⭐️4/5 stars.
As a romantic who instinctively looks for any little hint that I can use to ship characters, this book was so cute. I also loved that we got three short stories that fell under the same umbrella premise.
In a town that loves witchy vibes and celebrates its town founding that revolves around true love, on this particular Halloween, three friends go into the party with three love potions and go through their own romantic adventures.
The three friends reminded me a little of the three friends from the Netflix show, Never Have I Ever. Or maybe I was thinking of that show because the first story was similar to two characters from the show? Either way, each of the stories got cuter and cuter. Plus, I love that each story got its own narrators (I listened to the audiobook) and they were perfect for each of their characters.
I definitely recommend reading or listening to this story! It was a cute, feel-good story that I think will brighten anyones day.
Thank you to NetGalley & Macmillan Audio for providing the ARC for my honest review.

Thank you to Macmillan Audio and Netgalley for sending me an early copy of this book! All opinions are my own!

This was a super cute read that I devoured pretty much in one sitting! It's perfect for spooky season, especially if you still want romance and some sweetness in your spooky!

The representation is absolutely to die for!! There are many races and ethnicities represented in the 3 MCs and their love interests, there is LGBTQ+ representation, and then there is disability representation! The disability rep caught me off guard and I absolutely fangirled over it! One of the love interests had a lung disease and got lung transplants due to it. She is super strong, super sweet, and I wasn't ready for her story to hit so hard. I adored how diverse these stories were and how effortlessly that was done.

The romances are so sweet! There's enemies to lovers, second chance vibes, and strangers kind of insta love, so there is a romance for every type of reader here! They all felt very real and not forced, which I appreciate, especially for such a short amount of time for the romance to happen in.

I will say the first story was a bit slow for me, but once I got into it, I was hooked! I loved the spooky vibes of these stories and how the paranormal was sprinkled in to where it didn't feel obnoxious or overdone.

This is the perfect spooky season read for every type of reader!

I have to say I love all three of these authors individually as well as together. This was a cute witchy, romancy, ghosty book about a 3 friend coven. Albeit a little predictable I still really enjoyed it. Especially given the chance to listen to it. ♡

When I started this one, I assumed it was an anthology, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was in fact one story that was co-authored by three different authors. However, the book doesn't read as one continuous story. The plot is broken into three phases, and each phase is a POV from one of the three best friends that make up The Coven (Onny, Ash, and True).

Onny’s POV is first, and I immediately fell in love with her narrative. Onny lost her grandmother months prior, but before her grandmother died, she left a recipe for a love potion specifically for Onny to make. Onny decides that she’s going to make this love potion for her and her best friends, so that they can all find love by midnight on Halloween.

After Onny’s POV ends, the reader is shifted to Ash followed by True, and I just felt like I was pulled out of the magic of the story that was initially set up. The prose didn’t feel as free flowing. I think I also struggled with Ash’s and True’s POVs because I honestly can’t put into words why that is exactly.

I think this story would’ve worked much better if the authors either alternated POVs each chapter or integrated everyone throughout the story.
