A great historical anthology with exceptional romance.
Some of my favorite authors write with modern day songs as inspiration .
I usually don’t like anthologies because I feel like there’s never enough to the story but that was not the case with these. The list of authors is incredible and each one gives so much! A must read!
I grabbed this one due to the listing of authors involved and I'm glad I did. I found most of the stories engaging and while an anthology is always tough because you jump from one story to the next (and they aren't very lengthy) I thought this one was well done.
Such a great compilation of stories from wonderful authors. There really was nothing to dislike as there's enough stories that you're bound to find a few you love.
Great book! Lovely little novellas by a variety of authors. A really good way to get a feel for new authors or to catch up on characters from other series. Enjoyed it!
Great compilation of authors and stories! There were definitely some stories that I enjoyed more than others but it was a great read! Thank you for the early copy!
I loved this book so much it was such a fun read for me I couldn't put it down i was completely hooked from the first page
Good fun anthology - definitely some stories better than others, but I enjoyed it! Particularly enjoyed the contribution from Nadine Millard.
Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.
A good collection of summer themed stories. The stories varied in plot, and give a good sampling of various authors writing styles. Overall an enjoyable set of stories. *I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and this is my voluntary and honest review.
This is a great anthology of historical romance stories and novellas! I loved it, and it introduced me to a few new authors. I really enjoyed Alexa Aston's and Caroline Lee's additions to this! But all of them were entertaining to read. If you like quick reads so you can move on and read something new, I would recommend!
A fast read, but a hodgepodge of different styles and stories. Not my favorite. Each story could be read on its own or the whole thing can be read as a collection. It’s my first from this publisher (who I see all over the place) and it probably wasn’t the best intro to them.
I am always happy to read a good anthology. There is nothing better, especially when you get to read new authors and experience their books.
I am particularly fond of historical romance ones, such as this because it is the perfect way to indulge in read in one sitting stories between other, heavier reads. I enjoyed this collection because each story was a treat in its own way.
I’m giving 𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗗𝗨𝗞𝗘 𝗢𝗡 the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!
It’s really hard to give a meaningful review of a book with so many short stories! Mostly they were pretty good! The first one I hated, but so many were fun and easy. Nothing too in-depth, but this is a good anthology for an easy sweet and fun read,
Get Your Duke On is a historical romance anthology where each story is inspired by a summer song. The authors featured in the collection are Kathryn Le Veque, Chasity Bowlin, Alexa Aston, Maggi Andersen, Meara Platt, Mary Lancaster, Caroline Lee, Elizabeth Johns, Cerise Deland, Bianca Blythe, Nadine Millard, Amy Jarecki, Sofie Darling, and Merry Farmer.
I had a great time reading this super fun anthology. The stories were wonderful. This is definitely a top tier anthology!
I really enjoyed the stories in this boo.k. I don't know that the theme of "your favorite summertime songs" was a good idea, that part of it was kind of silly, but if I overlook that the stories themselves were entertaining. I'm really looking forward to reading more from the authors in this book since I hadn't read anything by any of them before.
I had been hearing about this collection for quite some time and couldn't wait until I got the chance to read it and I can tell you, it certainly lived up to its hype!
This set was simply amazing! If you are a binge reader like me, you will definitely appreciate this boxset. Having so many dukes at your fingertips is certainly a swooning hazard, but definitely well worth it! Once I started reading, I couldn't stop.
A group of fantastic authors have put together these entertaining stories, inspired by themes of popular summertime songs, that will bring you hours of romance and fun.
The authors do a brilliant job of building the stories and bringing them to life.
With smooth flowing, entertaining storylines anf interesting characters you can't help but love, These books will definitely bring a smile to your face and warm your heart while heating up your e-reader at the same time!
An awesome anthology I would definitely recommend!
I received a complimentary copy from Dragonblade Publishing via Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.
Loved this anthology. I'm newer to historical romance, so having all these series starters is exactly what I needed. I feel like each book I find a new author I didn't know about and fall in love with them and their stories.
Thank you to all the lovely authors who contributed to this. You have all gained new fans.
Honestly I love a good anthology! It's the best of everything. It gives you a chance to explore new authors, catch up on smaller stories you're dying to know about and they're short enough to read when in a hurry.
This anthology was no different, and contained the best of everything. There truly is something for everyone here!
There is something for everyone in this anthology: comedy, tragedy, sorrow, and joy, but above all, romance. A number of the stories are spin-offs from previous series and it was lovely meeting up with the characters once again, especially those that received their own happily ever after. I read the book from cover to cover and enjoyed each and every novella. I received a copy of this anthology as a gift through Dragonblady Publishing and NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.
This was a fun way to read some new to me as well as some well-loved authors. The stories are short, meaning there was a lot of insta-love, which sometimes rubs me the wrong way. Some of the stories are clean, some are more steamy, though not as steamy as I know some of these authors can be, so they likely turned it down to make this anthology more universally appealing. I enjoyed most of the stories, though a few were decidedly meh (I am looking at you, Cruel Summer).
This is a great pick-up for someone looking to read and finish a story just before bedtime. 4 stars.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book. The opinions herein are my own.
