5 stars. Abby Jimenez does it again. This is my favorite book so far from her, and Jacob is my favorite Abby lead. I just don’t know how she does it. She effortlessly (ok it’s probably not effortless) knows how to weave together moments that make me want to cry from laughing so hard, with moments that just make me want to cry. Her books are emotional and hysterical, heartwarming and heartbreaking. And nothing makes me swoon more than an Abby hero, because they’re just so stinking sweet. Yours Truly features pretty much everyone’s favorite trope— fake dating. We also have a workplace romance and some one bed scenes. This is 100% a slow burn, which I love. And yes, there’s a cute dog. This can absolutely be read as a standalone, but there is some character overlap with Part of Your World, where we first meet Bianca, who by the way, is also awesome. She’s super loyal and family oriented and has a hysterically mischievous sense of justice. I absolutely recommend this book. Fans of Abby’s will no doubt enjoy it, but if you haven’t read her before, her books remind me a little of Katherine Center’s, Roni Loren, or Helen Hoang.

This was beautiful and amazing. Abby Jimenez has the magic tough. I loved that her hero and heroine were both flawed and fought to overcome their limitations and helped each other do it. Jimenez’s portrayal of anxiety was spot on.

I was not disappointed at all!! I love all of Abby's books, but this one is now my favorite of all!! She has outdone herself with this one. I feel like I got a window into the mind of my son that has severe social anxiety and see a happy ever after in his future in a way I never have before. I love that we get to visit with characters from previous books and keep living in their world a little longer. This is a must read!!!

This was just the palette cleanser I needed after so many intense books. It’s light and funny, easy to read. The characters had depth and the romance wasn’t overwhelming or too cheesy. Overall a great reading experience.

I adored everything about this book. Could #yourstruly be Abby’s best book so far. I believe so! If you love tropes, we’ve got fake dating and only one bed. It gave me all the feels and all the laughs. We catch up with some of our favorites in Wakan as well. It definitely hits you in the feels as it deals with family health issues and organ donation. Seriously if your not already signed up to save a life what are you waiting for. Bri and Jacobs love story is one for the ages. Loved the letter writing back and forth. Jacob is my new book boyfriend. 5Stars but I would it give it more if I could. Thank you #netgalley

Once again, Abby Jimenez has created a whole world that seems completely real and the characters fully-formed, three dimensional human beings. The reader wants to be a. part of these people's lives right from page one. Dr. Briana Ortiz, who debuted in "Part of Your World" has had a terrible breakup from her cheating husband and Dr. Jacob Maddox's ex is marrying his younger brother. These two flawed, beautiful, heartbroken people become colleagues and enemies to friends first. When Jacob joins the team in the ER where Briana also works, he gains notoriety when he loses all of his patients on his very first day. The nurses hate him! Jacob's social anxiety make him awkward and seem unfriendly at times.
Through writing letters, however, Briana and Jacob find they actually have a lot in common and the letters help them reveal more of themselves than they might in person. The friendship begins and fake relationship begin.
Abby takes some common romance tropes, enemies to lovers and fake dating, and makes them not only believable, but also charming and sweet. The healing that takes place in Yours Truly makes true, selfless love seem possible for anyone. Even someone who feels broken can be made whole again. Highly recommend this book!!

Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the digital ARC of this book. This does not influence my honest review of this book.
Rating: 4.5/5 (rounded up to 5)
I want to start off by saying that I have yet to read Part of Your World, but I don’t think you have to read it in order to enjoy this book.
This book follows Bri and Jacob. Jacob is such a gem in this book. His anxious and timid side really just makes you want to give him a big old squeeze. He’s introverted and has social anxiety which are traits you don’t typically see in contemporary romance books
This story has fake dating, which I don’t typically go for because it can come off as unrealistic and cliche, but the way that Abby plays out the story makes me second guess whether or not I might actually like the trope!
This is a comforting romance with a lot of feel good qualities that could get you out of a reading shlump!

This book is one I was so excited for and I dropped everything to read it. I was instantly drawn to both leads, Briana and Jacob. They were both just brutally honest and vulnerable and I especially loved how deeply we got to be inside Jacob's mind as I thought experiencing his anxiety was really eye-opening. I loved the light this book shown on both kidney disease and mental health.

This story was a delight! The characters were well developed and I loved the theme that “love shows up”. The way the main characters cared for each other made for a sweet read. Abby Jiminez’s novels are always a treat and this one was no exception!

I loved this book so much! I loved Bri in A Part of Your World, and was so excited to read her story! I laughed, I cried, lots of humor, and so much heart! Abby, you never disappoint!

Abby definitely did it again! Her books are all amazing and this one was absolutely amazing as well!
Bri and Jacob's story was incredible. Jacob has severe anxiety and I loved getting to see him work through it and Bri doing everything she could to be there for him.
Seeing them work through all of their own emotions while not knowing how the other one felt seems all too real.
I 1000% recommend reading this book and all of Abby's other books if you haven't done so already.

I was so happy to receive an early copy of this book. Abby Jimenez is one of my favorite romance author's. I loved that the characters were doctors. Brianna's character was amazing. I thought she was strong and the author handled the topic of divorce and cheating perfectly. The relationship between her and Jacob was amazing.

Thank you to NetGalley and Hachette Book Group for providing me with an ARC of this story. This review is my honest opinion.
I have adored each and every one of Abby Jimenez’s books, and this one is no exception.
We met Dr. Briana Ortiz in Part of Your World, and this book focuses on her life as she is preparing to finalize her divorce. Briana’s brother is also facing some serious health issues, and Briana finds out there is a hold up with the promotion she thought she had secured. Briana meets Dr. Jacob Maddox right in the middle of these struggles, and she views him as another complication in her already challenging life. When Jacob decides to write Briana a letter, it snowballs into a development friendship, then a fake relationship that may or may not be moving toward real feelings.
Abby just knows how to write characters that are so lovable. I want to live next door to all of them. Briana and Jacob are so real. I love their quirky families and friends. I found myself in tears, and in laughter, and even holding my breath a few times as I read. I couldn’t put this book down—I had to know how it would turn out. (No surprise there—I’m pretty sure I’ve read all Abby’s books in a day’s time!) You just have to root for all the characters in these books! And of course there is an awesome dog included!
Just get the book—you know you want to. You won’t regret it. And if you haven’t read the others, get them too because one won’t be enough!

Thank you NetGalley for the advanced copy!!
With the risk of sounding like a broken record, this was my favorite Abby Jimenez book yet! Bri is so strong and relatable, and jacob is an absolute gem- I loved how anxiety was portrayed throughout the book, since I’m someone that lives with it. A must read.

Bri and Jacob are so relatable! This book will make you laugh hysterically and cry. I love that their relationship starts from writing letters!

So damn good. Abby has a way of making you feel like you know the characters down to the most unique little details and it makes me fall in love with her characters in every single book so far. But this one may really be my new favorite. The way she portrays the anxiety that Jacob has, the way she shows how past relationships have harmed Bri. You feel like you’re right there with her characters in their journey. And man oh man does she always give you a happy ending even if you want to scream at her along the way.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC for Yours Truly for an honest review. I discovered Abby Jimenez last year when I got an ARC of Part of Your World. Once I read POYW, and binged on Abby's TikTok videos, I raced to get the rest of her books and read them all over the course of a few weeks. I love being immersed in an author's book world. Abby writes with heart and humor, the problems her characters face are complex and feel very real. Yours Truly was no exception-both Jacob and Bri are complicated characters with big hearts. I appreciated Abby's sensitive handling of Jacob's anxiety disorder and the careful exploration of the issues impacting Bri's struggle with commitment. You really root for these characters to find happiness. Reading appeal-excellent dialogue, strong character development, even pacing, well-plotted.

One of the things I love about Abby's books, Yours Truly included, are how vivid the characters are. You can imagine having every one of them in your life in some capacity. Briana is the type of friend that every woman deserves to have. She is kind, compassionate, and fun. Jacob is the kind of man every man should aspire to be. While quirky due to his anxiety, he is selfless, attentive and loyal.
I also appreciate the level of research and detail Abby puts into all of her books. Knowing she spoke with ER doctors and RNs makes the worlds she creates realistic and the situations plausible. While, hopefully, most readers will not find themselves in a situation like Briana it is nice to know that there is a chance it will work out for everyone involved.
On a personal note, as someone who is in a relationship with a person with anxiety it was nice to see a similar relationship articulated for a large audience. What comes off as rude or weird in most situations to strangers is not done with any intent to harm, but only to make oneself feel comfortable in a vulnerable situation. I can only hope that the relationship between Briana and Jacob helps people be more understanding to others mental and emotional states.

This book was phenomenal! I think this may be my favorite book by Abby Jiminez yet! Yours Truly gave beautiful thought processes from both of the main characters, switching between each one, their relationships and things they were going through together and on their own. I love the relatable real-life things that the characters were going through and how Abby still made us laugh and love each character on their own. Topics of divorce, anxiety, and organ failure/donation were touched on in this book in a thoughtful and descriptive way that just further improved the romance story this is. I really loved the overall theme and the love story that happens in this book, with the writing making it feel like something you are experiencing. I truly couldn’t put this book down and it hit all the emotions. I highly recommend this book!

Abby Jimenez once again crushed it with her newest novel, YOURS TRULY. Prepare yourself for yet another emotionally stressful book. This book hits so many good tropes—fake dating, friends to lovers, one bed—but the clinching factor that earned the five stars was the way Jimenez tackles toxic social norms, specifically regarding mental health. As a society, we’re definitely getting better at recognizing it, but we still have a long way to go. As a doctor and genuinely amazing person, Briana was equipped to understand and help Jacob through his times of anxiety. She didn’t always get it right, but I admired that so much. And Jacob—OH MY GOSH! He is the partner of your dreams, with how supportive and caring he is.
I couldn’t put this book down while traveling. My favorite part (well, one of them) was when they wrote letters. The first time it happened, I instantly thought—wow, what a Darcy moment. Then Jimenez connected that and it made me love it so much more.
All in all, read it!! Read the whole series if you haven’t yet!!
