While the idea behind this story is fun, kids faking into a world made of cardboard, it is a little confusing to follow without having read the other story. It did make me want to read the other story though, to catch up as this is intriguing to me. It did read a little start and stop for me, the plot a little disjointed.
Without having read the first of the Cardboardia graphic novels, the second volume was fun. I'm going to wait until I can read the first and second one together before giving it a full review, but so far this serious is good!
This graphic novel follows the adventures of friends stuck in the land of Cardboardia. I have to admit that this storyline didn't flow as well for me personally, but the illustrations are fantastic! I found the story confusing, but I still think this would be an enjoyable book for the targeted middle grade audience.
