this was great! I love a good revenge plot and this one gave it all to me. I loved it from the very beginning and honestly couldn't get enough.
The final installment in the series, The Revenge continues the plot twists and romance in ways that suspend reality. These stories read like TV shows to me, so they will appeal to those looking for some high drama and escape from their daily lives.
Book 3 in The Insiders Trilogy ~ absolutely not a standalone. Definitely must read The Insiders and The Damaged first.
Featuring ~ dual 1st person POV, tech genius, billionaire, steamage
Bailey & Kash
We begin with how Bailey is dealing with the aftermath of the shocking cliffhanger from the last book ~ non spoiler alert, she's not taking it well.
Quinn's court proceedings from what she did in book 1 is going on with a few other separate story lines. It was action packed with a few shocking zingers that I was happy with.
Overall, a great conclusion to the trilogy with a nice progression epilogue. I enjoyed this one more than the first two.
I was lucky enough to have both an audio copy and a kindle copy. Both were fine.
Narration:
Emma Galvin & Joe Arden ~ 10 hours 17 minutes ~ I loved Joe, more than Emma, but overall both did a fine job.
4/5 ⭐️ nice conclusion to the series. It was action-packed and there were plenty of twists and turns. I loved the epilogue. It was adorable and super sweet.
*Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for sending this to me in exchange for my honest review.
I love the audiobook. I love any book by this author. Cannot highly recommend this authors work without stating that I have a favorite because I’ve loved every single book I read by her. I loved the narration of this audiobook, and the overall story. The characters had me drawn in from the beginning till the very end. You can’t go wrong with this author definitely check out as many books as possible and definitely read this book.
I just love these books in the Insiders Trilogy, and fall more in love with each one as I've made my way through this series.
Kash and Bailey's story continues, where the last book left off, and I love that it features a slow burn story that builds and builds. I listened to this book on audio, and really enjoyed it.
*many thanks to St Martins Press and Macmillan Audio for the gifted copy for review
The Revenge by Tijan is the final installment of The Insiders trilogy and it was EVERYTHING I needed. Getting the conclusion to Bailey and Kashs' story, the suspense, and angst and the heartbreak. Gosh this was perfect Tijan!
This entire series hit so hard and I loved everything about it. It was so intense!
I adore these books!! A perfect romance with twists and darker aspects. I hope these get more recognition!!
Ugh, Tijan, why? Rein it in. Just constant melodrama and nonsense. Calhoun's motivations don't make sense; the endless plot twists are so completely unbelievable and laughable; the "heartfelt" conversations with supposedly teenaged Seraphina are cringeworthy; and Kash, one of the two MAIN CHARACTERS, is entirely one-dimensional. Were it not for Matt's occasional hilarity, the ending to this trilogy would've been entirely unredeemable to me.
Look, I love a good plot twist or some well-placed angst. BUT! You gotta let it simmer. That slow burn, that dread building in the pit of your stomach, THAT is what makes readers unable to put the book down AND what makes the impact of the eventual drama bomb SO GOOD. If it's amped up to 11 for 3 books of 300+ pages each, it's just noise.
This is the third installment in the series. Kash and Bailey's story continues where the second book left off. The story is original, entertaining, and captivating, filled with secrets and twists and turns. The world building is enthralling. The cast of side characters is impressive. The characters are well developed, and intriguing. This is a fantastic and epic conclusion to this amazing series. Emma Galvin and Joe Arden did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it!
Great ending to this trilogy. This had me from the start and I did not want to put it down. A bunch of twists & turns that I did not see coming. I would’ve liked to see more of Bailey and Kash together but the story called for the lack of time together. I am a fool for a good epilogue and this one was everything.
The Revenge is the final/third book in The Insiders trilogy and it was probably my favorite of the series. You definitely have to read the books sequentially to know what the heck is going on. I read the first books last month so the whole story was still fresh on my mind going into The Revenge. Bailey is still reeling from an unexpected tragedy. Kash is still hell bent on tracking down his grandfather, Calhoun Bastian a man who values money more than anything else, including family. The first books in the series were fairly straight forward so imagine my surprise when The Revenge gave some twists that I didn't see coming. Overall the trilogy felt a bit too new adult for me, but I can certainly see it being a book-tok favorite.
Rating: 4 stars
Special thanks to @macmillan.audio and @netgalley for an advanced listener's copy of The Revenge. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thank You NetGalley for my ARC!
The Revenge is the third and final book in The Insiders Trilogy. I enjoyed The Revenge and can't wait to read more books by Tijan. I loved Bailey and Kash.
The Revenge (The Insiders Trilogy #3) was a great read by Tijan. Bailey and Kash have lived in the shadows but they are now thrust into the public eye. They can do anything as long as they are together. Danger and challenges threaten the love and passion that binds them. Bailey is still reeling from the worst loss she has every dealt with. At the same time her enemies are closing in with even bigger secrets and twists coming to light. Everything is on the line for Bailey and Kash. I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.
Tijan fans rejoice! The conclusion to the Insiders trilogy is here and it is glorious! In this stunning final chapter, with new betrayals and dangers at every turn, the stakes have never been higher for both Kash and Bailey. Bailey wrestles with immobilizing grief over the loss of her mother; Kash discovers he has a twin brother with suspicious motives. Old enemies become allies, and friends become enemies as all the threads weave together, tighter and tighter. Seriously, I loved how completely all the loose ends were tied up. Expertly plotted and compulsively readable, I couldn't put it down.
If you're looking for a great romantic suspense series, look no further. Tijan has gifted us with another truly epic love story that beats all the odds.
Thank you to Macmillan Audio for my advance listening copy. I love the dual narrators. Both Joe Arden and Emma Galvin delivered excellent performances.
I’m just going to be extremely honest here. I was trying to work on my netgally ratio and I requested this book because I’ve read and loved Tijan before, but I had no idea what this book was about.
I should have looked because it’s book 3 in a series.
All that said, I listened to the whole thing and although I felt lost at the beginning, I wasn’t by the end. I feel like I understood everything and really enjoyed all the twists and turns.
So for me to come in lost and still come to understand and enjoy it, i’m going to say that’s some stellar writing.
Read if:
🔪you’ve read the first two books

The way Cash loved Bailey is goals.
What a ride. I need to read more Tijan books!
The narrators were wonderful.

The Revenge is the third book in The Insiders Trilogy by Tijan. I absolutely loved the previous books and could not wait for this one!!!
The Revenge picks up right after The Damaged and just keeps going! Filled with non-stop suspense, drama, and unexpected twists, I could not get enough of this book!
The narration by Emma Galvin and Joe Arden was awesome! Emma Galvin IS Bailey, I can't imagine anyone else reading her part. I loved the depth they brought to this audiobook!
I'm sad to see this trilogy end, but it was done beautifully!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Audio review: Shout out to the dual narrators, thank GOODNESS. Hearing the actual implication of the words was far better than reading it on a page. I loved the female narrator, she had the perfect voice for Bailey, exactly as I heard in my head, and even better for her sarcastic responses. The voices made the heavy dialogue novel read much better than it had in the physical book. Unfortunately, the same gaps I felt when reading were present with listening.
Book review:
One of my favorite trilogies is complete and it feels really sad to think I won't have more Kash and Bailey to look forward to. This is the kind of series you sit and read in one go, don't be like those of us that started over a year ago and have remained hooked, waiting for the next release, ever since. Bailey is the awkward, illegitimate daughter of the biggest tech billionaire and, thanks to a failed kidnapping attempt, she's discovered her photographic memory and hacking skills are all thanks to him. While forgiveness takes time, the bonds she builds with her family, and with her assigned handler, and later lover, Kash, are what takes this story from purely suspense to romantic suspense. It's fast paced, with Kash's evil grandfather out for blood and Kash, in return, out for revenge. In-between though, we see sibling bonding, relationships blossoming, and a lot of entertaining debauchery.
Like many of Tijan's works, The Insiders Trilogy, and specifically The Revenge, are written in a very contemporary way. You read the story, reciting lines as though you are there, a character on the pages. Tijan takes you right into the scene, giving you the perspective of Bailey and Kash as they fall in love and fight for freedom for themselves and those around them. The Revenge is the closure, the impact we've all been waiting for, and Tijan delivers.
I am struggling to admit, though, that The Revenge was just not...it for me. The writing felt hurried, far more dialogue based than the previous two novels, and things are tied up so quickly. Bailey lost a lot of her spark, their relationship felt like it was purely search - rescue - screw, and don't get me started on how much more I wanted from the Chase storyline. I am so glad to have the whole story, all three books, in my hands, but I wish The Revenge had the same spark of the previous two titles.
Thank you to NetGalley and Tijan for providing me this audiobook in exchange for my honest feedback. I had not read the previous books in this series, so I didn’t come in knowing the backstory, however, that didn’t keep me from enjoying the book. I never felt “lost.” The plot was moved quickly and kept me engaged, wondering what would happen next. What girl wouldn’t love a billionaire boyfriend, complete with steamy scenes? The family drama was complex, but the dynamics were easy to follow. I was consistently entertained by this book, and I think those who read the previous ones will enjoy the conclusion.
