal family in the annual Ice Village festivities and hopefully bring the much needed publicity and revenue to the kingdom. Gracie definitely wins the hearts of the people, but the frosty prince is a different matter altogether.

Once Upon a Royal Christmas is a clean holiday romance, with themes of authenticity-being who you are and proud of it-letting go of past hurts and being brave enough to move on, and taking on a positive outlook despite grim circumstances. There are likable, realistic, feisty characters, sweet animals, a wintery wonderland setting, and a fairytale happily ever after. Teri Wilson is a go-to author for books that will put a smile on your face and are a perfect escape.

This was a fun, festive, and heartwarming Christmas story. Gracie runs a business where she and others dress up as princesses for children's parties and hospital visits. She is anxious to expand her business and give her employees the benefits she feels they deserve. Unfortunately, getting a bank loan has proved to be impossible. So her cousin and business partner, Clara, enters her into a contest with the royal family of San Glacera. The winner gets $30,000 and spends a week with the royal family during their Christmas festival. Gracie has no confidence that she will win and is stunned when she does.

Meanwhile, in San Glacera, Prince Nicolas is not happy that they will be entertaining "Princess Snowflake." He agrees that their winter tourism needs help but thinks Gracie is not the way to do it. Nick has the reputation of being a grump, thanks to an old girlfriend, and has done nothing to disabuse people of it. His initial impression is that of a humorless stick-in-the-mud, and only his sister Emilie can get past it.

I enjoyed seeing the relationship between Nick and Gracie develop. Neither knows who the other is when they first meet, and they hit it off. I loved seeing Nick show Gracie around the Christmas Village and how he saw things through her eyes. The blinders come off later that evening, and Nick behaves like a complete jerk. Each is furious as their preconceived ideas about each other appear to be correct. But a commitment is a commitment, and both agree to follow the program set out for them. For the first event or two, Nick and Gracie are stiff and uncomfortable together. Then Nick realizes that his people have taken her to their hearts, and he starts to see the warm-hearted woman beneath the over-the-top princess dress and tiara. Gracie soon sees that Nick's icy exterior hides a soft heart and deep love for his country and its people.

I enjoyed every event that Nick and Gracie did together. Each one was described so vividly that I felt as though I was there with them. Nick warmed my heart with the candy cane scene and won it entirely with their time at the animal shelter. Gracie made me laugh out loud during the snowball fight, and I loved how she helped Nick lighten up and learn to have fun. They also worked together to help the visiting princess with her puppy problem. All the time they spent together getting to know each other contributed to the feelings growing between them. But Nick is an actual prince, and Gracie is a pretend princess, and both are wary of expressing those feelings.

I ached for Nick because he was so caught up in his responsibilities as a prince that he'd forgotten how to live until he met Gracie. It takes a kick in the pants from his dad and his sister to make him realize what he has to lose. Gracie believes there is no way for them to be together and is ready to take her broken heart home. I loved the surprise he arranged for her and how it made her feel. The biggest event of her time in San Glacera is on Christmas Eve, and she is very nervous about it. I loved how her time with Nick gave her the confidence to overcome those nerves. I loved that scene and seeing Nick pull off the biggest surprise of all. The epilogue was the perfect wrap-up.

Thank you to Netgalley, publisher and author for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. This is the 2nd book I have read by Teri Wilson and it’s another one that I absolutely loved. If you love a sweet/clean holiday read this book is for you! It is a true Hallmark Christmas movie! At first this book starts off as an enemies to lovers but then as the main characters Gracie and Nick spend more time together they set aside their differences and then become friendly. I’m a sucker for stories that are will they/won’t they get together. The author did a fantastic job painting a picture of where this story took place and did a great job with the supporting characters. Many times during this story I was able to picture the scene and the characters. This was a perfect sweet romance Christmas book.

A fun, light-hearted Christmas story that hits all the right notes. A perfect escape for the holidays

I love Teri Wilson because her work is always uplifting and cheerful, just like a good Hallmark movie. Once Upon a Royal Christmas was a perfect read for this time of year. Gracie has a party princess business that brings happiness to lots of children. She wants to expand her business so that she can offer more opportunities to the ladies who are her princesses. Gracie's best friend and business partner sees a brilliant opportunity to raise money for the business through a contest sponsored by the small Alpine country of San Glacera. Gracie wins and both women go to San Glacera for a week of publicity at the winter festival.

While there, Gracie meets the abominable Prince Nick. The magic of the holiday makes some interesting things happen!

If you like HAE romance, holiday romance and the enemies to lovers trope then I think you will enjoy this book. Teri Wilson is a solid Hallmark type writer whose stories are always cheerful and heartfelt.

I thought this was Teri Wilson’s best Christmas book yet. Loved the cute charming town and the characters. The stakes felt more legitimate than many Hallmark stories and I found myself laughing at many scenes. As far as princess fairytales go, this was a solid, fun read.

Once Upon A Royal Christmas written by Teri Wilson needs to be turned into a Hallmark movie. I loved this book, but at times I felt like certain parts were rushed, therefore I had to rate this book four stars. This book will give you all the Christmas and wintery vibes possible. I have never read a book written by Teri Wilson before this one, but in the near future I will definitely check out her other books. I'm a sucker for this time of year with Christmas books and Hallmark Christmas movies. The cover for this book is absolutely gorgeous. I went into this book completely blind, which I highly recommend doing because it made the smiles and giggles more worth it. There were so many heart warming moments that you can't help but just smile your way through. I will admit this book was a bit cheesy, more than I bargained for, but still a great story. Despite the rushed parts, it was still an enjoyable book. I want to try San Glacera's famous hot chocolate with a Hershey kiss at the bottom. Let me be honest, I have never read a Royal Christmas story before, but i'm glad I chose this one to be my first because it was lovely.

THANK YOU TO NETGALLEY AND HALLMARK PUBLISHING FOR AN ARC OF THIS BOOK IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW!!!!!

Gracie Clark pretends to be a princess at children's parties, but can she melt a real prince's frosty heart? Gracie Clark aka Princess Snowflake plays "dress up" as a real life princess for children in the hospital and attends numerous birthday parties. As a young woman who "dresses up", Gracie is not taken seriously by many. When Gracie tries to get a bank loan for her Party Princesses business, she is denied because she's not a "real princess". Gracie is trying to expand her business and trying to give the other princesses the benefits they deserve before the holidays. When Gracie is denied for a bank loan by numerous banks, her best friend and business partner, Clara enters them into a competition for "A Winter Wonderland Contest" in San Glacera. The prize money is worth $30,000, Gracie could use that money to pay back the other party princesses and expand her business, but there's only one condition for this contest, Gracie has to sing on Christmas Eve. Singing brings back memories that Gracie doesn't want to be reminded of.

Prince Nikolas of San Glacera was away on a trip to honor the San Glacera's military, when the palace talked his family into holding a contest. San Glacera relies on winter tourism, but this year they are attracting fewer and fewer tourists, due to a store that was put out by Prince Nikolas's ex-girlfriend. Prince Nikolas's ex-girlfriend said he's a stone cold person, but when a photo of Prince Nikolas is out in the kingdom's newspaper, he looks frosty with icicles hanging off his beard. The winner of this contest gets to play a character in their annual Ice Village festivities and accompany the royal family to holiday events. As Princess Snowflake and Prince Nikolas are out for a stroll in the kindom's village, the two run into each other and..... surprise sparks fly. Gracie and Prince Nikolas have so much in common, and the two start falling for each other. Prince Nikolas understands Gracie more than anyone ever could.

Once Upon A Royal Christmas was cheesy, festive, fun, and heart warming. As cheesy as it was, the chemistry between the characters worked really well for me. The "Royal Hot Chocolate" recipe at the end of the book was a big bonus. This book is a clean romance, so no spicy scenes, just a few kisses here and there. I felt the Christmas cheer through the entire book. Once I started reading this book, I didn't want to put it down once, but you know the Christmas decorating is well worth stopping a book for. When a book leaves you smiling, you know it's the type of book you'll never forget. I love learning how other people celebrate/decorate for Christmas, it's so inspiring, and gives me so many new ideas. There were so many tasty treats involved in this story, and boy did I want to try all of them because you all know a girl loves their sweet treats, especially if there's chocolate involved. Please do yourself a favor and grab a copy of this book for the Christmas and holiday season, you won't be disappointed despite the cheesy romance, but that's what makes you laugh while reading a book.

Holiday romances are always such a delight to read! And what could make it all the more magical? Throwing in some royalty too... of course! In Once Upon a Royal Christmas, we meet a party Princess Gracie who is trying to expand her business, and having no luck getting anyone to take her seriously. When her friend and business partner enters her into a contest with a thirty-thousand dollar grand prize, it could be just the solution she's looking for... but things take an interesting turn when she finds herself falling for the real life Prince Charming.

This book is so sweet... there is so much Christmas cheer and tradition with a good blend of romance and humor too. It's very much what one might expect from a Hallmark royal Christmas story, and I mean that in the absolute best way possible! Sure, it could be a little predictable at moments... but I loved every moment. Sometimes I just need a good lighthearted romance, and this certain provided that escape for me!

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Fans of clean, royal love stories are sure to want to check it out!

**I received a complimentary copy for consideration. All thoughts are my own.

What happens when a party princess falls in love with a real-life prince? When Gracie started her party princess business, she had no idea just how far her dreams would take her. But when her alter ego, Princess Snowflake, wins a trip to San Glacera to aid in bringing tourism back to their country, can she also thaw the heart of the abominable snow prince? This was the perfect Christmas read for my Hallmark, royal prince-loving heart. If Once Upon a Royal Christmas by @teriwilsonauthor doesn't put you in the holiday spirit, I don't know what will. I want to travel to San Glacera to drink hot chocolate, wander through a Christmas tree maze, and meet Prince Nick. I loved the characters, especially Mittens, and how Nick always went out of his way to help others. I also enjoyed watching Gracie gain confidence in herself and how she wouldn't take any of Nick's crap. Definitely add this one to you must read list! Thank you @hallmarkpublish and @netgalley for my copy!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! This truly was a Hallmark movie in a book. I had a very hard time putting this down to do other things. It’s a really nice sweet clean romance, just the type of thing you would expect from Hallmark. It did start off kind of slow, but I have come to expect that from romance novels. And once it gets going, it *really* gets going! If you like Hallmark movies, you’ll like this book!

I received an ARC from the publisher for purposes of an unbiased review.

She pretends to be a princess
Teri Wilson, Publishers Weekly best-selling author and creator of Hallmark Channel Original Movies Presents "Once Upon A Royal Christmas", published by Hallmark Publishing. Gracie Clark is the creator and owner Perfect Party Princesses in Denver. She provides fairytale princesses for public performances and children’s birthday parties. Although her business is doing alright, she would like to expand and offer benefits to the college students, homemakers, and single moms she is employing. Her appointment with the bank manager Benjamin Curtis does not go well. His is the last bank manager of many banks that Grace tried without success. Interestingly her best friend and business partner Clara finds a contest offered by the small country of San Glacera with a cash prize of 30.000 US-$. The goal of the Royal Winter Wonderland Contest is to promote tourism there and it includes royal appearances.
Although the contest is help by the royal family Crown Prince Nicolas does not support it. He is not pleased when Gracie and Clara arrive in San Glacera after having won the contest. Nevertheless he has to give them a hand in the planned program and even starts to enjoy it.
This is the fifth book by Teri Wilson which I read and I recommend it highly to all those readers who are looking for an enjoyable, funny, and relaxing read with some unexpected twists and turns and nice characters. It is a sweet and wholesome book for the vacation or when one has a need to relax. This book contains the original Hallmark recipe for "Royal Hot Chocolate".
The complimentary copy of this book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley free of charge. I was under no obligation to offer a positive review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Once Upon a Royal Christmas has all the things I like in a Christmas novel. It’s filled with snow, hot chocolate, Christmas traditions, and hope. Since this is also a royal novel, I looked for those delightful aspects of royal life I’ve come to love in my books.

Teri Wilson is great at creating royals who you can relate to and root for. I found that true in Once Upon a Royal Christmas as well. This is definitely a book you want on your Christmas reading list. If you’ve never read a royal book, definitely try this one on. You’ll love the characters.
