I really love all of Kat Marin's books. But, wow.... this may be my favorite yet!
Skye finds out her step sister has joined a commune of sorts. But things seem very sketchy there, and her step mother is worried. She decides to pay a visit and check in on Cassie. and Edge takes a ride with her. The two have no idea the scope of what they are about to step into, both in regards to her sister, and each other. Their chemistry is off the charts, but so is Edge's need to clear his name and reinstate in the military. Lots of action, suspense, and some nice bits of steam - just enough to keep me reading all night long.

Skye & Edge have been feeling sexual tension growing between them since they were in Mexico helping Edge’s brother.

Edge wants to also clear his name and go back to being a Green Beret. Will he go back to that or will his attraction turn to a deep love for Skye and he stay?

One Last Chance is the third book in Kat Martin’s Logan Series. Edge Logan and Skye Delaney go up against a dangerous cult who has lured Skye’s half-sister into their lair. I enjoyed the series but this was my favorite with a lot of romantic suspense, action, and twists.

Loved this book! Fast-paced, this book has every dynamic you want and expect in this genre. Romance, action, throw in a cult and a former military badass - what more could you want. Definitely recommend.

Excellent romantic suspense! The suspense starts at the beginning and continues throughout the book. Edge and Skye, skirting around their attraction for each other, make a great team in the cases they work. This one involves a cult that holds women captive and hides even darker secrets. The characters of Nighthawk Security work together as a well-oiled machine as they waded through this complex case. Plenty of twists and turns and page turning action. Definitely my favorite book in this series!

This is the 3rd book in Kat Martin's The Logans series and focuses on Edge Logan. The characters are well formed and likeable. The balance of mystery, suspense and romance is just right.
Overall, a great read from one of my new favorite authors.

Sizzling romantic suspense. Both the main characters are former military working as detective at a security firm. Skye is as lethal as the men she works with. She’s got a huge heart. Edge is pure alpha but he doesn’t prevent Skye from doing what she’s good at. There a quite a few twists and turns. Lots of action and adventure. I really enjoyed the writing and descriptive details. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

This was the perfect bridge between the Logan family and the men and women working with Edge. He and Skye have seemingly unrequited lust going for each other, and he’s tried to steer clear of acting on it. Until now. The only problem? He couldn’t have picked a less convenient time to let his feelings be known. Skye deserves the world and Edge may only have today to offer her. Especially when it seems that his dreams of justice are finally becoming a reality. But maybe he has a new dream now?

I really enjoyed the pace of this story. The danger wasn’t unbelievable. The camaraderie and trust between these folks was fantastic. And the bite of angst and misery helped round it all out. I wanted to smack both Skye and Edge upside the head a couple of times, which made this very much a question of timing for the two of them. And when it all worked out in the end, I was left with one question. When do I get more?

This gifted and talented author has written a novel that is fiction but reads like nonfiction. It could be true. It could happen. The protagonists work well together in solving crime...in rescuing those who are being held against their will...love and romance...friendship...maybe a little too detailed at times...the timeline works...it is linear and moves quickly...this is a character driven novel by an author good at her craft. It is a cannot put down until the end story...the book was sent to me by Netgalley for review...thanks to the publisher for the electronic copy. I like books by this author...

This is a good book about Edge Logan. He was forced out of the military and all he wants is to clear his name and return to his unit, or is it?

Edge and Skye are working together to check on her sister. When it becomes obvious that Callie is in trouble you can't stop these two.

Skye, former Army until an accident made her leave early, is a private investigator with her brother’s company Nighthawk. Her stepmother calls and says she hasn’t heard from her half sister, Callie, in a couple of months. She is with the group Children of the Sun. Her partner Edge, former honorable discharged Green Beret, wants his career back. He could take an early retirement or be dishonorable discharge. They go to the cult but the leader will not let them see her sister. They figure out a way to go in and get her and hope she wants to leave. Once everything is settle, some of the men a part of the cult, wants Callie back and will stop at nothing to get her. The attraction between Skye and Edge of hot but can they get over the walls that they both have inside?

Action. Suspense. Sexy. Two co workers who step over the friends/lovers line. I really liked the story. Military people. A couple of times the dialogue between the characters would run together and I had to go back and reread so it would make sense.
