I was swept away by this book. The narrators performed it magnificently, every emotion, both confusion, sadness, and inexplicable magical moments, felt through their voice. Now, absolutely one of my favorite books of all time! The writing is full of romance, magic, reality, and hope, and the writing style conveyed everything that needed to be conveyed. I felt as if I was truly there, the scenery vivid in my mind and the emotions touching my heart. I could see their faces and movements and hear their sighs or whispered words. A perfect romance that I never knew I wanted but now need, and a book I will absolutely buy as soon as I can! This is a must have book and one that you need to read right now because the romantic escape and hopeful one that it provides is untouchable and one I would never give up!
Three Kisses, One Midnight was such a cute story involving three best friends at a Halloween party. I really appreciated how all three stories were able to magically interweave within each other. The main and secondary characters were fun to get to know and they were all written very well. I especially enjoyed the element of friendship as the underlying thread of the book and the possibility of love when you least expect it.
The various narrators were great; making this a fun audiobook to listen to.
If you’re looking for the perfect YA novel to get you into the Halloween spirit, this is the book for you!
Thank you Wednesday Books for the gifted copy and Macmillan Audio for the alc. Thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.
I went into this book completely blind, the cover was very cute and it sounded (from the title) like it may be a fairytale which is absolutely my jam, and with Roshani Chokshi I figured why not? I was not disappointed.
This book is 3 stories in one, each story follows one of three best friends on one magical night. They all find love, but in very different ways and not as expected, and the night itself is charged with magic and infused with mystery. All around, I would and will absolutely recommend this to anyone who likes fairytales, magic, and love. The characters were cute and engaging, the world was well enough fleshed out and it was a feel good tale.
Thank you NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for providing me with an advance review copy of this book for free in exchange for my honest review.
Three Kisses, One Midnight is three stories of three high school friends on Halloween preparing to go to their annual Halloween party and hoping for better luck with love. Onny believes in the stars and magic, and she concocts a plan to make a love potion for each of them. For the potion to work, both people must touch the potion and already have the potential for a connection.
In each story, we get a different take on love. Onny is hoping to connect with a boy she’s had a crush on, but discovers that she and her school nemesis may actually be a better fit. Ash has had a crush on the girl next door, but has been too shy to say something. And, after being burned in her past relationship, True doesn’t even want to find love.
My take:
These stories are super cute. I love the backdrop of the magical town and the lore of the Lady of Moon Ridge. The teacher and mayor’s grumpy / sunshine relationship and roles as background characters are fantastic.
My favorite of the three stories is definitely Ash’s. I love the disability rep of his tenacious love interest, Cassidy, and his artist’s soul. Their story is adorable, too. My least favorite is True’s. I find it hard to believe - even in a magical story - that two teenagers think they’ve found love and a soulmate in a matter of hours.
Onny’s story: 4 stars
Ash’s story: 5 stars
True’s story: 3 stars
Overall, I’d say it gets about 3.5 stars from me. A cute Halloween read though, if you’re looking for a treat!
All three narrators do an exceptional job on narrating these tales!
An astronomically magical read! This is probably one of the most fun YA romances I've read in awhile, and the fall vibes made for a great way to start September. The stories of Onny, Ash, and True were adorable, but I would have read an entire book about Mr. Brightside and Mayor Grimjoy; If there were to be a prequel/sequel/origin story that centered on them I would be first in line to buy it.
Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC! I really enjoyed this audiobook :)
I am trying to read more of my Netgalley requests than I request until I'm caught up but I just couldn't resist requesting this audiobook when I saw who the authors were, even though it was only a couple days before publication. I just LOVE Roshani Chokshi and Sandhya Menon! I haven't read Evelyn Skye but before now I definitely want to.
I found this story absolutely delightful. The characters were cute and charmingly naive. I wasn't surprised by anything that happened in the story but I didn't really need to be. I found myself thinking about the book when I wasn't able to listen, which was a great feeling. I would definitely read more stories set in Moon Ridge!
I did find the group message texts a little annoying in audio but I don't think there's a way to fix that. I gave this 4.5/5 stars (but I always round up).
Cw: child organ transplant, emotional abuse
Thank you Macmillan Audio and NetGalley for the advanced electronic audio review copy of this great book! It’s a wonderful anthology full of great writing, characters, and witchy fun. Recommend to those who love YA romance, paranormal, and Halloween vibes.

Thank you to Netgalley and Macmillan Audio for an ALC of this book.
This book tells the story of 3 best friends over the course of one Halloween night as they find love and romance with the help of a little magic.
This was very cute! I will say that I vastly preferred the first story to the other two, and as I kept reading the romances felt very repetitive. I didn't think there was enough to distinguish them from each other. I felt like this overall was a pretty average and cookie-cutter type romance story. It was cute though and worth the read if you are in the mood for something cheesy and romantic.

This was such a fun anthology to bring in fall! I have always loved Roshani Chokshi's writing, but now I am a fan of her AND Sandhya Menon and Evelyn Skye. Despite being three "separate" stories, their writing styles meshed flawlessly. Roshani's writing continues to be my favorite with her stunning descriptions, beautifully vivid characters, and flawless banter. Her story was my favorite! I also loved the banter between her two characters. I found myself instantly drawn in to her story because of their banter and how three dimensional her characters were. I also loved how light hearted these three stories were. They had just the right amount of creepiness, while also being lighthearted and fun! The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars was because I thought parts of the other two stories felt forced. Loved the stories!
I also loved these three narrators! They made the story so much more fun and brought the characters even more to life!
I loved the narrator for this and each of the author's writing style is so unique. Three Kisses, One Midnight is a beautiful anthology that also has a strong emphasis on friendship. This is very cute and fun to listen to.
This is probably going to go down in history as one of the cutest YA romances. The magic in this book was so unique and lyrical and definitely makes this book a must read!

Guys! This is seriously the cutest YA romance!
It perfectly encapsulates the Halloween small town vibes. Not only is the romance so sweet, but the friendship between our main characters is pure magic.
This novel combines three intertwining stories that take place in a magic touched town on Halloween. Each of our main characters has the opportunity for a happily ever after, if only they are brave enough to take it. With the help of a potential ghost and a meddling teacher, things just might end how they are supposed to...even if it's not how our main characters think they should!
You will fly through this one and I highly recommend the audio version. We have a different narrator for each story and they perfectly capture the character they are reading for. It's a one sitting listen - trust me!
Three Kisses, One Midnight will be released August 30th and if it's not already on your tbr, it should be!

Special thanks to Macmillan Audio and NetGalley for sharing an arc with me in exchange for my honest opinions.
Onny, True, and Ash are best friends and like to hang out after high school and pursue their unique interests. When Onny finds a recipe from her grandmother for a love potion, she makes enough to go around. They decide to use the potion during the huge masquerade party that is being thrown on the 400th anniversary of the founding of their town. As they search for love on this night, they stumble across unexpected truths and mysteries that encourage them to take a deeper look at themselves.
I enjoyed the way that this work was set up – it is divided into three sections, one for each of the friends, and follows each of them throughout the night of the masquerade. This made it read like three novellas rather than one continuous story, but I didn’t mind that. The concept of this work was interesting and executed well, and the authors excelled at incorporating a Halloween mood throughout the book. However, the magic and paranormal aspect of the work was very light, not really becoming present until near the end of the work – I would have liked to see a bit more incorporation of these things.
The characters were all quite well written. Each of the three main characters had a unique voice and were relatable in their own ways as were their love interests. The secondary characters were also well written and varied, making for an interesting read. I enjoyed the diversity of the characters and how that was woven throughout their stories
I listened to the audiobook version of this work, and thought the narrators did an excellent job at bringing the characters to life, though there were a couple of mispronunciations that I noticed in the audio.
This was a unique, fun YA romance and I recommend it to anyone who likes YA and romance. It was an easy read, and I quite enjoyed it. My thanks to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for allowing me to read and review this work, which was published today! All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own.
Halloween night, the annual Midnight Gala, and the 400 year anniversary of the town of Moon Ridge combine to create one magical night for three teenage best friends. Armed with the love potion spell left by her grandmother, Onny tries to convince her friends to use it to find their true loves, but things do not turn out the way she, Ash, and True expect.
Told in three sections, one from each friend’s point of view, Three Kisses, One Midnight delivers a love triangle, an enemies-to-lovers scenario, a combination neighbors plus opposites attract pairing, and a love when you least expect it situation.
The three audiobook narrators captured the distinct personalities of the best friends—the ringleader who believes in spells and magic, the introverted artist, and the scientist who is firm in her beliefs. They kept me engaged and engrossed in the story, and the audiobook passed by quickly.
If you are looking for a sweet and magical spooky season escape, check out Three Kisses, One Midnight.
I received an advance copy of the audiobook from Macmillan Audio and NetGalley. All review opinions are my own.
CW: deceased loved one, organ transplant, gaslighting
This book is one of the cutest YA romance out there. I don't think I've read a story this unique in awhile. It's a perfect read for those who are wanting a bit of hocus pocus vibes and romance.
I loved how all 3 stories connected and how they are best of friends. Gosh, I don't want to spoil it but it has put me in a Halloween mood and I LOVE it!
My favorite stories were True, and Onny but I loved how they were all uniquely told in the story.
I especially loved how the title comes to play in the book!
I highly recommend the audiobook. The narrators, Becca Q. Co, Ewan Chung, and Shiromi Arserio did an amazing job of portraying the main characters. The emotions and tones used were unique for each character and scenes. They breathed life into the characters and kept me engaged the entire time.
Many thanks to Macmillan Audio and Netgalley for the ALC.
This is an adorable tale of friendship, love, and magic. It's told from the point of view of three different characters and follows them as a mysterious adventure unfolds over the course of a magical Halloween night.
This was such a cute story! I love how each character's adventure intertwined with the others and felt like it was done in such a great way. It really allowed me to feel like I got a complete picture of the friend group and the rest of the world.
I love the town of Moon Ridge and its magical lore. It gave me very Stars Hollow vibes (Gilmore Girls fans get me). Just a cute little town in the midst of getting ready for a big Halloween party.
Overall, this was just such an adorable Halloween mystery romance. It's not something I knew I wanted, but I'm so happy I found it.
5 stars for 3 stories in one!
Onny, Tru, and Ash are one tight knit "coven". When Onny decides to make a love potion recipe her grandmother made for her(who has recently passed away) she decides that the Halloween Midnight Gala is the perfect place for her and her coven to find true love, sealed with a kiss before midnight. This love potion isn't one to force love, so feelings must already be present to be amplified. The book begins with Onny's story on finding her perfect potion victim and what happens when it ends up drunk by the worst person possible. Ash's story follows up, then followed by Tru. Each story plots a different course for love, but can they all find happily ever after?
Each of these stories is 5 stars on their own, so for them to be all in one is just an extra delight for readers. I love that they are short, sweet, and too the point while giving readers everything they need to know of backstory. The coven is given plenty of page time for you to root for each of them to find love with a bit of the supernatural sprinkled in. Adorable all the way around, and for three different authors to make three stories weave so well together that I can't choose a favorite?! Bravo!
Five stars and a recommendation for Halloween season as these stories will get you in the mood for tricks and treats. Recommended for anyone who enjoys tarot and astrology, as well as those who just want a fun and young romance story. Age recommended for 12+, even adults will like this one. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an AudioARC in exchange for an honest review.
Quick Summary: A parts-to-whole YA with whimsical wonder, luna magic, and a good dose of L-O-V-E
My Review: Three Kisses, One Midnight: A Novel was such a delight to listen to and to experience. The title alone was enchanting enough to invite readers in.
What I Loved:
- I loved the playfulness, the humor, and the camaraderie shared by The Coven. The power of 3 (Onny, Ash, and True) was magical!
- I loved how different each story was. One story was enemies to more than enough. One story was shy hi. One story was True sight.
- I loved how each main character chose the path she most wanted to take. They each had distinct journeys.
- I loved the shout out and the acknowledging nod given to the oldie but goody in the first story. (You can never wrong with Earth, Wind, and Fire.)
- I loved the quirkiness and/or the attractiveness that many of the supporting characters demonstrated. It made them relatable and memorable.
- I loved the significance of the kisses. The 3-kiss concept was like a drum roll before a grand crescendo.
My favorite story was Onny and Byron's. Although it was predictable, it had just enough chemistry between the characters to have this reader silently cheering for the overachievers. Also, the emotional arcs were written well for both characters. They each had a notable backstory that helped to bring them to the point of where they were found as the main aces.
What I Noticed:
- The transitions did not flow as smoothly as I would have hoped.
My Final Say: This book had a kiss and a smile weaved into its pages.
Rating: 3.5/5
Recommend: Yes
Audience: Mid to Older YA
Level: PG-13/T
Appreciation goes to the authors, to the publisher, and to NetGalley, who provided access to an audio ARC in exchange for an honest review. The words I have shared are my own.

I love these authors other works but something about this book didn’t do it for me. I liked the premise of the Coven’s interconnected stories but I just felt bored through most of the book. It didn’t seem exciting or new or anything, unfortunately.
This was a fun, whimsical story about friendship and love and the magic that can be found in our everyday lives. I loved the dynamic between Onny, True, and Ash, and each of their love stories was very sweet, but I just wish we would have gotten more of them.
