Ms Chetwynd’s newest book is a wonderful example of how heartwarming and lovely her art is - it shows us a world of love, humor and the human condition. I wish it was longer, but the art is first rate and beautifully executed. Bravo!

“You Are Home” by Catana Chetwynd is an absolutely precious collection of short comics that depict some very real and relatable daily slice of life events in humourous ways. I adored everything about this collection and found myself laughing out loud multiple times throughout this book. The illustrations are simple yet cute and the dialogue is humorous and thoughtful. This is a book that you should definitely pick up if you are looking for a light and fluffy read that makes you say “I can relate to that”.

I've read and enjoyed other comics by Catana (Snug and In Love & Pajamas) and I enjoyed this one just the same. They are all so heartwarming and cute, and the drawing style is so unique and lovely. I loved the message and essence of "home as a person" that this book tried and achieved in conveying.

I've always really like'd Catana Chetwynd's works, and there are some really sweet and funny panels in here, but this one didn't speak to me as much. It felt a bit more tied to stereotypes of men and women in relationships. That being said I did enjoy it

*I received an ARC via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thanks for the free comic collection*

I love Catana comics because I find myself in Catana comics. I also find my partner in Catana comics. Oftentimes our roles are reversed, but the depiction of domestic normalcy is touching and sweet. I showing pictures from the comic to my partner, it is sweet.

4 Stars

Awww this was so flipping cute! I’d never seen any of Catana’s work before so every comic was new to me and I loved them all! This was such a sweet and relatable glimpse into a couple’s life together, all those little every day moments that happen when you’re totally comfortable with someone. Her style is adorable and delightful, and each page is crafted with so much heart and humor. I live alone but this still gave me such a happy cozy feeling!

Thank you to Andrews McMeel Publishing and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I thought this book was really cute. It's so light-hearted -- precisely what I needed to read after reading a really heavy book. I love the way the author drew everyday life. Her comics drive the point home that it's the little moments in life and in your relationship that matter. Although I am single as a pringle, I found myself feeling, "THIS is goals; that's what I want."

Have you ever read a book, where you can't shake off the smile on your face even for a page, where you adore every part of it, where you hug the book tightly and never want to let it go?

Yes, this was that book for me.

The graphical illustrations were so engaging and absorbing and I loved every part of it. It gave me all feelings of love, hope, finding a home in another person, sharing daily life and so much more. I have read the previous illustrations by this artist and they are always so delightful. Always so relatable and realistic, that I thought about how me and my partner such things and never notice.

If you're having a bad day or feeling low, just try reading it, you will love it.

I absolutely love Catana's comics and have been following her Instagram and art for a long time now so was super excited to read this. You Are Home was fantastic, her usual style which is simple, yet brilliant, full of humour and sweet moments. I related to so many of them with myself and my partner which really added to the reading.

Another really solid outing by Catana Chetwynd. We also get more dog-based comics than we did the last time, so that's good!

I just love these comics by Catana! Seeing and in some cases, relating to her and her relationship make for a cozy feeling. With this installment, I found myself chuckling out loud during lunch break and sharing a few of the strips with co-workers.

And even though I read an e-arc, I just have to shout from the roof top STICKERS IN AN ADULT BOOK!!

Hello, readers! Thanks to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing I had the pleasure of reading “You Are Home” by Catana Chetwynd. Here is my honest review.
Do you know Catanacomics? Her black and white comics feature her and her bearded fiancé. The theme? Life as a couple.

"You are Home" is the fourth publication by Catanacomics, which follows "Little Moments of Love", "Snug" and "In Love & Pajamas". “You are Home” will be released October 4th.

With humor and simplicity, Catanacomics keeps showing us glimpses of the life of a coupe in its most natural moments, or the bizarre couple dynamics established between people who know each other deeply and love each other despite all their oddities: cuddling, choosing gifts (for him), cleaning the house, leaving the house, even fighting for the blanket!

I decided to read Catanacomics’ book because I love her drawings: they are realistic, truthful, hilarious.
She represents the simple moments of a couple and you can easily see yourself in them: when you wait to see each other again, the desire to be always cuddling on the sofa, understanding each other without speaking.
These are simple, almost trivial moments, yet the most important for a couple, the most romantic, those that remain in our memory.

Much of the hilarity of the scenes comes from the drawings, thanks to the characters’ facial expressions.
The comics are very simple; there are only the two characters and some furniture (sofa, television, computer), they rarely take place outside. The drawings are black and white, but the style is 100% Catanacomics, it is impossible to miss it.

In my opinion, this book is a nice gift for a couple. Imagine how fun it would be to cuddle on the sofa, turning the pages and recognize yourself in the scenes!

Catana Chetwynd is back with more hilariously relatable comics about her life with her fiancé John. These are hilarious to read, and they're so similar to things I experience with my husband on a regular basis. This isn't my first Catana Comics collection, and every time, I have to stop every few comics to show my partner so he can laugh with me. These are definitely worth your time and attention. If you need more convincing, check out her Instagram page (but really, trust me on this one).
