A delightful and emotional contemporary romance! I think this may be my favorite book Abby Jimenez has written! I absolutely devoured Briana and Jacob’s story. As per usual, Jimenez writes with care and humor to address deeply relatable issues like anxiety, family, break-ups. I also love that the book features slightly older characters than a lot of other popular contemporary romances out there right now.Truly a treat to read. I can’t wait for more books from the author!

As always, Abby Jimenez knocks it out of the park. This was one of those books when I started, I knew i'd never want it to end. The chemistry....the one-liners....the banter....the Easter eggs thrown in. Absolute perfection once again.

Yours Truly" is a beautifully crafted story of love, loss, and second chances, brought to life by an array of vivid and relatable characters. Abby Jimenez has a unique talent for weaving emotional depth into her storytelling, and this book is no exception. The emotional journey of the characters is so palpable that it left a lasting impact on me, making it an unforgettable experience.

The protagonist, Briana, is a compelling and fiercely independent woman with an enchanting blend of vulnerability and strength. Her struggle to come to terms with her past and open herself up to love again is an exploration of raw human emotions. As I followed Bri's journey, I found myself cheering for her triumphs and empathizing with her vulnerabilities.

The romance in "Yours Truly" is delicately balanced, unfolding in a slow and organic manner. The chemistry between Kit and the enigmatic dual leading men, Jamie and Sam, sizzles on the page. Their unique personalities and complex pasts add layers of intrigue to the narrative, making it impossible to predict the outcome. Abby Jimenez expertly navigates this love triangle, avoiding clichés and creating a refreshingly realistic portrayal of love's complexities.

Beyond the romantic elements, "Yours Truly" delves into the themes of self-discovery and familial bonds. The exploration of family dynamics and the impact of past trauma on the present adds depth and emotional resonance to the story.

Abby Jimenez's writing style is a breath of fresh air - accessible, engaging, and infused with just the right amount of humor. Her prose flows effortlessly, allowing the reader to immerse themselves completely in the world she has created.

Ultimately, "Yours Truly" is a multifaceted gem that sparkles with emotion, love, and authenticity. Abby Jimenez has crafted a masterpiece that not only entertains but also leaves the reader pondering the intricacies of life, love, and the importance of embracing vulnerability.

"Yours Truly" deserves nothing less than five stars. Abby Jimenez has gifted us with a poignant and unforgettable story that will stay in our hearts long after we've turned the final page. If you're looking for a book that will sweep you off your feet and make you believe in the transformative power of love, then this is the book for you.

If I could give this book a thousand stars, I would. This 100% topped Part of your world!! The characters. The love story. The mental health representation. Amazing.

I will devour anything Abby Jimenez and will continue to do so but this was unfortunately not my favorite. I think when an author has set a bar so high that sometimes it makes reading subsequent books harder if they don’t knock it put of the park. This was a miss for me because the characters felt aggravatingly immature. Just talk to each other!! Miscommunication trope is my least favorite and this seemed so silly and forced to create angst and a plot.

Short synopsis: Briana’s divorce is just finalized now she has some competition at work in the form of Jacob Maddox. Jacob needs a date for a wedding so they fake date.

My thoughts: I’m embarrassed to admit how long it took me to remember this was the second in the Part of Your World Series. I really liked the cameo of Alexis and Daniel, and especially Kevin Bacon (the pig). That being said this can stand alone!

I really enjoyed this Workplace initial enemies to friends to Fake dating to lovers story. Bri and Jacob were soo tender with each other and really tried to help the other feel comfortable in all the uncomfortable situations.

⚠️ Possible Spoiler ⚠️
I really loved just about everything in this story except the accidental pregnancy (which actually turned out adorable in the end, and I don’t feel like it forced them together.) And the complete lack of communication.

“We’re all a little broken, Briana. We are a mosaic. We’re made up of all those we’ve met and all the things we’ve been through. There are parts of us that are colorful and dark and jagged and beautiful. And I love every piece of you. Even the ones you wish didn’t exist.”

Read if you love:

* Broken souls swearing off relationships
* Perfect place perfect time
* Workplace romance
* Nemesis to friend to fake dating

I absolutely love Abby Jimenez and will read anything she writes! YOURS TRULY was the sequel I didn't know I needed. Worked perfectly as a standalone, but oh my heart — loved that Briana got her story told. The sweetest romance with all the best tropes.

This was one of my most anticipated reads honestly ever possibly. I adored Bri's character from Part of Your World so much. I couldn't wait to read her story!
When I tell you guys that I was unwell when I finished this book...I was UN FREAKING WELL.
Abby is the queen of romcoms...I bow down to her. There were literal hysterical moments in this book I was dying over. Then there were moments I was bawling my eyes out.
Jacob's family you guys...you are not ready for the hilarity and heart warming moments they bring! Like can I PLEASE join them for thanksgiving this year? How do I make this happen?
Also? The accurate representation of a person with anxiety in this book was so amazing. Literally so wonderfully on point. I was so grateful to read that and be able to relate. As someone who has dealt with anxiety my entire life, I can promise you this representation was so well done.
There were moments of my own love story that I saw as well.
The fear of letting someone in and trusting them not to break your heart. The urge to run can be so strong.
This book was so raw and real. I devoured it and I will honestly never stop thinking about Bri and Jacob. This book was all could hope for, I will never stop recommending it! Thank you for giving me an ARC. I cherished every single written word.
This book comes out on April 11th and

Yours Truly

This was my first book by Abby and certainly won’t be my last. Wow how have I waited so long to read this romance authors books?!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I loved these characters Briana and Jacob. Jacob I could totally relate to with his introverted, social anxiety, and overall anxiety issues. It was refreshing to see a character like him in a book.

The chemistry between Briana and Jacob was amazing and witty and just what you want in a romance.

It was the perfect enemies to lovers romance trope. One bed trope. Workplace romance. Fake dating

I loved all the different romance tropes involved.

My only “annoyance” is the miscommunication that happens because of an overheard half conversation.

Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez was cute and funny. Thank you Forever Pub for the Netgalley copy to review.

There is some medical content as there always seems to be in her books so check content warnings as needed.

I did find the medical storyline completely unnecessary as I did with her last book as well. The couples she writes are always so in love and fun banter even with difficult situations sometimes. The only part I don’t love about them is the medical storyline and how secondary and thrown in they feel sometimes. I wish they were either completely central with detail or left out, but that’s just me. I did love the anxiety rep and thought it added interest to this romance as well. I really liked these two and fake dating is one of my top favourite tropes.

After Jacob writes Bri an apology letter and she writes him back, the notes become the highlight of her day. Bri has a lot going on - she recently divorced her cheating husband and her brother needs a kidney transplant. When she finds out that Jacob is donating his kidney to her brother, she agrees to be his fake girlfriend until after his brothers wedding (to Jacob’s ex-girlfriend). However, they begin having real feelings during their fake relationship. (Maybe read the book blurb if this doesn’t make sense.🤣)

I enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed the rest of Abby Jimenez’s books - she is good at what she does! I liked Bri and Jacob, and I liked them together. I’d recommend the audiobook!

Thank you so much to Forever and Netgalley for an arc of this book.

I absolutely loved this novel! Jimenez has become an auto read and auto buy author of mine and this book further cemented her as a favourite author. Jimenez’s writing is beautiful and I am able to easily connect with her characters.

I loved Briana and Jacob and I would happily read more about them. Writing this review makes me want to reread the book! I especially loved the epistolary aspect to this novel! Actually I loved everything. Highly recommend this wonderful book!

i don’t think this was abby’s best work 😞 i’ve loved all of her books but this was a 3.5. while i loved the characters individually i did not love them together. i didn’t find the relationship to be believable and it lacked charisma

Extrovert meets introvert with anxiety-- and empathy wins the day. Briana and Jacob give each other grace after a terrible first meeting and learn there's some serious sparks, especially after they agree to fake-date to help give Jacob's anxiety some space from his family. And of course the fake-dating totally fails-- there's even an "only one bed" scene. Good slow burn and lots of work by both Bri and Jacob to be better people.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ½ — A sweet romance for spring! 🌼

I recently read another popular romance novel with this same troupe — boy meets girl, one of them needs a fake SO for an upcoming wedding and chaos in-sues. While that novel was painful (and boring) YOURS TRULY was exactly what the doctor ordered. The main characters — Briana, an ER doctor jaded by a disastrous marriage and troubled childhood, and Jacob, an ER doctor riddled with social anxiety and fresh off a troubled break up, are perfectly imperfect. I loved them both and was silently dying inside each time they got their signals crossed and couldn’t express their feelings to one another! Where other novels may overplay this troupe, I was delighted with both the character development and dialogue.

A splash of comic relief from the extended family, from a taxidermist dad to the meddling sisters and a grumpy, chain smoking grandpa and you’ve got a real winner in this sweet romance novel coming spring 2023! Perfect for fans of Jojo Moyes, Emily Henry, Taylor Jenkins Reid, and Colleen Hoover!

Thanks to Forever/Grand Central Publishing & Netgalley for providing me the opportunity to read/review in advance!

Abby Jimenez does not miss with her books! I knew that I would love Briana from her introduction in Part of Your World. Even though the book feels light, it really tackles issues of trauma, anxiety, miscarriage, and trust. In the same vein it's also big on family and humor which makes it such an endearing love story. I love cute elements like Briana and Jacob sending each other letters as a way to break the ice. Jacob is such a sweetheart and honestly a saint with how he handles things, especially with his brother and his fiancé. It was really refreshing to see how he maneuvers life with his anxiety, and I loved that Briana was instantly protective of him. Their personalities might seem opposite but together they are really more similiar than they realized. Loved this book.

I absolutely ADORED this book! I truly felt every emotion while reading this story and I related so heavily to both Brianna and Jacob. This is one of those books that I foresee myself rereading multiple times in the future. Abby Jimenez can truly do no wrong and I look forward to reading everything she writes in the future.

Brianna and Jacob are a match made in rom-com heaven!!

First impressions aren't everything, right??!! After literally knocking each other down, Dr. Brianna Ortiz and Dr Jacob Maddox manage to pull each other up and fall into the the role of the supportive partner neither knew they could have.

Abby's books just continue to set the bar higher for me with every next read. The witty banter, the sweet moments, the safe partners, the thoughtful communication...this book just has it all!!!!

This book was so sweet! I need to know where Abby Jimenez finds inspiration for her male main characters, Daniel and Jacob are literally the sweetest guys ever.

I thought the fake dating trope was done really well here. I loved Brianna and Jacob together. The third act break up made me upset bc I just wanted Brianna to realize how much Jacob loves her but I did understand why she was hesitant after everything.

JACOB MADDOX. If anyone wants to know what the inside of my brain looks like, read Jacob’s POV bc we’re like the same person. I absolutely love when MMC’s have anxiety and it’s discussed in the book. I especially loved that in this one it’s not just discussed briefly but it’s just part of who he is and it’s talked about throughout and how having social anxiety effects him. I related a little too hard to that one.

All the side characters were so entertaining. Especially Jacob’s grandpa and sisters. It was awesome getting glimpses of Alexis and Daniel from Part of Your World.

Such a good read. I kept procrastinating finishing it because I loved Brianna and Jacob’s relationship so much.
