I'm a fan of the western genre. Ralph Compton's name on the book front guarantees a great read, even thos written by his continuing authors, such as this series by Ralph Cotton. You have to love a band of outlaws with the name The Strange siblings. There's bound to be a couple of "strange" twists. Rough Justice has as the main outlaw a woman, Danielle Strange, riding line as Danny Duggin, an outlaw with a price on her/his head. The Strange family are on the hunt, but along the way, they have no problem stirring up as much trouble for the law as they can. Compton's books are realistic to the era, lots of blood, guts, bullets and dust flying. They are perfect examples of what a western thriller should be.
