Great children's book about sharks. I actually saw this and another book coming out at my library soon. I saw some of the IRL pictures and thought they looked great, even compared to the high quality digital versions. I think this was a great addition to the library collection and would suggest it for classrooms. Sharks and the ocean are two great areas of interest for kids and I think they'd value the opportunity to read more about them.
This nonfiction text teaches about a variety of sharks. There are several full-page sized photos and the text is large and fairly easy to read. The book has several non-fiction text features such as text boxes, labels and bold text which correspond to the glossary. It is well designed, has high interest content and has the supports needed to help young readers be successful in reading this book. As a grade 3 teacher, I would recommend this book to parents and teachers of children in the age 5-10 range. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me the chance to read and review this book!

This is a children’s book about sharks for ages 3-5. I read this to a medically fragile 2yr old while I was administering her meds, and she absolutely LOVED it! Sat completely still and was utterly enthralled🤩, which made my job easier 💪 . She couldn’t get enough of the pictures. They are not only high quality (I’m talking Discovery/Animal Planet here), but visually convey the differences between the various types of sharks. You also get a decent amount of information/facts along with the stunning visuals. I can honestly say that both the 2yr old and I found this book entertaining and educational. I thought I knew everything there was to know about sharks via SHARK WEEK 🦈, boy was I wrong. 😅😜

I can't review the full book, due to missing words, but I wanted to review.
The pictures were clear bright and wonderfully. They drew me to the book and make me happy. I'm rating on what I saw and I liked what I saw
What a fantastic book! My kids are 3 and 5 and LOVE anything about sharks and the ocean. I found this book to be very informational with lots of fun facts, in addition to being visually stunning. The photographs and layout were extremely eye-catching and overall I thought this would be a great addition to our collection.
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
When I saw thus book, I had to read it. Sharks are my all time favorite animal. Sharks are the most misunderstood animal in the world. What I love about the book is, the info is actually right. Great pictures and beautifully written. Hopefully the author will write more on sharks. There are so many sharks that no one knows about like, the Goblin shark, and the epaulette shark, and the Spotted Wobbegong. Beautiful pics and the most beautiful pictures. Love it!! Before I forget, this book is a children's book.
I got a free copy of this book and is voluntarily writing a review
