Plot Summary :
Raven knows she does not deserve anything good in this life. She has hurt too many innocent souls for that. And she needs to pay. She know swhat is coming and sinner or later smokey will throw her out for what happened with his women and her involvement in that. And she does not blame him. She deserves it all. That is until she gets a job. To gaurd the cartel king. Carlos. He is nothing like she has ever met before and she finds that she likes being with him because he values her opinion. He wants to love her and she might just allow him to do that.
Carlos knows the gem Raven is. And when he gets a chance to keep her , he takes it. He knows it will break her heart when she learns the truth but there is no other way. This is for the best. Because the stay that Raven considers is a job for her? It's not temporary. She is here to stay with him and there is no way he is letting her go.
Overall Opinion :
Raven is here! I have been waiting for this book ever since i read smokey. That book was a gem and so is this one! I honestly never expect Sam to disappoint and that turns out to be true! Raven is a masterpiece for all the biker romance lovers out there. Although this one is a standalone z I think the best experience would be to read them all in order.
This book is dark and raven absolutely broke my heart. The things she went through were so much. I loved her a lot and wanted to hug her so bad! She finally had her happy ending and that makes me so happy because she did deserve it all. Definitely recommending this one to all the dark romance loving people out there.

I enjoyed this story as I always do with this author.
She writes great crime romance, and I like that her books are now longer than some in the past.
She always writes about heroines that are plus sized which is how I began reading this author years ago. I look forward to reading more in this series by the author.

I had a love/hate relationship with Smokey and Raven, but I really did enjoy watching them and their story evolve through the pages. If you enjoy a bit of dark, a bit of drama, some yummy steam, and all things MC, grab this one, settle in, and enjoy! 4 Stars!

Oh boy. I usually put expectations aside and enjoy a Sam Crescent novel for the sake of it. I know the plot is going to be a little fast and loose and belief is at its height of suspension., but even this one was a little hard to not go “ok….really” which was a little distracting. I’m still a huge fan and will continue to read this author without pause. Just manage the expectations…

Raven is hands down one of the best books I've read by Sam Crescent. I can't describe how much I love this book and I don't mind rereading it all over again. Highly recommend to read it after Smokey!

Raven by Sam Crescent is book Three in the Hell's Bastards MC Series. This is the story of Raven and Carlos. Raven has had a hard life which has reflected on her through her attitude and some of the things she does. Carlos is the new head of the mafia and wants Raven. This starts their story.

I recommend reading books 1 and 2 before this one to truly understand the story and the emotions me and the rest of the readers felt as we read this perfect addition to the series.
It was interesting and I wasn't able to put the book down as the story blossomed into the narration.
Would recommend this series to others.

Wow. Such a great book! I would have definitely finished in one sitting if I had started during the day. It kept me intrigued and wanting more the whole time. Definitely a must read.

*3.5 stars*
Loyalty and brotherhood above all else…
And suddenly Raven finds herself in a position she never thought she’d be in. I started this series in the wrong place – this is the third of the Hell’s Bastards MC reads – and there had been a lot going on to get to this time and place. A lot! And all of it leading Raven to now. A place of uncertainty in which she’d always felt welcomed. Felt at home. Suddenly everything she’d been, and done, to this point was in question. And she wasn’t sure where she was going to land except out in the cold. Again…
Carlos was drawn to Raven and could see clearly how things were going to end up for her. He was going to save her, regardless if she needed or wanted it, and that began a deception that started off with the best of intentions. And, of course, we all know how that goes…
I loved the real spark and emotion between the H and h even if I disliked the lies that allowed their relationship to grow. Waiting for the shoe drop – and you knew it would happen – had me worrying and enjoying in equal measure.
I wish I’d read the first two books first but I’ll be heading there next as I want to go back to the beginning to savour this story one more time with all the blanks filled in...

A big thank you to NetGalley and Evernight Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I truly enjoyed this book, I was a bit surprised. I usually don't read this genre. I found the chemistry between Raven and Carlos was smoking! 4 stars Just a fun read.

I was waiting for Raven book Since I finished Smokey. While I can see Raven felt guilty and blame herself for what happened to Ava, I want to see what actually she felt since start and I regret wanting it later because I couldn't handle how much Raven was hurting. She has so much hurt, secrets, pain and guilt within her that I wanted to hug her. I love how all the ladies Ava, Harlow and Abrianna stood up.
Carlos, Man I wanted to hit him sometimes and even smokey. I understand he wanted raven in his life but his actions want to smack him hard. The groveling is top notch and I think that's one of the best thing in Sam crescent books that ladies doesn't give in easily and make men grovel for the mistakes they did.
If you hated Raven in smokey book you really need to pick this book right away because you will see how amazing and beautiful raven is as a person.

At first, I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about an MC/Mafia crossover… but overall I liked this book a lot.
I enjoyed most of the main characters and the chemistry they had. The only thing I thought was a little tiresome was the storyline behind Ava. It just seemed really repetitive to keep bringing it up through out the story.

The feelings I felt during this book were a rollercoaster. Carlos and Raven’s love story was heartwarming and the way you could see how much he loved her just made the book even better. From the first chapter, I was already immersed into the pretty dark world that Raven was in and as the book progressed, I could feel Raven’s pain, her highs and lows. A great story with the heat in it! Absolutely pick it up!

Raven still has tremendous guilt over torturing Ava when ordered by her club pres Smokey who believed that Ava had betrayed the club. When Smokey starts removing people who were involved, Raven knows that it's only a matter of time before she is removed too. Mafia Man Carlos wants Raven and makes a deal with Smokey that helps Smokey and allows him to hopefully keep Raven forever. Raven has a disturbing past which makes sense why she so strongly feels for Smokey and the club and is reliant on them for her family. She is slow to trust Carlos but he really shows Raven that he really cares for her but will she be able to move past the hurt when she finds out that Smokey basically gave her away? I really enjoyed this story much more than Smokey because that one really was quite brutal and I don't know that I would ever have forgiven him if I was Ava but you do need to read it to understand why Raven is feeling so guilty and lost. We get Raven's back story and can see why Carlos would be so drawn to a brave and damaged soul like Raven's.

I love Raven!! She is a badass biker chick! She has spent so much time caring for others. In Hell's Bastards MC she is a patched in menber. At this point Raven views herself as less than. She has made some previous mistakes. Due to them she is extremely focused on doing her job and doing it well.
Carlos is a mob boss. He was recently put in charge. He works with the bikers to help further his position and power. When his life is threatened he gets Raven in an exchange with the MC boss. He is obsessed with Raven in a good way. He wants to show her she has worth.

I have thought Raven was an interesting character from the first book in this series and was so happy that she was getting her own book. I was not disappointed. However, I was not expecting it to cry like I did.
This book went so much deeper than the story of Carlos and Raven's relationship. It told the story of how broken she was and how she got there. It expanded on the aftermath of what happened in Smokey. It was a story of love, betrayal, and forgiveness.
It is my favorite out of the series, and there is definitely some set up for more books in this series.
While I did receive an advanced copy, all opinions are my own

There is a certain immature quality attached to the characters in this book that I wasn't fond of. I think the plot and storyline has promise, but based on the style of writing alone I don't think it will get the full appraisal it deserves.

I didn't realize this was the 3rd book in a series.
But! I feel like I was able to catch up on what events happened prior to this book because the author did an amazing job with details. Everything was very well written and the push and pull of Raven and Carlos kept me soooo intrigued.
This book is defiantly worth reading the first two! A great MC series.

Raven is the only female in the Hell’s Bastards Motorcycle Club. She has had a very rough childhood. Raven notices the Prez cleaning house by getting rid of the “girls” who hurt his wife. Raven is sure she is next because of her part in it. Carlos is the head boss of the Santiago mafia. He helped Raven when she was beaten and now he wants her for his wife. Carlos and Stormy, Prez of HB Motorcycle Club, come to an agreement. Someone tried to kill Carlos and Stormy sends her to be his bodyguard. He plans on getting her pregnant and marrying her. But when she finds out their plans, she quits the Club and leaves Carlos. Will Carlos earn her forgiveness and have a happily ever after?
I’ll be honest, I almost quit reading after the first chapter or so. I had no idea what was going on. But I stuck with it and I’m glad a did. Sex. Secrets. Bikers. Mafia. It would be best to read the ones before this one. Keep some Kleenex’s near because it is a tearjerker.
