I was keen to get stuck into this one and I have to say, it really did get me hooked early on. I spent a lot of the book a but confused about the characters choices but as it got further into the book, everything is suddenly not what it seemed and it all falls into place. Ots so cleverly written that you don't see the twists coming but they do fit in beautifully. A really engaging and captivating read! And a very original and fresh take on a thriller story
This book is a bit different from what I normally read! It was definitely a good read! It had light suspense, intrigue, murder, mystery, a great who done it and many crazy twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and had me glued to my Kindle! I definitely recommend reading this book as it was worth reading! I would say it wasn't one of my top favorites but it was very interesting and still worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher and author. A child in a photo is missing. Did she ever exist? If so, where is she? This talented author has written a novel that reads like nonfiction. The story moves quickly, and the characters are realistic.
So this entire book I kept thinking why don’t they just tell her what happened? Why doesn’t Mercy ever say anything during the Friday meetings? Why isn’t anything on line? It just seemed to drag on with no answers as to what happened. But then you get towards the end and you realize nothing is as you think. Shocking twists at the end. Overall not bad. I just feel like it took awhile to get to the good parts.
