So much promise with so little delivery. I have been trying to finish this book for a year plus and am finally calling it - this is just such a let down for me.

A quick, easy read. Unfortunately, not something I really enjoyed.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an e-ARC copy of this book, in exchange for this honest review.

⭐⭐⭐

This was a quick, funny, and heartfelt read. I even shed a tear or two near the end. That said, I kept waiting for a twist that never came. And because there was no twist to give the book more depth and maybe a stronger reason for all the events that take place, I was left feeling a little "meh". I also think the plot could have been fleshed out more. I still have NO clue why they demoted Anna in the first place?? 🤷🏻‍♀️

When I read the premise I was a little excited. It sounded amazing, something a bit different and more than just a basic storyline.
The concept was a good one, the execution unfortunately wasn’t.
It didn’t really take off as I expected it too, with each page I was hopeful it would improve or that something big would happen to lift it.
I’m afraid none of that actually happened.
I was left feeling a bit ….meh, at the end.
It had a lot of potential but it didn’t really fulfill it.
Thank you to the author, the publisher and Netgalley for my arc.

This is a brilliant book that helps you escape your life. The authors writing style is so easy to follow and quick to read. The plot reminded me of Emily in Paris crossed with Lucifer.

It’s Christmas Eve, and Nathaniel Banks is in despair. But when he begs for help from above, heaven help him, they send Anna Frost.

Anna Frost has lost everything she holds dear, her job and her sword. She started the day as a lieutenant in Heaven’s army, but by the end of it, she finds herself stuck on Earth as a Guardian, in a freezing cold Central Park. Anna Frost is having the worst Christmas Eve ever!

Fortunately, Anna is an angel with an F-Plan, and under the watchful gaze of her fellow Guardians, the flirtatious Leonardo and food-loving Holly, this feisty foot-soldier focuses all her efforts on fixing Nathaniel Banks so she can get her feathers back ASAP.

But unfortunately for Anna, forgotten footsteps, foul play and forbidden fruit soon put her foolproof plan in jeopardy, and this featherless fighter must learn to move Heaven and Earth if her F-Plan is to succeed.

Angels going on a mission? LOVE IT! That’s how I felt when I read the blurb and I really wanted to like this one, but unfortunately, this one fell a little flat for me.

This story follows an angel, Anna Frost, who was sent on a mission to assist Nathaniel Frost when he begged for help in despair. The last thing Anna wanted to do was to be a guardian to a civilian. She was looking for more excitement in her role but instead she was stuck with Nathaniel. In a split second, Anna lost everything she holds dear and was in despair herself. She quickly gains help and maximize her efforts to help Nathaniel so she could get back to her old self. Little did she know, she would find joy on Earth too and rediscovered the little things that she had missed in her previous role.

I do enjoy Anna’s character. She is a little goofy as she tries to succeed in her mission and groans at every obstacle she stumbles upon. I love how she met good people in her life who helped her re-evaluate that there is more to life than just fulfilling her mission. Unfortunately, the conversations got a bit dull and repetitive which kind of dragged the whole story down.

I love the concept of the story and I felt the pacing could go a little faster. Thank you Netgalley and Cranthorpe Milner Publishers for the arc.

Thank you net galley for providing me with a copy of Annas F-plan in exchange for a honest review.

Honestly the premise sounded intriguing but the execution sadly felt flat. I was prepared for a humorous light hearted novel and this failed to fill that criteria. The pacing also was quite rushed and many of the interactions between characters felt flat.

I absolutely loved the sound of this book, angels on a mission is a huge fave of mine. Unfortunately I couldn't get into this one.

Everything just felt a bit flat, and rushed. I couldn't vibe with any of the characters, and I didn't really know entirely what was going on for a good part of it.

Really wanted to like this one, but unfortunately it just didn't quite get there for me.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read an eARC for this one!

This was one of those books where my expectation was completely wrong. I thought it was going to be a funny, possibly even a bit slapstick but it fell a little flat. The story is simple but thickened with dull interactions between Anna and her fellow angels. Even come the end I’m not entirely sure what those interactions really brought to the story other than slowing it down. The concept was great, the execution lacking some wit and light heartedness for me. I hate to say it but this one left me bored and willing it to end.

Thanks @netgalley for the early access sadly this one wasn’t for me
