The first thing that sticks out in my mind after reading this book is it’s top tier banter. It was fantastic. This is technically part 3 of a series but I read it as a stand alone and it was fine. But I loved it so much you better believe the first two books are already in my TBR list!

This was also very funny. I laughed out pound multiple times. It reminded me a bit of Katherine Center’s early work that I’ve been making my way through in that it’s got great romance, great wit, a dash of life lessons thrown in but with a bit of spice which was an added bonus if you ask me!

Honestly, there really was nothing wrong with this book. It had everything I would ever want in a romance. I am so unbelievably happy i applied for this ARC otherwise I probably wouldn’t have read it anytime soon. You might think it’s just your average rom-com, but it’s not. It’s a tier above the rest.

I absolutely loved this book and couldn’t help rooting for these two characters thrown together by fate.

Carla and Eamon meet by chance when he is tasked with picking her up from the airport in Ireland for her best friend’s wedding, but as they get to know one another, they realize their lives couldn’t be more different. Carla is a bit of a free spirit and spent the last decade traveling, something she grew accustomed to as a child with her father. Eamon on the other hand is unhappy with his job, has recently been dumped, and seems to have lost his sense of direction in life.

What should have been a simple drive to a wedding ceremony turns into a series of adventurous detours and passionate hookups that leave them wanting more. The chemistry between them is palpable, though at times it does feel rushed, but with limited time and undeniable attraction, it wasn’t hard to let that detail slide. Overall, I thought this was fantastic, fast-paced read and I highly recommend this series!

This was an enjoyable romance that I didn't want to put down. I loved the main characters and the story was well developed.

Holy jeez. I was not expecting the emotional gut punch I got from this book.

It IS a light-hearted, fun adventure rom-com, but Carla’s journey through coming to terms with her father’s dementia is the real rollercoaster.

And I LOVED Eamon. Such a tender, solid MMC. No icks or red flags, which is always a treat.

This is a really great springtime read, but maybe be wary if you’re feeling a little emotional when you pick it up!

Not my favorite book in the series although I love reading about side plots I just felt like this one was a little less natural than the first two, I don't know it wasn't bad but I wasn't in love either it just didn't feel authentic to me. I would still read Trish's next book though.

Wanderlust + taking chances = latest book by Trish Doller. This was a fun adventure romcom with a lot of emotion and open door steam (though light on the details). 4⭐️

Off the Map was beautifully written. I laughed, yearned to travel alongside Carla and Eamon, and in the end, sobbed as Carla’s experience so closely mirrored one of my own. The last 30% made me feel everything. By the end, I felt wrung out but also at peace. The feelings in this book snuck up on me, so please feel free to DM me if grief is a trigger for you. It was written with care and love and made me love this author a little more.

Carla and Eamon’s travels around Ireland in the first part of the book were so much fun. I am nowhere near that spontaneous but loved reading of their adventurous side trips.

Road trip romance
Adventures in Ireland
Opposites attract
Just one bed
Encounters with wildlife

I alternated listening to the ALC and reading the ARC I was gifted. I loved the audiobook narration by Sarah Naughton. Her Irish accent was fantastic and was such a pleasant way to immerse myself in the storyline.

Off the Map is a light, sexy, romp through the Irish countryside. Carla Black has been travelling in her Jeep Wrangler with her father since she was a girl. When he passed he left her money to travel and that's what she does, all over the world stopping only to replenish her funds. Off the Map finds her in Ireland for her sister's wedding. Eamon Sullivan creates digital maps but has no idea what direction his life should take. When he picks Carla up at the airport, as it is his brother marrying her sister, a straightforward trip across Ireland become a fun-filled journey with crazy detours and tons of romantic adventure. But is it enough to coax these two individuals into a couple? Read and see! Fans of Doller will recognize the bride and groom from another novel which I think adds to the enjoyment of this book. I love it when authors reward their fans like that!!! Anyone who enjoys a good romcom will love Off the Map - I couldn't put it down. Many thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. I look forward to reading Trish Doller's next novel.

DNF at 30%. I am not connecting to the characters or buying into their attraction to each other. I find myself tuning out as I’m reading so decided to stop here. Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the advance reading copy.

Trish Doller wrote another book I enjoyed and escaped into. The real situations and life like relationships tell a good story!

Off the Map took me on an adventure I didn’t want to end. Carla and Eamon meet for the first time in Dublin to carpool to a wedding, but end up taking a few detours. Carla and Eamon are vivid characters with a great love story that felt fuller than the 266 pages it was captured in. Trish Doller explores parental relationships and figuring yourself out in a few different ways that make for an emotional story.

I was a fan of Carla and Eamon’s relationship from the moment they met. Their banter was a hit from the jump, but the hints at their emotional depth and how they could help each other did not go unnoticed. I mean, really, any book that makes me cry in the first chapter is worth reading.

If you think of this as a book about an established couple and road trips they're taking then it's super cute. However, it's about two people who just met and the insta love is a bit much. They have sex every other chapter and while I have no problem with this it was getting old pretty quick.

The trips and detours they went on sounded fun but they were also being so careless while getting to their friends' wedding (where they are best man/maid of honor and they had the rings!)

I enjoyed Carla's relationship with her Dad and watching them reconnect. The second half did feel like a completely different book, and I enjoyed that part a lot!

Thank you to the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Insta-infatuation and perfect meet cute, a charming lad, the quintessential road trip through Ireland straight out of the movie leap day....such cute story!

I loved the cameos by previous books characters, the heavy parts of the story fit with the tone of the book but didn't detract from the story all amidst one heck of a roadtrip adventure. I'm not usually an insta love but the connection we see from Carla and Eamon from their initial meeting in the first chapter was so much more than that right from the get go. The third act not quite break up felt appropriate for their story, nothing cringey or irritating, but yet still couldn't wait for the resolution of navigating the literal ocean between them.

Curl up in your favorite chair on a rainy day with some hot cocoa and whiskey for this splendid roadtrip escape!

I read about 30-40% of this. While I did like the premise and writing, I kept getting annoyed with the characters and their lack of responsibility to their friends getting married! I couldn't finish it but would still recommend to the right reader. Thank you for the ARC!

I think this was my favorite out of the three books so far! I really loved Carla and Eaton and enjoyed this story a lot. It was touching, romantic, and a self exploration.

I love the portrayal of the relationship between Carla and her dad and step mom and the sad but realistic to me depiction of Dementia. It’s a horrible sad thing and memories of my grandfather came to me throughout this reading experience, so I could really relate to Carla’s feelings.

Thank you netgalley for my e-arc!

There’s nothing like two characters jumping into the sack in Chapter 2! Woo…I was not prepared 😂 But then again, their whole relationship was set to warp speed, so this was just setting the tone for the novel I guess.

I love travel and adventure, so I really enjoyed their off the beaten path experience and fly by the seat of their pants decisions. I did think it was a bit selfish though to be doing this leading up to their best friend and brothers wedding. Everyone was waiting on them to show up for the festivities and they were just, “ehh…no big deal! We will show up when we show up! Doesn’t matter that we are part of the wedding party for two very important people in our lives. Let’s just bang our way through Ireland instead.” 🥴

Overall, this was a cute, if unlikely, story. If you can get past the insta love and selfishness of the two main characters and just enjoy the adventures part, then you will enjoy it.

Although this is the third book of the Beck Sisters series, it can be read alone. The previous two books add background and history to the plot.

Carla Black goes to Ireland to be maid of honor at her friend Anna’s wedding to Keane Sullivan. She meets Eamon Sullivan, the best man, at a pub where he is tasked with picking her up at the airport. Instead of them going to help Keane and Anna with wedding plans they go rouge. The two hit it off immediately and literally “go off the map” on their own adventures.

They eventually meet up with Anna and Keane for a mini adventure before joining the anxious family ready for a wedding! Will single girl, fly by the seat of her pants, Carla be wooed into reconsidering her thoughts in marriage? Does Carla and Eamon’s relationship end in Ireland?

A absolute wonderful feel good romantic comedy that anyone who is a fan of the genre will fall in love with

Carla arrives in Dublin for her best friend Anna's wedding and meets the groom's brother Eamon and is immediately attracted to him. Eamon is down to earth and responsible but miserable. Carla encourages him to experience fly-by-the-seat of your pants travel and the two have many mad cap adventures along the way to Anna's wedding. Carla's father Biggie has encouraged her to live moment by moment through travel experiences. Eamon feels tied down to his corporate job through a fear of disappointing his mother by not being the "responsible one". They have to work through whether they can make a romance work.
I really wanted to like this as I've loved all of Trish Doller's other work but I could not empathize with Carla's 'here for a good time, not for a long time' mantra. It made her seem kind of selfish at times-especially in regards to her best friend's wedding. I loved the relationship with her father and her actions are fully explained..it just didn't make me like her more. As always, the theming of using travel to live life to the fullest is explored and the writing is just top notch. I'll give it a solid 3.5 stars.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in return for my honest review.

Carla is a wanderer who is considering settling down. Eamon is a homebody who is considering wandering. Add instant attraction and you have this book. The hardest part for me was the dementia aspect as it wasn’t mentioned in the blurb and I would have skipped it if I had known. The story itself is entertaining as a stand-alone, but there are apparently 2 other books before it which would have helped with the characters and the story. It’s a spicy book which I like, but may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

This is a fast-paced, insta-love rom-com. When I say fast-paced, I mean it, these two were falling in love in DAYS, hooked up in HOURS 😂. A slow burn this book is not.

It’s relatively low stakes, Eamon decides after a few days with Carla that he wants to leave his job and travel the world, Carla decides it’s time to finally settle down. Eamon talks a little too much about his ex girlfriend for the first bit of the novel, and Carla is a little too focused on the advice her dad gave her and she’s held on to her whole life.

It drove me a little crazy how long they were taking to get to their friends wedding they were part of 😅. I was stressed!

Despite some things not feeling entirely realistic, it’s a quick read/listen and overall pretty cute and fun.
