I like this author's stories and this one was heartwarming and festive, exactly what I expect from a Hallmark Christmas story.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this arc, all opinions are mine

Christmas at the Amish Market is a sweet Hallmark story by Shelley Shepard Gray. Wesley and Liesl are a couple but are they? Both become confused then there are Roland and Jenny to consider along with sweet four year old Lilly. These four are having such a time with their emotions and the relationships at the most jam-packed season of the year. What happens this Christmas Season is full of faith, the Lord’s guidance, and some humor.
The story flows so smoothly I felt as if I was right there with the characters. Of course, I wanted them to see who belonged with whom in this wonderful tale of “finding the one.” The characters are genuine and engaging so that I couldn’t help but keep reading to see how and when they discovered it too.
Christmas at the Amish Market is a lovely story that will take your heart back to the true significance of Christmas while reminding you of the wonderful joy found also when you fall in love. One of the sweetest Christmas stores I have read.
An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I absolutely love Hallmark movies so when I got an opportunity to read another Hallmark Publishing book I was ecstatic!! Christmas at the Amish Market was so cute. I love how the two couples come together. It gave you holiday shopping feels and just loved how everything came together. If you want something that is a fast pace read and cozy feeling this book is for you! This was my first time reading a book by this author. She really held my attention through the whole book. It's been awhile since I read something about amish families and it made me want to read more like this. I hope everyone that reads this book enjoys it as much as I did. Thanks again forgiving me an advanced copy of this book!

This book put me in the Christmas spirit, a bit early to be sure, but, I’m okay with that.
I loved the setting of the Amish Market, the customers they served and the overall busyness of the store.
I liked Wesley, he has a strong work ethic. a desire to please his family and community and I really liked Aunt Jenny! Such a surprising and delightful young lady. Not at all what Wesley was expecting.
A heartwarming story with several surprises and a fun storyline.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher though Netgalley. Opinions are my own.

Christmas at the Amish Market
Shelley Shepard Gray
This is an absolutely lovely story. There is nothing better than a well written Amish story filled with love, family and faith. Shelley Shepard Gray has done it again. She has written an unconventional love story set at Christmastime with characters written so deeply, you cannot help but love them and hope everything goes their way. I really do hope this is the first in a series because I do want to see these characters lives develop even more.
I absolutely recommend this book.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and Netgalley.

I am really enjoying all the Christmas offerings this year. Christmas at the Amish Market finds Wesley running his family's general store while his father recovers from heart surgery. He wants to prove to his parents that he is capable of running the store so his parents can retire. He is way too busy to spend time with his girlfriend, Liesl. Liesl tries to help out by asking her aunt to come and help out with the Christmas rush while she has time off as the Englisher family she is nanny for goes on vacation. Jenny agrees to help out and heads to the Amish District to live with her sister's family and help out while earning some money. Meanwhile Liesl is helping out a local Amish widower with his young daughter. With all these platonic friendships going on, it is no wonder that feelings arise that are totally unexpected.
This was an interesting Christmas Amish story. I loved the premise that sometimes your perfect match is not who you think it will be. This is a clean, Amish romance, but there is a lot of emotional cheating going on. All four characters, Liesl, Wesley, Jenny and Roland struggle with their feelings and whether they are right or not. They also can't believe the other person they care for could possibly care about them. I love stories where young children steal the show and that is exactly what young Lilly does. I enjoyed seeing the characters come to grips with their feelings and solve their problems without hurting each other. There was a lot of Christmas Spirit and family goings on. Christmas at the Amish Market was an enjoyable story that I recommend to those who enjoy Amish and Christian Fiction. It is nice to see so many characters get their happily ever after, especially at Christmas time. I recommend this one, especially if you are looking for some good, clean Christmas magic.

This is a great Christmas read. Christmas wishes and dreams of a future are in store. Just not the dreams they think. Wesley is running the family store on fumes. His parents are usually there but his Dad is recovering from a recent health scare. His girlfriend Liesl is feeling neglected because of all the time restraints. She comes up with a plan to get him help so she can spend time with him. Jenny is not the older Aunt that Wesley expects to come and help with store. I like the way this book deals with the different relationships and situations. The story line is easy to follow and had enough content to keep me engaged. I have read Shelley Shepard Gray before and have not been disappointed.

What a wonderful Christmas romance! This book was the perfect read for me. It had a slower pace so you could really enjoy the characters and the story line. It's the perfect book to relax with and get into the Christmas spirit. I enjoyed every minute spent with book.
I received a complimentary copy from Hallmark Publishing via NetGalley and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Fun Read
I love a story that has some of my favorite elements in it, and Christmas at the Amish Market definitely does. It has a Christmas theme, romance, faith, family, forgiveness and great characters. Some are likable, some are not and some are just quirky and fun. While I had a fair idea of what the final outcome would be for Liesl and Wesley, I had no idea how the story would get there. This along with the wonderful story elements kept me turning pages. It is a fun and quick read that can be enjoyed any time of the year and will not disappoint.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with a complimentary copy of this book. All comments and opinions are strictly my own.

Wesley is very busy at the Christmas Market as he is short handed, and doesn't have much time to spend with Liesel . She suggests to her mother that she call her Aunt Jenny to see if she wants to work through Christmas at the market. Liesel doesn't tell Wesley that Jenny is his age. Liesel has her eyes on someone else. See what ha[[ens when Jenny starts working at the Christmas Market.

Christmastime is hustle and bustle, and some people in the book were always in a hurry. Other people enjoyed reminding others to be kind, stop being rude, and slow down a little bit.
When Aunt Jenny came to help Wesley at the store, it felt like a breath of fresh air came to the market.
After she arrived the dynamics changed, some people started to change, some didn't, it just seemed to take on a different atmosphere. To me, that brought the Christmas magic.
I received an ARC from Hallmark Publishing through NetGalley.

This is a Hallmark read, a good clean book, although it was predictable from the beginning, at least for me, the journey to the end is enjoyable.
You will probably guess how this is going to turn out, but there are a few twists, and will make you maybe second guess yourself.
I would have loved to go to the Pinery Christmas event, the place sounds magical! We get to see our couples as they interact, but who ends up with whom, even here at this amazing display of secular Christmas displays and lights, including a tree maze!
This read will put you in the holiday spirit! Enjoy!
I received this book through Net Galley and Hallmark Publishing, and was not required to give a positive review.

I really liked this book, alot. One of those you just can't put down until your're finished books. Leisel asks her Aunt Jenny if she could come to help at boyfriends Amish market for the holidays. Wesley, who has been left in charge after his father has a heart issue. He thinks an old maid is coming but what his gets is a young beautiful Jenny. Impatient and demanding Leisel wants Wesley to spend more time with her and to ask that one important question she has been waiting forever for. Although both Wesley and Leisel are both feeling something is missing in their relationship, they discover that the expectation of love may not always happen they way you planned. I was provided with an advanced copy of this book for review and my expressed opinion is of my own.

“Hallmark and bestselling author Shelley Shepard Gray present a Christmas Amish romance with lots of surprises in store…“
Love and Christmas and the Amish. Oh, my!
If you’re looking for a charming, quiet, lower-your-heartrate book, this one might be for you.
The dialogue was a bit heavy on the exposition (“We should call Aunt Jenny!” “Aunt Jenny? Your mother’s unmarried, youngest sister, who lives two towns over, and is always looking to make extra money?”) and the pace was glacial, but it’s a Hallmark book. An Amish Hallmark book. Most of the characters are all from a highly religious group, whose main method of transportation is horse and buggy.
The snail’s pace wasn’t a shock.
Listen, this story was fine. The plot was fine. The characters were fine. The romance was fine.
It was just SLOW.

Christmas at the Amish Market by Shelley Shepard Gray
We meet Wesley and Liesl. They’ve been dating for a few years but seem to have hit a slow patch and come to a halt in their relationship. Wesley’s parents own an Amish Market, and Wesley finds himself running it alone during the Christmas season. His father had a medical condition that required rest. Liesl suggests that Wesley hires her aunt, Jenny, for the holiday.
Jenny looks forward to the distraction of working at the market during the holiday. She is recovering from a painful breakup. Jenny is the same age as Liesl. They are closer than Aunt/Niece, more like cousins. When Jenny starts having feelings for Wesley, she struggles against them.
Liesl struggles with her own feelings in her relationship with Wesley, feeling as though he may not be the man God intended for her future.
“With humor, faith, and a little help from their friends in the community, everyone might just find what their hearts are looking for this Christmas at the Amish Market.”
I enjoyed this story. It was no surprise; I always feel as though Shelley Shepard Gray's books end too soon. I get caught up in the story, and before I know it, conflicts are resolved, and the ending is near.

Five stars for Christmas at the Amish Market by Shelly Shepard Gray. This is a delightful book that will get anyone in the Christmas mood. Liesl and her longtime boyfriend Wesley never seem to have any time together. He is always working at his family store. He is not very romantic either. Perhaps those things are not important because Liesl and Wesley have been together since grade school. Everyone knows they will marry one day. When Wesley’s father is in the hospital Wesley has to take over the store all by himself with the help of only one other clerk. Since Wesley never has time to do anything, Liesl enlists her aunt Jenny to come and work for Wesley. Needless to say Liesl never thought Jenny and Wesley would fall in love. She wasn’t too upset about it because she herself and fallen in love with someone else. Even though the reader knows how the story will end it is fun to follow in the footsteps of the characters.
I received a copy of the book from NetGalley.. The opinions expressed are my own

This book was a lovely Christmas story with seasonal fun and a happily ever after, but I enjoyed that the plot involved some deeper relational and emotional growth in several of the characters. I found myself thinking about how, like the characters in this story, we make the Christmas season so busy. So many holiday things are good things, but so many good things can become excessive busyness. I enjoyed watching Wesley grow and change as the story went on, and I appreciated how he realized that he had been neglecting his faith during all of his busyness, too. Jenny, Leisl, Wesley, and Emma all learned, as many of us should, that being one’s self is a good thing. Change is good sometimes, but being who God made us to be is a good thing too. This is the perfect Amish Christmas book to read with a cozy blanket and a cup of cocoa on a chilly day.
I requested and received a copy of this book for review. The words and opinions shared in this review are wholly my own.

Thank you to netgalley for letting me read this e arc in exchange for an honest opinion

Christmas at the Amish Market was the first Christmas book of the season for me to read. I had intended to go back and forth between the written book and the audio version but the audio version was such a delight to listen to that I wound up sticking with the audio version.
The setting revolves around the Amish market that Wesley's family owns. Christmas is around the corner so the place is hopping with activity. Wesley is overwhelmed with running the market while his father is recovering from some heart problems. Added to the mix is long time girlfriend Liesl.
Liesl is an accomplished seamstress and finds great satisfaction with making beautiful things. But she's a bit oblivious to the needs of others. In fact she's put out with Wesley's devotion to his family's business. With the guise of helping Wesley but really helping herself, Liesl brings her Aunt Jenny into the mix. Unbeknownst to everyone the arrival of Jenny will change everything.
If you enjoy Christmas themed books you'll love this one. It's the perfect mix of interesting characters, situations and solutions. There's a good mix of conflict and sweet romance that makes this a perfect read for the season.
